I click on the Confirm button and i am taken to the Personalization screen
did any one encounter this issue? if yes, could you resolve it? how?

Confirming KN takes over Both Screen
I can not find a way to make Keynote work on only one of two monitors. I turned off the Presenter Display, but now the second monitor is back.

You can't change the display in the Mail app, if you are holding the iPad in landscape orientation then the left-hand third will be for navigation, and the right-hand two-thirds will be an email. If you hold the iPad in portrait orientation then the navigation section becomes a drop-down section.

CS6 problem. When I open the Mask panel, it takes up the entire screen width and the Looks controls disappear, Also, there is a new panel below the Mask panel that seems to have no purpose that I can find. The documentation says "Mask and Look panels - The Mask panel is now placed next to the Look panel. WIth the masking and grading tools placed side-by-side, you can now work faster on the mask workflow." Is there a way to move, hide, or otherwise manipulate the panels for a custom layout? All the examples I can find on the Web show the Looks panel to the left of the Mask panel where the controls are available.
Ok, here is what I have so far. Appdelete the iWork and reinstalled. Pages and Number work, but not Keynote.
Now, I downloaded a couple apps that I need, and no matter what I did, the spinning ball came up and the download stopped till it unlocked itself. It is really frustrating because the download was not completed and whatever came through would not mount. Could this issue be the internet connection? Permission fix showed a lot of Airport issues. I will try to run permissions fix again. -
Power on MacBook Pro takes me to login screen. All user icons appear as normal. Once I enter password for myself (administrator) spinning takes longer than normal and doesn't log in but displays a no sign (circle w line through it) when attempting to login from guest account it takes me to screen that says that the computer will restart to a safe safari system for the guest user. I waited for a longer time and the grey denim screen comes up. By the apple in left upper corner it said I think LSA? Then safari menu bar. When I go into iTunes (the latest update) now, it takes over the entire screen is difficult to remove. Is there a setting I can change in it to have it behave the old way?
I presume you are runnning iTunes on either an OS X 10.7 or OS X 10.8 system. Move the cursor to the very top of the screen so that the menu bar appears, then click the blue box with the arrows at the very right corner of the menu bar, or press Shift-Command-F. That will switch iTunes back to a normal window, which it should then remember for future launches.

It might be out of memory. Close all apps you're not using using the toolbar that comes up when you double click on the home button. Press and hold any icon and then tap on the red minus (-) symbol of the apps you're not using.

I have just purchased a new windows pc running windows 8 and am unable to install itunes 11 on my machine, when i tick download now it takes me to a screen that wants to show me whats new but has no tab to run installation or continue past whats new
Use a different browser.
iTunes can only be installed and run in desktop mode. -

Well ... to start, we need to know what your sequence settings are, as that vertical layout of the black edging is rather unusual. That would be "Sequence/Settings" and looks like this:
Then in the lower corner, your Project panel ... click on the far left lower icon of lines so you see information as lines of data rather than thumbs like so ...
Then hit the "tilde" key on your keyboard (upper left to the left of the numbered keys atop the typical keyboard) so that panel goes big, and you can see the data on all assets in the project ... like so ...
Notice everything's got frame rate, duration, start & end points, frame-size and all. That gives you the info on various clip properties. That's the info to get you started, and perhaps "us" a bit more understanding of 1) where you're at and with some other comments, 2) where you want to be.
As to teaching this ... there are some AdobeTV vids on putting multiple types/sizes of things on a timeline, using re-sizing & interpret commands, also on lynda-dot-com and some other 'paid' teaching sites, and some available free on the web if you search ... you'll need a lot more info & background on this.

How do I make my footage take up the whole screen in my video?
I've spent many hours putting together a video with footage from 3 different cameras. I've done this before without problems, but when I did it this time, my video came out very small, as you can see in the picture below. How do I create the video to fill the entire space in video players, without letterboxes. But I do want to keep the entire shot. So, I want the footage to take up the whole screen, without excluding pieces of any shots. I want footage & pictures that have smaller dimensions/resolutions than other pictures to expand to the size of the footage/pictures with big dimensions/resolutions, even though it means i'll loose some image quality.
Is this something that's done in the export menu video settings, which I'm showing in the pic below?

again, I am able to use search of firefox to get to a link but then all the tool bars from my operating system are no longer available as the link takes up the entire screen (there are no firefox toolbards either so I can't shrink the page etc).. Thus I cannot move around and am stuck with no option but control alt delete to get to task manager to close firefox.

1. I don't have that fat format I checked as I saw this on another answer...BUT...you are right the project was very bloated and I made a new project with the sequence and moved a bunch of projects off to an outside drive and things are flying again...this effect "twirl" was on three clips and this seemed to be creating a problem along with it being a bloated project. Don't know why this effect renders easily then the next second doesn't it's on three clips on the entire project and one or another might not render all of a sudden.
2. I understand what you said about the timeline export...I decided to export the sequence without the matte it was nested in and that sequence did have the chapter markers on the timeline and they again didn't export??? I'll look tomorrow at this it makes no sense if what you're saying is how to do it...the final cut pro book said they should have showed up if I export from the browser and that didn't work either.
3. I then matted that output and rendered it to output but I am worried this will degrade and compress the sequence more than I want by outputting the same sequence with current settings twice???...the couple of outputs I could make nested looked very good as this was one render...however, I tried doing a quicktime "current settings" with the dvd studio pro info still trying to export chapter markers and maybe it's my imagination but the output didn't look as sharp as just an output with just chapter markers???
r. I did look at the final cut pro book and it says that mpeg 2 movies will not read chapter markers anyway if you create one in compressor...if this is true it makes no difference if the quicktime output isn't having chapter markers show up. I assume when I go to author though I can put an mpeg 2 movie into dvd studio pro and create chapter markers at that point!! It seems weird it says it can do it with an mpeg 1 but not an mpeg 2 when everyone is using that for dvds.
