Confirmation unit of Measure

Dear All,
Please guide me is it possible that order unit of measure is To but confirmation unit of measure is PC. is yes then how

dear friend,
first, if you run MM03 for your materils and have a look at "Additional Data" -> "Units of measure" you will probably see the units 'TO' and 'PC'.
second, if you run , say CO11N to enter the time ticket for that material,  you will be able to set the unit of measure which you saw at material master :
Set the Yield (quantity) and Conformation unit of measure (which the yield/scrap is confirmed).
Save the confirmation.
Done.
good luck!

    Hello Experts,
We are working on CRM 5.0 SP 7, IC WebClient and have implemented the BAdi "<b>CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI</b>" to assign a service product ''<b>INVESTIGATION'</b> whenever user selects service ticket in WebClient.
However, when confirming a Business Partner and accessing the service ticket, an error is getting displayed stating "<b>Enter the unit of measure</b>".
We have already mentioned the unit of measure in Product but it seems it is not picking from there.

    hi
    I had a similar Problem
You will have to assign the base unit of measure in service tab as hours and then in the sales and distribution tab assign the same unit in the sales unit and give minimum order quantity(for e.g-1) & delivery unit ,this you will have to do for all the sales areas you might have mapped in the S&D tab
I'm sure the issue will be resolved
    Cheers!!

  • Production Order for a Material with two units of measure?

Hi Everybody I have the following issue.
In my company there is a new production process with a Material that should be configured in the master data with the field "Base Unit of Measure" as per unit (each). But the production process, should be confirmed by tx CO11N, in Kilograms. I know that I can use the additional Data in tx MM03 to set a Production Unit, but the value of convertion would be fixed. For example 122 Kg = 1 each, the thing is that the value in kilograms for each lot can vary, one lot can weight 122 and another one can weghr 125, and in each case I shoul have two units in stock. And as I have the value of convertion fixed, when I confirm each lot one for 122 kg and another for 125 kg I will have 2.025 units in MB52.
How can I solve this problems? I need to have the chance the confirm in kg changing for each lote the quantity but in the base Unit of Measure have one unit for lot. As if for tx CO11N I could have a field where I can set tha x quantity of Kilograms is x each.
    Kind regards
    Leandro.

Hi Ayoub, First thank`s for your promt answer,
    1. The Quantity is different, because is not a perfect process, there is a manual work in the process that makes this quantity differ, there is no big difference, maybe a Kilo or Two but the production mannager wants to have this registered. And besides in productions they manage kilograms, but for selling the comercials manage units (each - EA)
2.The convertion rate is known at the end of the process after cutting and packaging a unit, they weight it.

    Hi Amit
Gerhard is 100% correct. Please make sure that your unit of measures are maintained on the product master(trans COMMPR01).
Use the code below in CRM_PRODUCT_I_BADI to set uom.
      if cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_unit is initial.
        cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_unit = 'EA'.
        cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_num = 1.
        cs_product_i_badi-process_qty_den = 1.
      endif.
Also, you will find you get error to specify product quantity. This can be done in badi CRM_SCHEDLIN_BADI with code below.
    if is_schedlin_wrk-quantity is initial.
       cs_schedlin_badi-quantity = 1.
    endif.

  • TEXT material in Sales Order - Unit of Measurement is blank

We need to trigger a PR from a text item in sales order.
Only problem we are facing is an error message saying "Enter Order Unit". But there is no value in F4 help for order unit. There is no permissible value for unit of measure in F4 help, as it is derived from material master.

here is the exact requirement. We want to trigger a PR for procurement of services from a sales order. To trigger a PR for services and use service entry sheet for service confirmation we need to use item category D-Services in the PR and PO. Item category D does not allow a material to be entered as there will be no invetory tracking for this services. This is standard SAP property for item category D in the PR.
So to trigger a PR only with a text line from a sales order you need to have a sales order line item only with the text and trigger a schedule line category with the order type NB, Item category as D and account assignment category as R.

I tried adding the UOM in the debuggin mode and everything is working fine. Need to know if there is any standard setting to achive this.

  • Unit of measure changed in BOM not reflected in Production order

We noticed the following problem in one of our production order.
    1. We have a bom component having a unit of measure MT.
    2. A planned order already exists for this header material.
    3. We changed the unit of masure in the same BOM component to KG.
    4. We processed the production order and did confirmations and did auto GR.( Value 20 times high)
    5. The cost at GR is very high , although the material consumption is considering the changed unit of measure KG.
Any possible solution to this problem,
    Thanks,
    Manohar

All steps suggested including read PP master data , rerun MRP and generate a new planned order and then convert to a new production order, have been done but the effect at 101 remains same with high actual costs.
The production order is acocunt-assigned to a WBS.
In table QBEW , the standard price is updated as very high. We havs S as price control in header material master.
May be , some one has some idea about how the standard price in Table QBEW gets updated. What is the source for this standard price which gets updated on doing GR ( It comes to project stock and we see the standard price being very high and so the actual cost is very high)
    Thanks,
    Manohar

  • U2018Ea unit of measure has not been created in the language ES u2018in srm

    Dear Friends,
I have checked in ECC & SRM in table T006A (UOM languages). UOM "EA" is defined in ES (Spanish).
Also in comm_hierarchy also i  chked for product category language maintenance and found maintained in EN,ES languages.
u2018Ea unit of measure has not been created in the language ES u2018
I have tried with sapanish (international sort, dominic, traditional sort)& rest of spanish spoken country languages but i am getting the same error.( IE- tools-general-languages & refreshed the page). u2018Ea unit of measure has not been created in the language ES u2018
    Regards,
    William

    Hi Willam,
When are you getting this error ? i.e. while creation of shopping cart or process purchase order..
I believe this issue is due to creation of UOM..which means EA UOM should be created with EA language.
For further details please have a look on
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SI/UnitofMeasurerelatedsettingsinSAP
where they have specified that "Maintain UOM in different languages by logging to the system with different logon language"
    Kindly confirm.

  • Unit of Measurement - MB31 Goods receipt for order

    Hi,
we maintained production unit (MARC-FRTME) for some materials. Now the goods receipt for order with MB31 suggests this production unit (MSEG-ERFME). The customer's requirement is that MB31 suggests the quantity in base unit of measure (MARA-MEINS). The quantity should be the entered value in the confirmation of the last operation.
I implemented BADI WORKORDER_GOODSMVT (IF_EX_WORKORDER_GOODSMVT~MANUAL_GOODS_RECEIPT) to convert the quantity from production unit to base unit of measure. The stock is increased correctly but the Purchase Order Unit of Measure (MSEG-BSTME) is in base unit and not in production unit. If the material document is displayed with MIGO the quantity ordered (Tab Quantity) is wrong. The quantity is the production quantity and the unit is the base unit.
    For example:
    MARA-MEINS:   PC
    MARC-FRTME:  XY
    1 XY <=> 12 PC
Production order: 13 XY (=156 PC)
    MB31 with 100 PC
MIGO: Quantity orderd: 13 PC (instead of XY)
Does anyone have an idea how this problem can be solved?
    Thanks!
    Best regards
    Martin

You can attend this issue by activating batch classification. Extend the classifcation view and maintain batch classification for the Unit of measurement of the material.

  • No alternative unit of measure specified

    Hi,
We are encountering no alternative unit of measure specified upon confirming the process order in COR6. What might be the problem. The base unit of measure is properly maintained in MM. Base unit of measure is Btl and the unit of issue is case.
    Hope you could help us.
    Thanks

    Hi
In the confirmation screen, in the yeild  unit field is there. open the field there and check whether you units are displayed there or not. If they are not defined there then open the table and update your units there

  • Order unit and confirmation unit

    Hi
Is there any way to achieve this..
I am creating a production order in units EA..(For Eg Welding rework order)
While confirming the unit should be in tonnes.
Say 100 ea of a material is equal to 1 tonne of confirmation qty..
In other words, if a worker confirms 100 qty of a material, in the confirmation table the qty should be 1 tnne.
If possible how to accomplish this..

"if a worker confirms 100 qty of a material, in the confirmation table the qty should be 1 tnne."
is ur issue is confirming in TONN or to store in table as TONN unit.
if ur issue is 2nd then its wont be possible at all, as the data is stored in the Base UoM.
and 1st case is easily possible using alternate unit of measure.

  • Units of measure

We're connecting our SRM system to another R/3 backend system. When looking at the units of measure in this backend system, I see table T006A listing the measurements in 3 languages (German, English & French), but not all measurements can be found in all three languages. Some do exist in all 3 languages but not all of them. As we try to synch these with SRM, I need to know if...
    1. Do we have to have the measurements in all 3 languages in R/3 as well as in SRM in order for it to work?
    2. Of the Commercial & Technical names, which one is displayed by SRM during the SC creation? I assume it's the Commercial but not sure.
My concern is that when a German or French user logs in to shop, s/he may not recognize the measurement abbreviation and will need to assistance in looking up what the abbreviation stands for. So to be able to describe what the code stands for, do we have to create them in 3 different languages?
    Regards,
    SN

    Hi
    <b>Please go through this -></b>
    1. Yes. Correct. using Tcode- CUNI.
    2. Commercial name
UOM are stored in an internal format. At the display time, this format is converted to language dependant commercial format. If not possible *** is displayed.
Check table T006A to see maintained entries for internal unit (say PAK, etc..).
Use transaction CUNI to complete it for all langauages, English (EN), French (FR), German (DE), etc...
Your Unit of Measurement don't have description in required langauge (German, Spanish)  language.
Log on to SRM and backend system in (German, French, Spanish) languages and run transaction CUNI.
Find the correpsonding Unit (say ZTO) and fill ISO Code text and Measurement unit text.
Also, Try to keep measurement unit <-> ISO code assignments unique.
Please confirm that ISO codes and especially UOM configuration have been correctly maintained in english in SRM as well as in R/3 (transaction CUNI)
You can simply maintain the same UOMs by configuring them in transaction CUNI. Additionally you can do a remote compare/adjust to synch the data in the systems if you have a large volume of changes.
You just need to make sure that the units of measure in the SAP
Enterprise Buyer system correspond to those in the backend system.

  • PO Confirmation unit

    Dear Gurus,
I would like to know if it is possible for a vendor to confirm via idoc (ORDERSP) in a unit that is different from the one defined in the PO.
    Ex : Purchase order unit : 1 PAL (1 PAL <-> 1000 PC)
Vendor confirmation unit : 1000 PC
I have made some tests but I did not succeed. Do I need a specific development to manage this functional requirement?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Lionel

You will have to take help of your technical consultant and map units of vendor to your respective units.
in PO confirmations should in PO units only, else you should create units as per vendor in your system and use those units in PO creation.
If you maintain a simple mapping table of which vendor unit corresponds to which of your unit of measure, I guess your purpose will be solved.

  • Price by multiple unit of measure

I have a requirement to price in multiple units of measure for the same material number.  For example material # 12345
    1 Box = $500
    1 Ea   = $1.50
    1 Box = 500 ea
Customer orders 501 each of material 12345 on one line item of the sales order.  Requirement is to price at $501.50 not $501.00
I have tried to use condition supplements without success.  Does anyone have suggestions without using pricing requirements or forumals of how this requirement can be met?

    hello, atul and friends.
i think interval pricing alone may not be enough, but definitely it could be part of the solution.  (ms. gina, please confirm if i understood the requirement correctly)
let's say the customer orders 999 units, which will translate to 1 box and 499 loose units.  the pricing will be something like:
    $1 per unit times 999 units = $999.00
    $0.10 per unit times 499 units loose = $49.90
    total should be $ $1048.90
however, if order is 1000 units, pricing will be:
    $500 time 2 boxes = $1000.00
so, the "surcharge" of $0.10 applies only to the loose units.  but in the order, the quantity is entered either in boxes or units.  the challenge is to create condition records that recognize this packing/grouping option.  interval pricing must be supported by a feature that can recognize capacity.
    regards!
