Connecting my t410s with an old composite/ s-video TV

Hi,
Just bought the t410s with switchable graphics and I was wondering if it was possible to connect it to my old composite/ s-video TV (through VGA or HDMI or other option...). I already spent a considerable amount on the computer, don't really feel like spending $100+ on a converter from VGA to S-Video. Any options?

Your TV hasn't entered some odd picture in picture mode has it with two 'inputs' side by side?

Replace with after effects composition problem, video dissapears

Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with premiere's cs5 "replace with after effects composition" command. Every time I try doing it I get just a new comp made in after effects but no files so the screen is just black without content.
Then the video in premiere dissapears too and the "file" in the timeline turns a pink color.
Any ideas about whats going on here? thanks in advance.

Grant, I did figure it out (and felt rather silly when I did). You have to select all your files from the Project portion of AE and drag them into the Render segment - bottom left corner of your AfterEffects screen - in order for them to play. I guess I should have come back to the forum and reported once I got it working, so everyone would know that there's nothing wrong with Adobe. Once you do that, there are all sorts of super-cool things you can do with a slide show for video presentation. I did decide to put it into Windows Media Play and convert to MPEG before uploading to the internet, however, because it reduced the size to roughly 15% of AVI. I preserved AVI for DVD because of quality, which is far better.

Connect to comcast with an old airport

I have a very old Airport and, although I can get Internet on my Mac directly through the Comcast modem, I can't get my airport set up to give me wifi. I am not great with computers, so is there anyone out there who can talk me through this from start to finish? Thanks

Check to see if the AirPort software is up to date.
Launch AirPort.
From the AirPort menu bar top of your screen click AirPort > Check for Updates
And make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. Click the AirPort icon in the status menu bar top right in your screen. You can turn Wi-Fi off and on from the drop down menu.
And try turning off the modem (disconnect the power cable) for about 5 minutes then turn it back on.

Connecting my Powerbook with my old Performa 6400...

I want to retrieve some files on my old Performa 6400 and copy them to my Powerbook running Mac OS X 10.4.8. The old Mac is running system Mac OS 8.
I have tried via ethernet but neither Mac seems to be able to see each other.
Any good suggestions?

I switched from dial-up to dsl. When I try to log back into AOL mail it says that it doesnt support my system. I dont know what operating system I have. Are you using the AOL software on the PowerMac to access the AOL mail or are you accessing from the AOL Website?

If you download and install the 10.3.9 Combo Update and then run Software Update from the PowerMac, the compatible version of Safari will be installed.

Go into Settings App and turn OFF Find My iPhone. It will ask for your old password, but in the future you can use your new Apple ID account. I have a BT Infinity router plugged into the Time Capsule, not sure where the radio settings are?
They are able to use the network settings of the TC i.e. they can connect to the internet via the wifi through the TC but when they try and connect to the AirPort Disk this is where it is not allowing a connection.
I don;t have the drive shared out at all at the moment, is this necessary? How do I do this if so?
I have attached the screen shots of all the settings.

You can connect them in Target Mode http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661 and then drag and drop from the iMac to the MacBook.

future reference import your pics to your PC, that way you can always sync it back using itunes

composite don't support mirror so it will only display on the tv when the app being used support tvout option
the build in video app does so it should display on the tv at least my composite cable does with my iphone4
the audio always works it's pretty much works like a headset
