Connection problem with adobe download assistant

Hello,
I'm using windows 7 and I try to install the trial version of the Master Collection cs6.
I have download Adobe Download Assistant (multiple times) but every time I try to connect myself with my Adobe ID, it doesn't work. I can click on Connection, the action is registered by the software but nothing happen. I also can't close the software with the simple click on close, I have to use the task manager (CTRL+ALT+SUPPR).
I have already unistall my cs5 version using all the help I could find on the website (cleaner tool..).
Can you help me ?

If you are having problems with extracting it is likely that you have customized the location of your download. I would recommend downloading to your User folder or Desktop folder. When the download and extraction process are complete you can then install to your Program Files folder.

Every time I am trying to sign into my Adobe Download Assistant it says I have an Error 100 because my account can't connect with Adobe.com.It is saying to check my connection(4 bars and direct connect) and to restart Adobe Download Assistant. How do I fix this problem?

I have problems getting Adobe Download Assistant installed

I had to remove it and know i'm trying to download the try version of InDesign, but the download assistant doesn't install automatically like it should do. When the installation it's almost done a window appears saying that it needs administrator's privileges in order to complete the installation, and since i am using the administrator account i don't know why this happens.

Then when the process is complete this window appears. It says: There has been found these problems: Adobe Application Manager wasn't able to install. Other times what it says is that it requires administrator's permisson or something like that, so i moved my Adobe folder to another place, to my public files. Then i try to do the same download again and now this is what the windows says. I can't do the click right on the file because there is no file. The Assistant wich I need in order to get the InDesign run file desn´t even finish installing.

Can't download DW5.5. Error with Adobe Download Assistant

I am getting error 100 with the Adobe Download Assistant (ADA). The log is below. IE can connect to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/flex2gateway so why is ADA having problem? I wish Adobe didn't take away the direct download links. Searching the forums it seems lots of people are having problems with iADA and it must be causing support headache for Adobe.
My suggestion is for people who know what they're doing, provide the direct links. For people who don't know what to do after the download or have slow connection, they can use ADA.

Sorry, I thought the Cleaner would do it. Did another search and found these instructions to remove the download manager:

The browser is involved because it runs as a plugin of the browser. Plugins are different for the browsers. IE typically runs through ActiveX whereas other browsers run through a java enabled version. By trying the download in another browser you can rule out where the problem lies. Otherwise, I feel your only solution is to get in touch with Adobe support because this is a user-to-user community and there won't be much more help than KB articles. Also with Adobe email support you can email them log files to look at. It's along the process and will explain as you go.

Problem w/ Adobe Download Assistant

It shows the download is complete and at the bottom of the screen it is extracting at a full bar, but it doesn't stop. It has been going for about 4 hours now and no end in sight?? I have even uninstalled this and it won't go away
What can I do?? I'm on a Mac with Snow Leopard OS

If it is still extracting then the download is not complete. Please try solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1 and try downloading again. I would recommend choosing the default location of the User folder when downloading the install files.

I am getting error 100 when I try to log into adobe download assistant. I am using windows vista , on chrome, and use AVG firewall which I allow all adobe. What can I do trying to install Photoshop cs5 extended.

Yeah, right. I spent an hour trying on 'chat' and got nowhere. They don't seem to know anything about the dl assistant.
I tried to install from here:

the dl assistant comes up and it downloads cs5 flash pro and then prompts me that my system is due for a 'restart' which I select 'ignore'. Then it starts the installation and part way thru it prompts me to terminate ie and chrome. Okay, soon as I do that the installation terminates altogther and I have to start all over. Since it takes a long time to dl each time, all i want to know is where did the 'exe' go. when the install starts it seems to be running something called pdapp. i can't find the trial exe. i did this yesterday with the flash builder and everything worked as expected but it looks to work completely diff with flash pro. Why??? Where is the exe?

I have very big problem with Adobe Download Assistant. I tried download Adobe Premier Pro CS5 trial. I downloaded ADA, and there is not a list of trials... It looks like:

Adobe Download Assist will not connect - multiple attemps

I've successfully downloaded a trial version of photoshop, yet when I try to download after effects the ADA will not connect. I have removed the program twice with reinstallation, and still no luck. Advice??

Yes we don't have direct links for the trials. You might try a different web browser as well as a selective start up. What type of virus protection software and software firewall are you using? Did you disable them or direct the software firewall to allow connections from the Adobe Download Assistant?
