Consistent 8007 error when trying to download from iTunes / App Store on my iMac.

Hi I get a consistent 8007 error when trying to download on my iMac. Yet can download and it works fine via Apple TV. I'm also having issues downloading on the App Store. I've checked the date and time, firewall and everything else seems to be fine. I can't uninstall iTunes as am running OSX 10.8.4 and am not tech confident enough to run this via terminal. Help!

When I try to download an app in the Mac App Store I get an error message: "We could not complete your purchase. Error Unknown." Sometimes it says: "There is an error in the Mac App Store". Here is an update and more information: I actually have two MBP's. One is a mid-2009 model and one is a new, mid-2012. Can't get past Change in Terms and Conditions when trying to download from the App store

So, I noticed that this was a problem back in 2012, and was somehow resolved, but I am experiencing it now on my Macbook Pro. When I try to download and app, a window pops up stating that Apple has changed its terms and conditions and that I need to agree to them. So I scroll through, open to full frame in order to check the agree box, and nothing happens. Is there another box I am missing? Should I be redirected to another screen? When I click back to purchase, it asks me again to read the terms and conditions.
This same thing happened on my iphone 5, but when I clicked agree, it asked me a few more times, but then allowed me to continue with updates.

iTunes (10.5.2.11) locks up when trying to download from iTunes U site Madingley Lectures. The problem is repeatable on two different PCs running the same version of iTunes. I never previously had problems downloading presentations from this site. Any ideas?
Both PCs are running Windows 7 fully up to date with patches.

I successfully downloaded the latest edition by going to the Store area. It took around 10 minutes. iTunes behaved fine and indicated the progress of the download.
However when I try to download another lecture via the iTunes U option within iTunes, the software freezes.
There is no progress bar and I can't change focus within iTunes. The only option I have is to kill the process from the Task Manager.
The lockup occurs almost immediately after I click on the Get button.
In previous months the downloads worked fine.

Please help if anyone knows how to fix or bypass this problem.

These ones are tricky. But the following instructions are worth a try.
First do a complete uninstall of iTunes and related components (but don't reinstall just yet), as per the following document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
a. Launch regedit (Start >> Search Programs and Files >> type Regedit and open the regedit that comes up.)
b. Access the following Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData \S-1-5-18\Components
c. Perform the following actions
i. Right Click on Components Folder
ii. Select Permissions
iii. Select Full Control and Read Permissions options
iv. Select Advanced Button
v. Select Owner Tab
vi. Select to Change Owner to the Administrators
vii. Check the option “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects”
viii. Select OK when prompted that it may not change all.
ix. Select Apply
x. Select Apply again
xi. Exit the Registry Editor
Now try reinstalling iTunes again. Does it go in properly this time?

Mavericks will not download from the app store. It shows up under "other purchases" but the action button is grey and will not allow me to install, uninstall or redownload. I meet the system requirements but nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated!

There is nothing wrong with my iTunes, is more of the App store that I am concerned about. And I've tried the "Authorise this computer" yes it does download when using iTunes, but no luck with App Store. And, yes I am logged onto iTunes when doing purchases.
I find this really fustrating because the App store works fine on my ipod but once it comes to my macbook, it does not download. A few seconds later after I click on an app to download, the pop up message notifies me that the purchase cannot be downloaded.

Receiving Win32 app error when trying to download latest itunes

I am receiving the following error when I try to update itunes. .....Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IES\37LS4QDM\iTunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I saw a previous post from someone with a similar problem. It was suggested that she update Windows XP and that solved the problem. I also have Windows XP and it is completely updated. I also tried emptying the files in the Temp Folder as suggested my another iTunes support page, but couldn't delete everything because two files were running and I couldn't figure out from what program. There were also folders inside the temp folder for iTunes, but I was afraid to delete them.
Any ideas???

are you running the install "online" or are you saving the iTunesSetup.exe to your hard drive and then running the install by doubleclicking the installer file?
are you connecting to a network (or directly to the internet) wirelessly?

How do I setup my son's Iphone 3gs to hit my apple itunes store acct when he needs to buy music? Right now when he is trying to purchase from Itunes it is defaulting to his apple ID which is his gmail account. I've looked through settings but when I get to where I can change it to my apple id it prompts for a new password including a number. My apple id does not have a number in it. I must be in the wrong place. Help?

To change the Apple ID for purchases, go to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID show, sign out, sign back in using the ID you want to use.

HT201272 Keep getting error #499 when trying to download a song from an album I purchased that failed to download. Error message appears when trying to download from iTunes and the cloud. Re-starting the computer did not help.

I downloaded an album I purhcased a few days ago but one of the album's songs did not download. I received an error message, #499, for which I can get no explanation or interpretation of what error #499 even is (other than generic terms). All my efforts to re-start the download have failed. I've tried several times to download the file to no avail, tried the cloud service to no avail, and re-started the computer to no avail.
My main intention is to, of course, get the download completed. My secondary intention is to, hopefully, bring to the attention of Apple - iTunes staff, the grossly inadequate, dare I say cryptic, error message descriptions iTunes displays.
I can provide the purchase receipt number if it is required.

Error when trying to download from OpenLibrary

Every time I try to download a book from OpenLibrary or any other site with a similar setup I get a "Page not found' or equivalent error. It's as if a port or program is blocked by a firewall but I've made all the exceptions and even tried turning the firewall off with no luck. Previously ADE would pop up and download the PDF but now it times out immediately.

You should be able to download the 5.0.2 update for running on Vista from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=40&platform=Windows if you do not already have it installed.

Look at the folder created by the download in to Windows gallery. What types of files are on the camera card ?

Have you tried exiting iTunes and restarting? The times I've seen this error this has worked. After restarting iTunes the program asks me to sign into my account and then the downloads begin.

When I try to download from this camera via USB - first my Adobe Photo Downloader does not open as it does with my other 2 digital cameras when connecting, second - when I open the downloader and choose "get photos" it lists the new "S630" but then gives me a fatal error (c0000005) when I select "Get Photos". What can I do to try to get this new camera to act like to other cameras for downloading? (Right now I have to download into Windows Gallery - save to a folder - then open Elements to get photos from folder.) Thanks for any help!

Error When Trying to Restore from iTunes Backup

I had to erase and re-install the operating system. I thought I had iTunes covered by burning an iTunes backup to a CD, but when trying to restore iTunes from the CD it will restore a few songs and then give an error message that it was unable to read or write to my hard drive. I looks as though it restored the music that I owned and put on the computer but not the tunes I had purchased from the iTunes store and not the playlists. I did not know enough to burn the /music file. Is there anything I can do to get the burned CD to restore?

Contacts are not part of the backup. They are seperate and either you need to sync them with an email program such as outlook or use icloud mail,contacts, and calendars on the phone. Unless you did that then the contacts are gone.
