Contract determination in service order for PPR items
Hi Experts,
Contract data is not being determined for some items in service order. All these items are assigned to product list in service contract using product range or PPR.
1) PPR is created with the type "sales contract"
2) In the categories section assigned the relevant category ID's
3) PPR is assigned to the service contract under product list.
4) Service order is maintained for contract determination 'D' - determination both at header and item level
5) When a service order is created I see that expected items are not showing the contract data.
Any suggestions - any specific setting I am missing
I found a SAP note for same problem in previous versions of CRM. (5.0 to 5.1)
but we are on BBPCRM 6.0

i am trying to create a service ticket from WEB IC by confirming Account and Ibase and then creating service request and able to save without error.
if i end session and open the service request again in change mode and if delete the ibase, then appeas the message
"You should run a new contract selection for item 0000000010", going through OSS notes, but found nothing.
Contract Determination is set to 'E' : Assign at Item leve : Assign immediately if unique for transaction type ZXXX.
if i open the service ticket in CRMD_ORDER and go in change mode if i click process action button next to error, this will disappear. but it comes when i assing a ibase to the request, so its working only when i create.
any sort of help will be appreciated.

My question, is ATP check possible in Service Order for Sales Item? My requirement is that when i create a service order in the web UI with a sales item and drill down to the item level, i see the schedule lines assignment block but w/o any Confirming date, so i want to know whether the ATP check is happening or not. For example wen i create a sales order in web UI with a sales item and drill down into the item level, the schedule line AB shows me the Confirming date checking the ATP. But this is not happening in case of service order. So kindly suggest the reason and clarify my query. Thanks

Delta update for Cube : 0CRM_PRI - Service Orders and Confirmations: Item
Dear experts,
For Cube : 0CRM_PRI - Service Orders and Confirmations: Item
Source data is from Two ODS
1. Confirmations (Item Data) : 0CRM_CNFI and
2. Service Orders: Item Data : 0CRM_PROI
I have done Init upload to this cube from both this ODS.
I am not getting delta option to this.
When I am trying update Delta after init from ODS message is No new deltas in DataStore object 0CRM_PROI for update. No delta option available . It is showing Initial and Full Update option only.
How i can initiate delta option for this Cube ? Please update us.

you can use DTP's to laod data from ODS to cube .. it will take deltas ..

In full mode, the entire dataset of the source is transferred to the target; in delta mode, only the data that was posted to the source since the last data transfer is transferred. The data transfer process controls delta handling and therefore allows you to fill several targets with different deltas from one source. With a data transfer process, you do not need to explicitly initialize the delta method as you do when copying data with an InfoPackage.
or you can create a sepeate Ip for delta apart form full and init .. that will laod delat data in cube ..

Mass creation of Service orders for a Field Action

Is there a way to mass create service orders for a service action. Basically we have a part that we want to update in the
field that is not part of an IBASE record. We would like to replicate an exact service order, one time, for each of our
customers. This is something that is done on a fairly regular basis. To avoid errors in manual entry, I was wondering if
this is a method to deal with this in CRM? I have seen this done with CATT in ECC.

I tried using LSMW to create service orders, but I found out from SAP that batch Input is not a supported channel to load business data into the CRM system anymore! So can anyone suggest me a better way to mass create service orders?
I have tried using eCATT as well and this didn't work. I have created one service order (template) for each of the customers and whenever I need to edit these service orders (ex. with a new product), I want to be able to do this automatically by using the list of service order templates and the new product. Will a BDC work or can I use a BAPI to do this? Any suggestion/tips will be highly appreciated. I want to be able to copy the template to a new service order and then be able to add a new line item for the product, this should be repeated for all the service order templates.

SERVICE ORDER for SALES ORDER quantity
Hi gurus,
i have the next problem.
I have a sales order item that trigger a service order (CS). The problem is when i enter quantity 10 in sales order.
It appear this message:
"Due to technical reasons, you can only create one service order for a sales order item at the moment in service processing."
Can I do a sales order with quantity 10 pieces and the service order with 10.????
It's possible to customize that funtionality??

my requirement is to raise Purchase order for KIT item.For Example--
For 1 Kit item A, including 1 table and 4 chairs. Define components (table and chair) for item A by using Bills of Material screen. In Order Management, when user orders 100 item A, system will generate automatically 100 tables and 400 chairs and Ship to customer. Item A does not have Onhand, only its components have Onhand.
will the oracle purchasing support this KIT purchase concept.

I'm thinking that your requisition from OM will be automatically converted to internal requisition for 100 tables and 400 chairs, based on your setup.
Would you still need to have 'KIT' setup in procurement?
The other thing I can think of is, you can use Requisition Templates to help in ordering items on a repetitive basis.

How to create production order for multiple items having common raw materia
Dear all,
We are running a sheet metal fabrication company at Vadodara Gujrat.
Please guide us how to create single production order for multiple items using single raw material??
For example, We want to produce baby shirt(item code AAA001), shirt with full sleeve(item code AAA002), shirt with half sleeve(item code AAA003),shirt slim fit (item code AAA004),shirt loose fit(item code AAA005) from single raw material say(item code XXX001).
Right now we have to create 5 production order to produce above 5 items of single sales order in SAP B1 though it is made from single raw material which is foolishness and time consuming too. (Please also note that to produce any finfish good item, raw material required for that item may vary every time in our process.)
Kindly guide us how to solve the problem.

This is possible through MRP for that you have to put Sales Order first and Run MRP Wizard
MRP Wizard Put Multi Production Order as per Item Taking in Sales Order just click it on and execute.

Planned order for MPS items can be unfirmed in MRP plan
Hi All,
I'm using SCP functionality (not ASCP) in MRP module. I run a global MPS first and then use it as supply schedule to drive mrp plans. I noticed that some planned orders (for MPS items) loaded into MRP from MPS can be unfirmed in MRP and I can enter new quantity and new date for them, whereas other planned orders for MPS cannot be unfirmed.
What is the logic behind it? How to control it?

I don't think that there should be any issue due to the planned order created in the system against the PIR for the next month ....& it will not lead to improper planing even if the demand changes still we are not going for the firmed planned order....... if the PIR changes during the next MRP run then it will adjust the planned order accordingly .....
Still you want to restrict the planning to the current month then the simplest way that I can think of is planning horizon....

How do we do production orders for same item code in different sizes
Hi,
We have Items which we buy as a single sheet of material and our customers can ask for us to cut the complete sheet into different sizes before despatching it. i.e
Item Code Sheet1: Sheet size 100mm x 100mm
Customer asks for sheet to be cut into 10 off 10mm x 10mm sheets, which we presently put on the sales order as a line note
We then generate a production order for this item and indicate on the production order printout the line note
We've recently had a customer who has asked for Item 1 in two different sizes on the same sales order ie
Order Line 1 Sheet1 Qty:1 Line note: cut into 10mm x 10mm sheets
Order Line 2 Sheet1 Qty:1 Line note: cut into 50mm x 50mm sheets
When generating the Production order SAP combines the items into
Product No: Sheet1
Planned Qty: 2
Where as we want it to create 2 production orders 1 of each different sizes items.
I know I can create BOMs for those two sizes, but customers can ask for the sheets to be cut to whatever size they want. Is the best method to create BOMs on the fly for each different sizing option or are there alternative methods that are easier to manage ?

You have to creat 2 special production order for this item. when issue the component make sure you issue the stock as per the cosumption becaue one have 10mmx10mm and the another item have 50x50 in this case you issue component by square inch wise. for example 10*10 = 100 squre inch.
50*50 = 2500 square inch so the cost will be approtionate. you can Use multiple uom method to obtain this, other wise you have covert into stock then you issue the component. If you want traxk size wise ,you can use batch option for Finishe goods.

MD04 Does not show Service orders for owned equipment

Is there a way to make MD04 - Material Stock Requirements List, to show a particular type service order? Our loaner equipment is owned by us and goes through Repair after it comes back from a customer. We create service orders for those materials and when running MD04 we would like to see those service orders as supplies.

SergiyUnfortunately, third party purchase orders have nothing to do with my issue. My case is service orders, repair orders for the materials we own. MD04 shows requirements as these loaners are going out to customers on customer repair orders. When they get back they get repaired and put back into our own stock and then shipped to another customer on a loaner program. If the service order is scheduled to be completed we would like to know how many are coming back into stock and make decisions based on requirements in MD04. Therefore, I would like to have MD04 show those service orders as supplies.

Copy Control Issue- Service Order to Service Confirmation for Sales Items
Hello All,
I have a scenario where in my service order, I am entering both items Sales Relevant Items and Service Relevant Items(screen shot of the service order attached)
The Service Order gets saved, now when I am creating the service confirmation as a follow up document to the Service Order, I am getting the below error for the sales relevant item
Since I have not maintained copy control settings for my sales relevant item in my service confirmation I am getting the above error when copying, the reason for me not maintaining the copy control settings is that the sales relevant item is not required for the service confirmation, what steps do I need to perform so that my sales relevant item does not get carried to the service confirmation transaction type
