  • BAPI_PO_Create with reference purchase requisition

Can someone help with the BAPI_PO_Create with reference to a purchase requisition step by step procedures?
Any kind of assistance will be appreciated
    Thank you

    Hi
BAPI_PO_CREATE is an old BAPI, you can try using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 -
Function module BAPI_PO_CREATE1 enables you to create purchase orders. The BAPI uses the technology behind the Enjoy purchase order transaction (ME21N).
Alternatively, the IDoc type PORDCR1 is available. The data from this IDoc automatically populates the interface parameters of the function module BAPI_PO_CREATE1.
in SAP please use Transaction BAPI for details & example.
in BAPI -Materials Management -> Purchasing -> PurchaseOrder -> CreateFromData1  or CreateFromData
Checkout the documentation of the BAPI, it will have all the details with example.
For testing the BAPI goto SE37 -> Enter the FM name BAPI_PO_CREATE1 & click on test poulate the fields as specified in the example & check the results.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Contract with reference to purchase requisition

    Hi!
I have this situation: I want to creat a contract with reference to a purchase requisition and I'd want to divide the quantity of the purchase requisition. For exemple: I created a purchase requisition with 100 quantity. Now I'd like to creat a contract with 50 e another contract with 50. After that the system should block the creation of the contract with this requisition, becouse the full quantity is complitly requirid. I activated message 06053 but in this case I can use the purchase requisition only one time (whithout divide the quantity of the purchase requisition). I already put the message 06 076, but it works only for PO, a need it for contracts. As Vijay told me I put messages 06078 and 06099, but it didn´t work out.
    Regards,

    Hi
With reference to PR, if u creating contract, if the PR quantity completly converted to contract then it will throw the error message " Materials of requisition XXXXXXX item 00010 alr. ordered in full"

  • How to create a Contract with reference to a Sales-Order(VA01) with a BAPI

    Hi,
my name is Wadim and i need help.
    My problem:
    I am creating a sales-order(VA01) with the BAPI 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2'.
After that i have to create a contract(VA41) with reference to this order. I found the BAPI "BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA" and it has the same interfaceparameters like the salesorder-bapi. but there are no parameters to get a connection to the sales-order.
Is it even possible to get a connection to a sales-order with a bapi???
    thanks for help
    regards mark

    Hi Wadim,
I have a similar requirement to create order lines in an existing contract with reference using  BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE.  The order lines get created in the contract. However, the condition types from the order line which i'm referencing are not getting referenced and are not getting added in the Contract's line after referencing.
Did you come across any such issue ? If yes , could you suggest the solution ?
    Regards,
    Venkat.

  • One Purchase Contract from Several Purchase Requisitions

    Hi Experts,
I have a problem, I want to make one purchase contract from several purchase requisitions. Here, some of PR's are of same material and some PR belong to different material. What we want that same Material should be clubbed together in one line and diffrenent material code should come in diffrent line.
    Regards
    GR

    Gi,
if you are creating the contract manually and still want to see the PRs used.
then i suggest you to maintain the detauils in the texts which are not used for printing and could be used for information purpose.
one thing that this is manualy created so PR in system will not show the assigned and will remain open.

  • Create Contract with Reference

    Hi Experts,
We have created some customer contracts with reference to already existing contracts few days back.
Now, we need to know the reference contracts that we have used to create those contracts.
Is there any way wherein we can find out the reference contracts??
    Thanks and Regards,
    Harsh Gupta.

    Hi
IN VBAK table there is field called as REFERENCE DOCUMENT there you can get detials like with reference to which document the contract is created
This will work only when you do setting in COPY control
    VTAA
Select target document and source document
    ITEMS
    Select your Item category
    Details
Update document flow should be X
hope this will work for you
this is working fine with me

  • Creating Central Contract using Reference Purchasing Org

    Hi,
We are using two type of purchasing organization:
a.Global Purchasing Organization - It is not assigned to any company code or plant.
b.Country Purchasing organization u2013 It is assigned to Global Purchasing Organization. This cross-plant country specific purchasing organization is to procure materials for several plants independent to a company code. We have assigned the purchasing organization to the plant and not to a specific company code.
Global purchasing organization has been setup a reference purchasing organization to be able to create central contracts that is independent of company code and plant.
However whenever we create the central contract using the reference purchasing organization, the system will not proceed unless we define a company code. Please let me know how we can avoid the Pop up message u201CThe Purchasing organization XXXX has not been assigned to a company code. Please enter a company code.u201D
Please note that neither Global nor Country purchasing organization is assigned to company code. The company code will be determined only from Plant.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    AG

    Hi.
In your case, both the Purchase organizations ( Global Purchase Organization & Country Purchase Organization ) are not assigned to the company code. But Country Purchase Organization is assigned to the plants from the different company codes and Global Purchase Organization is not assigned to any plant also.
In this case, If you are creating central contract with the Global Purchase Organization , you will get error. Becuase Global Purchase Organization is not assigned to any company code or plant.
If you are creating central contract with the Country Purchase Organization, system will allow. Because this purchase organization is assigned to the plants from the different company codes. Based on this plant, system will identify company code.
So, conclusion is Purchase organization is must be assgined to the plants. This setting is mandatory in order to indentify company code which is giving in the Purchase document. But the assignment of company code to the purchase organization is optional.
So, assign plants to the Global Purchase Organization and try to create central contracts. It will work.

  • GTM Contract with Reference

    Hi All
We're trying to automate the GTM process using BAPI's to create the Trade Contracts, and the follow on documents.
Manually, everything works fine. We can create the Trade Contract using the BAPI as well.
The issue we've got is when we try to create a GTM Trade Contract referencing a Pre Contract. The BAPI doesn't appear to cover this requirement.
This may be the wrong forum for this post, but I'm trying my luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

  • Problems with a purchase requisition interface via SAP XI

    Hello.
We are integrating the purchase requisition from external aplication to SAP through SAP XI. SAP XI send a IDOC to SAP R3 to create the purchase document. The conection is made with rfc conection which has set the comunication user and logon language. The purchase requisition is created with the logon language and if the material has not short text in this language in material master the error ME095 is generated.
I don't understand this error because in the interface we set the PR short text which is posible to change. Also, we have set this system message like warning in T160M.
We don't find any way to skip this message and we think if the interface allow to set a short text in the PR it's the same that the material master isn't updated with the short text in logon language.
    Thank you very much.
    Alberto

    Hi.
I don't want to change the short text in Material Master. I only want to change this short description in PR, but if I don't mantain the short description in material master the error ME095 is generated. I need to be able to create a PR independent of logon language.
    Thank you for your answer.

  • Create Contract with reference to SC in SRM 7.0

    Hi Experts,
We use SRM 7.0, ECS scenario.
Is that possible to add a new item with reference to SC in contract maintanence screen? Just like adding a new item 'from an old sc' in PO maintanenc screen.
Is there any configuration related about it? Or is it related with patch levels?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Masa,
The problem is caused by patch level. After applied note1334803 we fixed the problem.
Thanks all the same and I'll forward the point to you:)

  • How to link Idoc generated with the Purchase requisition?

    Hi All,
I have created a program wherein idocs are generated. Its gives rise to Purchase requisition.
Can you please tell me how to show the PR created against the idocs that are generated in the spool list?
Please note the function module creating the idocs does not return the PR no. generated.
Any alternate solution to this is welcome.

  • Problems with Framework Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order Process

Am in a 4.7 environment, and have configured the FO PR document type with FOB as the document screen default settings.  When I try to use ME59/ME59N to take to FO PO type, I get an error message that I have to have a Validity Start date.  I can see that this is a required default setting in the FO PO Document Type, but am unable to locate same in the FO PR configuration.  Any ideas would be appreciated!

    Hi
These fields are not there in the PR, Validity dates are not applicable to PR , they are applicable only to PO as these are used for controlling the PO.
You amy have to use some derivation rule to determine the Validity Start date and end date for PO conversion process. by using any of the user exits/ BAdi to default data in PO screesn like ME_PO_PROCESS_CUST
    Thanks & Regards

  • Best Practice while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order

    Hi
What is the best practice with respect to Contract & Purchase Requisition?
IN T Code ME31K, there is a button Reference to PReq, meaning that we can create contract with using Purchase Requisition. (We have done the same)
While creating the Purchase Order using Contract, we could find Purchase Requisition reference in the Purchase Order; similarly when we created the Purchase Order using Purchase Requisition, we could find Contract reference in the Purchase Order.
    I have done the following:
    1. Create a Contract.
    2. Create a Purchase Requisition
    3. Assign Requisition and Create Purchase Order using T Code ME57.
    4. Create Purchase Order
Here in this case we could find references of both Contract & Purchase Requisition.
I just want to know what Practice should we adopt / advise while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition. & Purchase Order?
    Regards,

    Hi,
In ME51N Screen, enter Contract number in the "AGREEMENT" TAB and if more items in the contract, you can mention the item number in the next TAB to the AGREEMENT TAB and then proceed with creating PR by entering other details. This TAB you can find in the 4th column from extreme right end of PR screen.
