Controlling the W and H of a pop up?

I am linking a graphic to an HTML window that has an image in it and I want to control the size of the html window that opens. IT is currently set in the Property Inspector to _blank though I do not see options for controlling the W an H. Where are these options?

I try to resolve the issue and eventually a message pops up saying it could not be completed because it could not find the sync server. This started after one of the updates a couple of months ago. What model HP printer do you have?
ePrint is a very simple system when it comes to printing, because it doesn't provide as many controls as one may be used to with a computer. Many of the photosmart printers are designed to recognize a photo in ePrint and print the image to the proper photo paper.

Can I control the in and out point of a layer with a keyframe?

Hi all, I'm working in a sort of template for a series of mograph videos. Some sort of motion typography work.
The animation is always the same but the only thing that changes is the length of the video (for legibility purposes).
I was wondering if I can control the in and out points of a layer with the keyframes from another layer.
Lets say Layer's A keyframe from slider 1 position in time is the out point (plus/minus an offset would be also great) of layer B.
I've been playing with expressions on a regular basis but I don't really know where and how to write an expression like that or if it's possible.

I'm not sure I understood the details of your project but here's a basis: you can do that with an expression in the layer's time remapping property. So if you want a layer to start playing at the second keyframe on another layer, you can try something like (writing in my browser, watch for mistakes):

Controlling the menubar and toolbar in Dynamic tab shell.

I am using the Dynamic tab shell template in my application, and will load the page fragments (in a new tab) in the adf region embeded in the shell page as and when required. I have defined the 'menu bar' and the 'toolbar' with their items in the 'globalToolbar' facet of the template hence they are rendered in all the pages. My requirement is that I want to control the 'toobar' and 'menubar' from the page(fragment) I am in. That means, I want to 'enable/disable', 'show/hide' the menu items/toolbar items depending on the page fragment I have loaded. Is there a way to achieve this?

Is it possible to control the lights and sounds/do sound ir light checks from backstage via my iPad? Ive seen it done, but dont know how to do it. Is it just an apo?

It would have to be an app, but it would be hard here to guess which one. They may be using a remote control app (such as Splashtop Remote Desktop) to control another computer that is controlling the lights and sounds, or they may have a dedicated app that goes right into their system. You'd have to ask them - or do a search in the App Store, or perhaps do a search for "iPad Theater technical system" or something like that.

My remote controls the TV and my laptop

When I have my laptop in the room while I'm using Apple TV, the remote control controls both the computer and the TV. Front Row pops up in full screen mode. How can I make disable the remote on the laptop or better yet, sync the remote with the TV.

Had the same problem with one of my laptops and the TV... I ended up going into the Applications section, the utilities, system preferences, and the library sections of the computer and deleting EVERYTHING that said Front Row.
I know it's a bit of an extreme but it did seem to do the trick. Unfortunately I noticed the IR port in the front of the computer after I had done all that. Suppose it would have been easier to just put some tape or white out over it instead. Oh well....

I have started a new project where I have to control the valves operation through Labview 2009,using PXI 1031, NI 5105(Digitizer) and NI 6251(M-series DAQ).
The valves I need to control using the labview are:
a) Pressure Reducing Valve (open & close)
b) Remote control Valve(On & Off) with in-built actuator
c) Flow control valve(open, semi open, partially open, semi close, partially close, fully close), 1%, 2%, 3%..etc
d)saftey valve (opening closing depending on increase in pressure from certian limit)

a) Hydraulic pump operation with in built gear-box
Please let me know, how should l develop the VI for all? How to get started?, any helpful links? If there is any example code?

If you are not familiar with LV, I would suggest you go through the tutorials. Then take the leap and figure out how to use Action Engines and State Machines (search any of the terms I used that don't understand, there are a zillion threads on them).
Then...
Sit down and write stand-alone testers for each of the widgets you are going to control monitor etc.
These testers will give you an idea if they really work the way you think, their character, and will serve as a "Sanity Check" when you think you are going crazy durring development.
THen integrate the tester so they can all work at the same time. This will become a utility screen that will serve you well when maintaining the critter latter in its life.
Only then...
write out a complete set of state diagrams that describe what you plan to do (don't cheat! ) and walk through them in your head until you are cetain it will all work blah blah blah.
This step is optional but highly recomened...
Compose a detailed set of documemtns describing what you have in mind and post them here (include the images, they will get many mor readers) and let people pick aprat your design.
When you have a final design, use everything you learned along the way to be a kick-ass developer.
Along the way post distinct well defined question on this site and as long as it looks like you are trying someone will probably reply and get you going again.

HT201250 i was trying to manually erase files from my macbook air. at one point, my system preferences disappeared from the dock and i had a pop up message telling me the application was 'incomplete'. I tried to reinstall iLife but i wont work.

I used the small key that comes with the air but it doesn't seem to be doing much. Am i supposed to be reinstalling OS X or iLife? I tried OS X and I didn't see much difference except for the return of my system preferences and safari which had initially disappeared, but I'm still missing the App Store and iPhoto. I can't reinstall iLife either.

Try a few things: 1) restart in safe mode (restart holding the shift key) and this will repair the drive (if need be) and trim/delete cache files. Restart normally.
2) if you use iPhoto or Aperture launch the program and then empty the trash folder of the program(s). Launch your Mail program and check out how much is in the Trash and Archive folders. You can delete the really old stuff if there is any.
3) Download omniDiskSweeper (free) to see what's on your drive. Be careful about deleting anything that isn't in your personal drive space and be very careful about deleting anything in the Library folder.

HT4623 the update is not working, my phone starts the update and then an error pops up

the error is (29) and i've done all the updates i can and still my phone will not update. my phone has been offline for about 12 hours and this is ridiculous. it's terrible to push the update on the phone and then the phone says to connect to itunes and then it doesn't work. i need a help ASAP

Changing the height and width of a pop-up

I've run in to this script that sets these variables for the pop-up. Can someone please point me in the righ direction as to how to modify these variables? I've tried changing them and inserting a width and height in pixels, but the size does not change. I wish I had more time for Jave, but I've been spending most of my time with VB and asp.net. Trying to Install Itunes to a new Desktop Computer so I can Sync My Library back in. It goes into a Loop when I Enter Run. I have added itunes.com to Safe websites and that did n't work now I havw Turnedd OFF all Pop-up Blockers and it still will not work! I own an iPad 2 & an iPhone 4S so I need to get my iTunes back!!
