Conversion of organizations to contact persons in the segmentation model
Hi Folks,
I want to do Conversion of organizations to contact persons in the segmentation model.But I don't see context menu of the target group in graphical modeling which is Follow Up Convert Organizations to Contact Persons.Can you guys suggest how should I make this option available in graphical modeller?

the function should be available with activating CRM_MKT_HVS business function. Please refer to the sap.help:

The function should be available within the following structure:

Contact person is only significant for Bid Invitations.
For Bid Invitations, you don't have a Vendor but a Bidder with one or several Contacts Persons.
So, when you are in BBP_BID_INV transaction, when you look for bidders to link to your bid invitation, you will find their contacts: this is standard process.
In SAP GUI transaction BP, you will see bidder contacts if customizing done to use BBP_VENDOR_SYNC report to replicate vendors is correctly maintained.

We are configuring SRM7.0 with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario.
I'm testing the RFx scenarion ...but currently Mail serever (SMTP) is not configured ...so can not test end-to-end scenarion..like actual...so set the checkbox 'Permit Surrogate Bidding" in BP master of Bidder
1) Can anyone please confirm me, whether "Contact Person" of the Bidder is ALWAYS REQUIERED for submitting the RFx Response by Bidder ? Just Bidder can not submit the RFx Response ...(What my thought is ...its req only in case of Surrogate Bidding ?)
2) Without Surrogate Bidding , can I submit the RFx Response by login as a Bidder (or Bidders Contact Person..SU01 id is created when Contact person created....) ...in the Bidding Engine and access the published bid ?....I tried the below URL from the RFx Notification..but once click on the URL, system gives error "Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible." ....

Error while creating the Contact Person in the BP Master Data
Dear Experts,
I encountered the following error while updating the contact person name either while creating new or editing existing customer.
Error - [Contact Persons - Contact Persons name][Line 1],'This entry already exists in the following tables 'Contact Persons' (OCPR) (ODBC - 2035)' [Message 131-183].Dear Experts,
I am not doing a DTW for the same, i am updating the BP Master manually. It has been a recent occurence since 3 days when the customer is trying to update the contact person the following error throws. I tried updating for the existing customers with no contact person, there in also it throwed the same error.
To bring to your notice i had a test database for the same customer where in i encounter no issues with regard to the contact person update.

I have an I phone 4s and I have many contacts in my phone. However, when my phone rings or I receive a message. The phone does not show the name of the caller. It only shows the phone number that is calling. I am sure this is a setting problem, but I have checked every setting I can think of. Any suggestions??
If you are a Verizon user try this:
Open the phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating "Settings updated."
Double tap the Home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom. Locate the Phone, Message, and Contacts apps, swiping if necessary, and press and hold until they jiggle then press the red minus sign to stop them.
Wait a 3-5 minutes.
Try your phone again and see if it's fixed. -
Notifications not going to the contact person
Hello Friends,
Scenario - When i create an RFI Customer activity in a CSR and set its status to 'Requested Customer'', a notification (more information is required) goes to the contact person and the team lead of CRO (Customer Responsible Organization). If the customer does not reply for 3 days (in case of a High Severity CSR) or 7 days (in case of severities other than High), then reminder notifications (more information required - reminder) get triggered which go to the contact person and the team leads of CRO.
Problem - In the first case,the notification (more information is required) goes to the contact person and the team lead of CRO (Customer Responsible Organization) where as in the second case, the reminder notifications do not go to the contact person, but they go to the team leads of CRO.
Analysis - There are 2 workflows that get triggered when the RFI Customer activity in a CSR and set its status to 'Requested Customer''. The first one sends the notification (more information is required) to the contact person and team leads of CRO immediately. The other workflow checks whether the customer has replied for 3 days (in case of a High Severity CSR) or 7 days (in case of severities other than High), and then sends the notification to the contact person and team leads of the CRO. I have checked the bindings, tasks, receiver rules and the methods in both these workflows. They are exactly similar. The only difference in these workflows is the wait step added in the second workflow.
Do you have any clue as to what is the reason behind the second workflow not sending the notifications to the contact person ?

Question -->Is a mail being sent to the same email address in both workflows with SendMail, and only working in one of them?
Answer --> Yes
Question -->There must be some other difference other than the wait step.
Answer --> The difference between the 2 workflows is mentioned step by step as below -
Workflow for which the notifications are sent to the contact person and team lead of CRO
Step 1 --> Condition step whether the email address exists or not.
If No --> Sends a mail to the LDA (Local Database Administrator) to maintain the email address of the contact person
If Yes --> Goto Step 2
Step 2 --> Condition step whether the Severity of the CSR is High or not
If Yes --> Send step (to send the email notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)
If No --> Send step (to send the email notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)
Workflow for which the notifications are not sent to the contact person and team lead of CRO
Step 1 --> Condition step whether the email address exists or not.
If No --> Sends a mail to the LDA (Local Database Administrator) to maintain the email address of the contact person
If Yes --> Goto Step 2
Step 2 --> Condition step whether the Severity of the CSR is High or not
If High - Wait Step (waits for 3 days before sending the notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)

Step 3 --> Condition step to check the CSR Status (to check whether the customer has replied or not)
If Yes(customer replied) --> End workflow
If No (customer has not replied)--> Send step (to send the email notifications to the contact person and team lead of CRO)
Question -->How have you implemented the wait step? Does it fetch the address before or after the wait?
Answer --> The email address is fetched at the very first step.
Question -->What happens if you make a test workflow with just the Sendmail step and send to the same address?
Answer --> The notification goes to the same email address.

All of a sudden, messages that I send and recieve from contact persons show the number instead of the name/ It happens to some of the contacts and when I open the list of messages to the person, the name show correctly above the list of the messages.
How do I overcome this?

More contact person items in the header data of a stanard order
Hi guys,
we want to create more than one contact person in the header data of a standard order
(for example contact person 1 --> 215, contact person 2 --> 216)
Transaction VA01 --> Goto --> Header --> Partner
It isn´t possible to create more entries with the same partner function.
I found the table VBPA2 instead of the table VBPA. Here it would be possible to enter more of the same contact person items.
How can I customize the function to enter more contact person items?

If you mean the flag "unique in cust. mast", this flag isn´t set in our case.

How can I delete the home address of the contact person
Hi Experts,
I want delete the home address of the contact persons in the ERP.
Which data and where can you found it:
In Tx xd02 in the general data of customer - register "contact person" and then button "home address".
There I want delete all fields. When I looked in F1 - technical information I don't get the information in which table the data are included. I know only the structure.
I think the general data of the contact person I have to look in the table knvk.
The private and the business email address I can find in the table ADR6.
In the table knvk there is a field "address number". I know when there is a number then the contact person has a home address and when this field is empty then for this contact person isn't maintain a home address.
Could I delete this field "address number" in the table knvk? Is then the home address automatically deleted?
I don't know how can I delete this field. Can anybody tell me how can I do this? I looked in the Tx xd99 this field isn't available there.
Or does anybody know how can I delete the home address of the contact persons on another way?

I am sorry, I forgot to say I don't want delete only one home address. Yes, you are right, then I could delete it manually.
But I want to delete all private addresses, so I should have a tool for mass deletion.
Does anybody know how can I do this?

Hi guys,
in the IMG I created a contact person for the travel expenses.
If the employee create a trip and save it, the contact person should receive a mail automatically.
The other way the employee receive a mail, if the his trip is incomplete.
A status mail every week would be great.

what I want to do is to use the functionality in the web ui, where you can build out of your target group (which includes organizational accounts) another target group (which includes the contact persons of the organizational accounts of the first target group). I think I almost figured it out, with the help of you, how this can achieved but please send me a reply to verify or correct my assumptions about the process.
1. In case I want to search for attributes of contact persons (who belong to an organization) I have to set up the following:
I used the standard infoset "CRM_MKTTG_BP_ORG" (BP: Contact persons relations of organization), created a Data source of this. I created an attribute list of this data source and I created the filter for the fields "BP category" (as value = organization) and filter "BP relationship category" ( as value = has contact person ).
SAP told me to create those two filters. I do not really get here why I have to set those two filters. I got the same results by using the combination 'has contact person AND organization AND filter X' or 'has contact person AND filter X' or 'organization AND filter X'. Please explain to me the differences!. Please explain to me the differences!!!!
My result is that I get all contact persons with this attribute I was searching for right? So am I right, that this option helps me to find all contact persons who belong to a certain attributes but NOT filters all organizations with a certain attribute and then gives me the associated list with contact persons for it?

3. I heard something as well about a segmentation basis. *How would I do the segmentation based on the segmentation basis?* Would I need t choose valid for Segment Member Relationships? What does this mean and how exactly would I need to build my segmentation basis? What result would I get?
I created two segmentation basis, one which only includes organizations and one which only includes persons. So in case I would choose "valid for Segment Member Relationships" and not "segmentation members" I would additionally to, lets say all organizations, get contacts which have the attributes of the profil I want to create?
But I cannot use "valid for Segment Member Relationships" if I want to have ONLY the contacts of organizations and persons right? It is nothing similar as the option with including the function module in the attribute set or info set and then I get the contacts based on a target group of organizations right?

Issue in Target Group creation of contact persons
Hi,
I am working on CRM 5.0. Using the segment builder creating target group to be attached to the campaign.
I have created one target group of organizations with Marketing attributes attached to these BPs.
Using this organizations target group as Master Group I am creating one more target group of contact persons of these organizations (using Contact persons relationship). The issue here is, out of these contact persons I require only those contact persons having interest in classical music. I have maintained this attribute in the BP master data of these contact persons.
While creating the target group of such contacts in segment builder I am using this attribute to filter the data but I am getting all the contacts without any filter applied. My requirement is to only get those contact persons (belonging to the master group of organizations) having interest in classical music. Can anyone suggest how to achieve this?

500 SAP Internal Server Error
Error msg - Inconsistancy between Dictionary Types COMT_BSP_BP_TEL_T AND BAPIADTEL (Type of Termination: RABAX_STATE)

Email Campaign Execution: Contact person Relationship
Hi All,
I created a target group which contains a list of Contact Persons. I am testing executing an email campaign against this target group.
This contact person also exists as a relationship to a prospect.
The email address maintained on the contact person master data may be different from the email address maintained on the relationship. Our end goal here is to execute the email campaing against the addresses maintained on the relationsip and not on the master data. When I execute the campaing, it sends the email out to the address maintained on the contact person master data. Do you know what I can do for it to pick up the email address maintained on the relationship? Is it standard CRM functionality for it to pick up the email address from the master data rather than the relationship?
Any comments/help on this would be greatly appreaciated.

How these contact persons are supposed to log in to a portal with different user id and passwords and access the bids for same supplier.
we are in SRM 7, and currently we are creating contact person throug customised BDC.
