Convert to PDF Buttons Missing In Outlook 2007

The company purchased me a new computer and I deactivated my old Acrobat and reactivated it on my new computer. On the old computer I had some "Convert to PDF" buttons in my tool bar for all of the Office Programs,  but not on the new one. Can anyone help me?

Are you on Vista?  I am seeing different things on Adobe.com talking about how v7 is not compatible with Vista.
I think I remember someone in the past also mentioning that v7 does not work with Office 2007, although we never had issues with that, when we were still on v7.

  • Convert PDF Button missing in Outlook 2010 *tried everything*

    Hello,
I have Office 2010 and Acrobat Pro X on Windows 7
I don't have the Adobe buttons in the ribbon in Outlook, (nor in other Office apllications, but that's ok). I can't right click on an email in Outlook and have it converted to PDF because I don't have this option.
    I tried everything:
I went to the Add Ins in Outlook, the AdobePDFMAker Com is not there.
I tried adding the dll (both the OfficeAddin and the PDFMOutlook dlls) Outlook 2010 tells me that they are not recognized Office AddIns.
I tried registering the DLLs (Both of them as well), only the OfficeAddin would be registered, the PDFMOutlook would give me an error.
I restarted, tried, and restarted again, nothing is working. I basically went through the possible steps on this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdfmaker-unavailable-office-2007-office.html
    No result.
If anyone can help, I would be quite quite grateful!
    Nino

  • ICloud Button Disappeared from Outlook 2007

I installed iCloud on my PC running Outlook 2007.  All was semi-ok with an Outlook calendar, iCloud calendar, and a merged calander.  Same thing with contacts.  Then a day or so later, my computer wouldn't restart unless I accepted a system restore.  Now I don't have have an iCloud button in Outlook, I have no contacts at all, and no appointments in my calendar.  Unfortunately, I don't backup my pst very often.  It's been about a year.  I've been using Outlook for about 12 years and have never had a problem, so I guess I became complacent.
I looked in deleted items, and iCloud didn't put anything there that I can see.
I can see my contacts at www.icloud.com, but I need them in Outlook.  I don't have an iCloud button in Outlook to press.  I went to control panel, programs, and did a repair installation on iCloud.  It didn't work.  How do I get my data back out of the cloud and into Outlook.  If I can just see them in Outlook, I know how to back them up in a way I can trust (vs Apple's way).
    Please help!

I am having a similar problem where as my Outlook 2007 connection with MobleMe and now ICloud is lost and when I try to pull up my contacts and calendars I get this message: "Set of folders cannot be opened.  The info store could not be opened."
Is this Outlook causing the problem? And what do I need to do to prevent this from happening, which is often.
    Thanks

  • PDF button missing

We recently installed OS X 10.4. I am using Quark 7. The PDF button is missing in the print dialogue box in all applications. I saw an older post but it is archived and I'm wondering if anyone has found an easy fix since then. I found a work-around to save as postscript file (which is what I want to do and the PDF button gives me that option in Quark) but it's extra steps. The other computers in my office with the same OS have the PDF buttons. There is an empty space where mine should be in the printer box. Help!! Please!!
    G4   Mac OS X (10.4)

    The mystery is solved.
I think I saw it in another thread, but whether it was here or the Quark forum or the Adobe forum, I can't say for sure - I cut and pasted the type onto a word document and proceeded from there...
If you are logged in as "root", the "PDF" button in Print dialog will dissappear. I logged out of "root" (System Administrator) and logged back in as a User and lo and behold, my PDF button returned. Hopefully this will be helpful for anyone else who has this problem.
Thanks for your reply. Now I can get back to work!!!

  • Icloud add-in is missing in outlook 2007

I installed icloud control panel on Windows 7 running Outlook 2007...The first time it synced by Contacts to iCloud.  After that,no more syncing. I checked for icloud add-in trust center..nothing.
I have uninstalled and installed icloud countless times...tried everything..
Contacts will sync the first time (causing more duplications), but after that...nothing.
I also have added constact to the icloud contacts (not regular contacts folder)...no sync..
I have called apple support...they listened but no help.
    icloud is worthless!?

I had this problem and have just now solved it. Here is what I did.
My system is Win 7 Ultimate with Outlook 2013 64 Bit.
    1. Unchecked the tick in front of "Mail, Contacts, Calenders and Tasks" in the iCloud Control Panel
    2. Signed out of the iCloud Control Panel
    3. Uninstalled the control panel
    4. Rebooted
    5. Access the "Mail" applet in the Windows 7 Control Panel
    6. Clicked the "Show Profiles" button
    7. Clicked on the "Add..." button and created a new profile
    8. I set this "New" profile as the default one by selecting "Always use this profile" and picking the new profile just created
    9. Downloaded the iCloud control panel and reinstalled it
    10. Let the iCloud Control Panel do its thing.
    11. Setup your me.com or icloud.com address when prompted
    12. Start up Outlook
    13. iCloud will start up and setup the Outlook System to work with iCloud
    14. Problem Solved
    15. Add all your other email accounts now

  • InfoPath 2010 "open form" button missing from Outlook 2010

When a few users recieve an infopath form... the file only shows up as an attachment. Other users have an "open form" button up near the subject of the email.
    What would cause this?
All users are using MS Office 2010

Infopath is installed on all the machines, and the button for "open form" is not there. The attachment is listed in the email and it opens in infopath if you double click on the attachment.
This option is fully functional for some of the users.

  • Cannot open pdf files in Outlook 2007

Yes, it does.  I tried to copy and save and open, same thing,  I tried to download to a memory stick and open, same thing.  It happens only with pdf files received over Outlook 2007, all other pfd files I can open

  • Outlook 2007 PDF preview on Windows Server 2003?

Simple question. Does the new (Reader 8.1) PDF Preview feature for Outlook 2007 work in Windows Server 2003? Or is it only for XP and Vista? The patch notes strongly suggest the latter, but in other places (such as a blog on this site) there are notes explicitly stating that the feature should work in server operating systems.
We happen to be running Citrix (PS4.5) on this server as well, but I'm not convinced that's material: the feature doesn't work running Outlook on the server's own console.
When I attempt to preview a PDF in Outlook 2007, I am told, "This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer: Adobe PDF Preview Handler".
Before I go much farther with troubleshooting this, can anyone confirm firsthand that PDF previewing works in Outlook 2007 on Server 2003?

I was using Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1.2 and Outlook 2007 on Server 2003 SP2 and the Adobe PDF Preview Handler worked.
Unfortunately, it stopped working after some time and I'm pretty sure I did not make any changes to the system. However, I did try to uninstall, reinstall and update Adobe Acrobat but still, it does not work.
Any ideas why this is happening how to resolve it?
    Many thanks.

  • Transfer iPhone contacts & calendars to brand new outlook 2007

Someone gave me an iPhone 3GS as a gift, I pressed the reset button and used outlook 2007 & itunes to sync my contacts & calendars.
Everything on my iPhone is fine.
My contacts & calendars in Outlook 2007 were accidentally in wrong orders by importing a backup file in pst format(Outlook Format).
For future synchronization ,I am afraid that my iPhone contacts & calendars will be in wrong orders due to the changes in Outlook 2007.
Can I transfer my iPhone contacts & calendars to a brand new outlook 2007 (without any data & resetting my outlook 2007)?
    If not,any other solutions?
The main reason of this discussion is to make my Outlook contacts & calendars in correct orders and my iPhone contacts & calendars will not be affected.
Hopefully I have a backup .pst file with correct data on my harddisk.
    Hope you guys can help.
    Thank you so much!

The Synchronization dons’ not affect the order of how information’s are displayed between outlook and iPhone IOS. It only affects the content of your contacts and calendars information’s.
However, if you want to synchronize to a brand new outlook (this mean new Mail profile), you should create a new mail profile to use with outlook. Always make a backup of your iPhone and outlook before you modify any settings.
To create a new profile, go to Mail setting in the Control Panel or Execute control mlcfg32.cpl from C:\Programs Files\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX from the Command Prompt to access Mail directly.
From here you can display the main profile which iTunes using to synchronize your information’s (Show Profiles… Button). This one called generally outlook, it is created automatically as you execute your outlook for the first time.
Then you have to create a new one using ADD button, as you finish choose Always use this profile then drop down the menu to select the new created profile.  Apply the new setting and restart your outlook.
Now you suppose to have the new profile of outlook, this let you synchronize your information with nonfactual content.
You can go back to the old profile by choosing it as the default one from Mail setting. Be careful not to synchronize with iTunes when the default profile is set to the old one.
Remark: in the Mail setting “mlcfg32.cpl “ if you choose the following option (Prompt for a profile to be used) then every time when you open outlook it will prompt you to select the profile that you need to work within, the problem that when iTunes want to synchronize your content it can’t select arbitrary on of theses profiles and this will dysfunction, so it is preferred that you select (Always use this profile) option.

  • Cannot use "convert to PDF" even though I'm subscribed

I am subscribed to Adobe PDF pack (I am correctly signed in using the right profile, and the subscription is showing in my account in the Adobe app).  When I click on the convert to PDF button in order to convert a Word file to PDF a query box appears asking whether I want to subscribe.  If I click cancel, and try the function again, the box reappears.  If I choose the other option which is "confirm", I get a message saying that I have a current subscription set to auto renew.  I click ok but the query box doesn't go away.  If I click cancel, the function button still cannot be used - I just keep getting the same query box.  I am using an iPad Air ver 7.0.4.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for trying to help but your instructions do not work.  I signed out, then signed back in.  I then clicked on a document (.doc) to convert.  I clicked the convert button (second from the top right).  A box appears titled "convert to PDF".  It has a "cancel" link at the top right.  If I click that, I can go no further and the box reappears.  If I click subscribe, it asks me to subscribe, which I already have.  If I click cancel, nothing happens - the subscription box stays.  If I click confirm subscribe and enter my Apple Store details, the box stays.  If I then click cancel to get rid of the box and then click convert, the subscribe box reappears.

    Hi Wolfram,
There is no easy way to take an ideas file directly into Photoshop. You can import ideas projects into Illustrator CC though, that might be a better process for you? Support for Ideas projects are built into Illustrator CC.

  • Outlook 2007/Adobe 9 Converting Folders to PDF

I have converted several email folders in Outlook 2007 to PDF so that I can delete the folders from my outlook but have them saved in client folders.  When I try to access these saved pdf emails on my computer, I get the error message that "There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be found." But when I go to someone else's computer, they file opens just fine.  I need to be able to access these on my computer. Can someone please help me? (I do not want responses telling me you don't have a button in Outlook to convert to pdf please. I cannot help you with that and obviously you cannot help me.)

The Save and Save As save to the current version. To save to an earlier version you must use either Reduce File Size or the PDF Optimizer. Be careful about the job.settings file you use in such a case and the possibility of fonts being removed that you want embedded (font tab in PDF Optimizer). Both of these have settings to select for version. I am not sure about the extra settings with the Reduce File Size, so you will have to check the fast web view with a sample.

  • Acrobat 9 / Outlook 2007 - Convert  Mail Folder to PDF Crashes Outlook

    Procedure:
Opened Outlook 2007, selected email folder, right clicked email folder, selected from menu: Convert "folder" to Adobe PDF, selected save
    Problem:
After many successful such folder conversions, one email folder in particular caused Outlook 2007 to crash when half way through conversion
    Solution:
Finally, upon about the 7th attempt, I noticed Outlook crashed when attempting to convert one particular email file (within the folder)
The name of the offending email file was visible during the conversion process
I reopened Outlook, examined the offending email and discovered it contained Japanese characters in the attachments
I then deleted the offending email and recommenced the procedure
All ran smoothly as per normal, Problem Solved!
I hope this helps somebody out there

I searched everywhere on the web for a solution and came up with nothing - so when I finally worked it out (simple in hindsight) I just had to make the post (my very 1st!).

  • PDF Maker icons ("Acrobat (8 Pro) ribbon") missing Outlook 2007 Win XP

Hi. I have Acrobat 8 Pro and Outlook 2007 (not Outlook Express) on Win XP patched current, and the PDF Maker icons ("Acrobat ribbon") is missing from my Outlook Mail window.
Acrobat Create PDF is in the Menu in Word 2007 and works fine there.
I have followed all the instructions in
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403561.html
    and all in
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/401/kb401734.html
except Acrobat Repair or re-installing Acrobat (or Registry edit which is clearly not called for as the dll is already Active), and still no joy. I have verified that PDFMOutlook.dll is in the Active list in Trust Center (and of course therefore it is not disabled) in my Outlook. Still, it fails to appear in my drop-list of Toolbars, therefore I cannot fix the problem myself because the standard answer (choose that Toolbar) is not available on my workstation.
====> Do you recommend un-installing and re-installing? If yes, are you saying there is no risk I will make matters worse? Is there instead some way for me to determine what is actually wrong?
    Thanks for any help.
    Jim

Tried from another computer with XP and 8 Pro still didn't work so tried from a Win7 machine with adobe X standard and it worked everytime.  Just ordered the upgrade because their time is more valuable than the cost.
    Thanks
