COPA exit COPA0007 for external data transfer

Hello all,
Have anyone already used COPA0007 Enhancement?
Is ther any customizing that is needed in order to SAP stop execution with a break-point in the FM's associated.
I'm trying to change data in external data transfer and I can not stop execution when running T-CODE KEFC.

CO-PA External Data Transfer (KEFC)

Hello,
I am using KEFC t-code for external data transfer into CO-PA. The company code currency is activated at Operating Concern level.
So, KEFC is creating two records 1) record in USD 2) record in EUR (company code currency).
I am not able to figure out what exchange rate type it is using during the conversion.
Any ideas.

Any info about EDT (External Data transfer)

I am working in insurance module of SAP. There is a business object called Business Partner which we need to migrate from legacy to R/3.
Now for migration of Business partner generally LSMW is not used. People here use EDT (External data transfer).
Does some one know about EDT as data transfer tools ?

Error in KEFC transaction - External Data Transfer

I am getting this error while using external data transfer function using KEFC.
Plan version is not supported -> check your entry
Message no. KG 029
Diagnosis
Plan version"xx" has not been created in operating concern"xxxx"
Procedure
Transfer version"xx" to operating concern"xxxx" and maintain the attributes for that version.
I have checked plan version settings. It has been created for operating concern as well. I am not sure how to resolve this. Any suggestion or help would be appreciated.

Please check whether you defined a constant value for characteristic VERSI (Version) in the transfer rules for your sender structure. If you don't want to define a constant value there you have to assign a field from your external structure and fill the version in your external file. In this case please consider to fill the field in the following format '1 ' for version 1 (don't use '001').
Please refer and implement note 576807 in your system if it is in your system . Also refer note 508273 for a possible list of problems in external data transfer.

External data transfer into CO - Profitabilty Analysis tables

Gurus, Sending this again as the earlier one was not answered. Please give us some insight ASAP.
We are implementing the custom allocations to CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) records externally and trying to post close to million records into CO-PA table CE1xxxx. What is the most efficient method should be used for the posting of the externally created records into CO-PA table. Transaction KE21 is used for one entry at a time. We need to perform the mass data transfer. We also checked the BAPI BAPI_COPAACTUALS_POSTCOSTDATA. It clearly says that it is not for mass data transfer. Also, it updates the CE4xxxx table only. We need the data posted to CE1xxxx table. Any ideas!!!
There is a transaction KEFC - External data transfer to CO-PA. Has anyone used it? Please provide your insight on this transfer method.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

We use KEFC on a regular basis to upload actual sales data to PA from a third system.
An upload file is created in Excel, saved as a TXT file. The structure of that excel file is equal to the structure defined in customizing: define data interface to find the structure and: define structure of external data transfer to see the respective values of the columns you need in your excel file.

FCHX - External data transfer file format

FCHX - External data transfer creates a one line row of AP checks. I need to convert this flat file to bank format specifications. I have a program to do this. My problem is how do I convert the one line row into multiple line rows so I can use this in my conversion program.

What for you have created structure? is it for BP or IO or CA?
These are the Std structures provided by SAP for loading master data:
rkct994 - BCA Insurance SENDER
rkct995 - Insurance Object
rkct996 - Contract Data
rkct997 - Partner Data SENDER
All these structures contains AKTYP field in it.
Can you post more details.

I bought a new iMac today. I'm using migration assistant to move all my software, but the time just keeps getting longer. It says connect an Ethernet cable for faster data transfer. I did, but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

External data Transfer - Loan Module (t.code - KCLJ)

I have upload the loan source data through t.code KCLJ. and it showing me External data transfer completed with return code: 4. there is no error but no loan is created in server and also tables is not updated. is there any further step to update a loan transaction through EDT. i read SAP documentation here it's show that data saved in data pool. Please tell me what's the next step to update the loan data.

Upgradation issue 4.6C to 4.7 for DP90-Data transfer module not allowed

Hi All.
We have a issue in upgradation project form 4.6C to 4.7.
Process we follow is Contract,Notification,Service order,Debit memo request.
While doing DP90 for service order we are facing a error as <b>Data transfer module is not allowed</b>
Afetr this system gives you only option to EXIT.
In the log display we get following message :
Data transfer module is not allowed
Message no. V1247
Diagnosis
A wrong data transfer module was entered in Customizing for copying control. When you enter a sales order with reference to a quotation, you cannot copy header data from an invoice, for example. The module number is 306.
System Response
Processing is terminated.
Procedure
Check the copying control for your transaction in Customizing or contact your system administrator.
Any idea how to deal with this

There is a standard SAP program: SDTXT1AID. Start it, and the upper section you can find your incomplete parameters. Sign your relevant parameters (or all) and F8
(not test case).

Exit/Enhancement for External Send

Hi all,
I have a requirement that needs to retrieve the correct email recipient of vendor(this is for PO). A custom output type for External Send is maintained in NACE. The vendor has two email address maintained (one with a note that it is for PO), I can check which email address is correct through tables ADR6 and ADRT. Buts there any exit/enhancement where I can add the logic for this?

Check enhancement 'LMEDR001' this is the customer exit that would be used for enhancement of the print program check the changing parameter CX_DOC which is of the type MEEIN_PURCHASE_DOC_PRINT which has structure 'MSGPA' which should have address numbers information.
How does that help though? There's no access to the e-mail address - what he's trying to do is set the correct address when multiple ones exist on the vendor.
As I remember, with the PO external send processing, you could only use the default address on the vendor (because of a hard-coded READ in the code), so we use the default e-mail address for PO sends and for other objects such as payment advices (where you can actually pick the e-mail address), we tag the notes with an identifier. I have not revisited this code in ECC 6.0 though.
You can see where the e-mail address is set in function CONVERT_COMM_TYPE_DATA; it uses the old macro calls to set the e-mail recipient which is derived from a simple ADDR_GET call (using the address number). There aren't any exits here but you could use an implicit enhancement to change the values.

External Data Transfer to FI-SL Using RGUREC00 - Is Plan Data Supported?

I copied standard program (RGUREC00- to load PLAN data into FI-SL ) to z program and changed as per the requirement from client but it dosen't work for 'PLAN Data', it works only for 'Actuals'.
Is there any other program to load PLAN data ?
Please guide me.

External Data Transfer KCLJ for Loans- Incorrect receiver Records

I am doing some test migration for FS-CML Loans area. I am using the delivered sender program TR_DARL, and transfer structure JBIUDA1.
I have created the source file according to the receiver structure, and when uploaded using transaction KCLJ, the whole file is going to error, with :
Number of receiver records: 5
Number of correct receiver records:
Number of incorrect receiver records: 5
Output file for incorrect sender records is:
C:\Documents and Settings\specified_folder
I do not know which of the fields or records is incorrect. Can someone please help.
Also in the selection screen for KCLJ, I am running the loading from the presentation layer. Can someone please explain where the output file is stored, as I cant see any output file in the path I specified.

When you execute the KCLJ transaction, you have options to the Log. You can see it at the end of screen.
The button is "Expert mode". You have this options:
- Log level
- Information
- Warnings
- Formatting
After upload the file, you can see the button "+" in the screen. If you click it, the system open the details.
Furthermore, you can use the transaction KCLP to see the log. When you execute this transaction, the signal "+" is avaiable to.
Take care with the log size. There is a limitation.

CO-PA External Data Transfer

Hello people
I am trying to use KEFC to load data from an external flat file (txt)
a) I used Define Data Interface KEFA using CE3XXXX Y CE4XXXX tables.
b) I used Maintain Transfer Rules KEFB, defining for characteristics the sender field and for ratios the formula field
c) Then I should create a txt file with the same order of the fields above defined ? or I need to define something more previous to use KEFC ?
because at the moment to try it, using parameters :
Sender structure : 10 (created with KEFA)
Input file : C:\10.txt
Editing : test run (flag)
The following message appear ; Enter either the physical file name or the logical file name

Hi,
This error occurs when you specify the wrong file path. Please check the path you provide in the logical or physical input file name is correct. Also you need to specify a out put file name.
