Copy and paste option on Asha 501

Cant see the copy and paste text functionality anywhere in dis phone....also cant sent contacts as text messages or business cards without it being transferred into a multimedia message...is it possible??!!

It's because of the extension of the hard drive is a Windows extension ( most likely MSDOS or Ex-FAT), meaning you can only read but not write. If there are no important files (or you can copy the whole thing to your computer/mac) you can just reformat the hard drive and change the extension to NTFS (readable and writable on both windows and mac) or Mac OS Extended (readable and writable on Mac, readable on windows).
Go to DISK UTILITY
Choose the Hard Disk you intended
ERASE
You can choose either
(I personally prefer this one, you know just in case)

In Nokia Asha 230 Dual Sim Mobile, there is no option to Copy or paste either in Messaging, or in Forwarding, or in Editing, or in Notes or in Calendar. Option for Inserting characters and deleting characters are available. How to Copy and Paste, in Messaging, in Forwarding, from Message to Notes etc., Please suggest.

Cannot use the copy and paste option

I can't copy and paste any documents. By clicking right clicking mouse there is option for copy. I copy it but i can't paste it even doing ctr--c followed by ctr--v. I unable to copy paste.
When i open clipboard i coudn't able to see any document or picture in it.
Please guide me how can I copy paste all document again.
I try to copy in word i cant do it.
I try to copy matrial from word to my email i can't do it.
How i can enable this copy paste.
There is no virus in my computer.

You can contact the ASP in your country if you have any problems with your notebook.
But to be honest I dont think that the guys will be able to help you because only the hardware problems can be solved by an ASP and this issue seems to be related definitely to the software. The guys always recommend reinstalling the OS from the Toshiba recovery CD firstly.
What you can do is to search on the Microsoft knowledge base for some solution proposal. For me it looks like a registry issue. But believe me; the simplest solution is the new OS installation or system restore to the early working point. Such procedure takes about 15min.

Copy and Paste option from CR 11 Viewer

Hi,
We are doing migration Crystal Reports from CR 8 to CR XI.
The CR 8 reports will be accessed from VB application.
The converted CR XI reports will be accessed from VB.Net application.
In CR 8, There is a popup menu when we do right click from the CR Viewer. We can copy the field and paste it in word doc.
But In CRXI viewer, there is no popup menu when we do right click from the Viewer. So I am not able to copy the field and paste it.
Is there any workaround?

Motorola Droid doesn't copy and paste from email?!

Is it really true the Motorola Droid will not copy and paste from an email? My business sends me emails with information that I need to enter in the NOTE section of my phone CONTACTS and obviously a copy and paste option is the way to do that. I use three different email accounts on my Droid two of which are Outlook Webmail. Tell me there is a way or why would I have a smart phone if it can't perform the most basic computer functions? I've been online with other forums and the consensus is that the Motorola Droid doesn't. My friend has an HTC smart phone that copies and pastes from emails. Thanks for any help and I have tried holding down the SHIFT key and that does not allow me to copy precisely what I need.

The only way to do this is to download K9 mail from the market (free). To copy paste in email you need you forward the mail, don’t send and then you can copy text. I know, it’s a kludge but that is where you are, and one of many reasons Android is not fit or the enterprise. It’s a work in progress. Sorry

On my old MacBook the iPhoto allowed for the copying and pasting of adjustments, on my iPhoto '11 where the copy and paste option used to be there's nothing.

that change log was for the Asha 305 5.92 SW update. The changes in the Asha 311's 5.92 SW update were not the same, despite the same version number.
in summary: manual display brightness control option is now available in Asha 305, but not in Asha 311.
text copy+paste function is not available on either of these products.

Can't always make sense of its effect, but I suspect what your seeing comes under the influence of Photoshop > Preferences > General > Options > Resize Image During Place

Too many options for cut, copy and paste

I have recently removed version 29 which was installed without my permission and reverted to version 28, which was FAR better. I now have a number of right click options for highlight, cut, copy and paste from web pages. I don't see anywhere to attach screenshots but I have FOUR of them, all showing different options for highlight, cut, copy or paste and they are all ridiculous. What can I do to resolve this?

1) Dozens of options, of which only cut, copy, paste are needed for the highlighted text. The text is not a video, is not an audio file, is not a plugin, stupid to set as desktop, cannot be deleted.
2) Highlighted text is NOT a link.
3) Duh. No idea what this right click option is about.
4) This is the only right click option I want. Unfortunately, it only appears about once in fifty right clicks.

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
There is a difference between remembering the name and password in the Password Manager and a "remember me" check box on a web page to log you in automatically.
The latter usually involves the creation of a special "remember me" cookie that is stored on your computer and that is send to the server.
If this "remember me" cookie is removed or gets corrupted or is not send to the server then the server won't remember you and you will have to sign in once again.
Details like websites remembering you (log you in automatically) are stored in a cookie.
*Create a cookie 'allow' exception to keep such cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
*Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes":
*do not clear the Cookies
*do not clear the Site Preferences
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
