Correctly installed Flash Player 11.5, prompted for new instalation
Hello everybody,
I have a Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and running a IE9, latest Firefox and Google Chrome.
I installed Flash Player 11.5 correctly, checking the version on Adobe.com.
Now, after using Flash Player on Youtube and other websites, I started getting prompted to install Flash Player 11.5.
First I canceled the process, but then the window came up again and I reinstalled the latest Flash Player 11.5.
At the same time, all the websites using this content were still working.
Please tell me what to do, because that Pop-up Window keeps on showing up to tell me to reinstall, while the Flash Player keeps working without any problems.

I'd experienced it on both Mac and Win 7, after second or third installation, it stopped popping up. It must have been a bug.

Installing Flash Player on Windows Vista for Dell
I am trying to install the lastest version of Flash Player on a computer system that has a specific version of Vista on it. It has the version that is specific for Dell computers. I have administrator permissions on the computer but it says that it doesn't have proper authorization. I have tried downloading the update and right clicking it to run as administrator, but it still gives me the same issue. What advise can you give?

I am trying to install Flash Player 13 on my brand new Mac
I get to 50% of the installation process and then it asks me to close Safari. Even after Safari is closed, it still asks me to close it. I can't proceed beyond this point.
Can you please offer some suggestions?

Unable to Install Flash Player 11.7.700.169 on OSX 10.7.5
I have tried everything I can think of to install your new version. On Sunday, I downloaded the 11.7.700.169 installation .dmg. When I double clicked on the Install Adobe Flash Player, it reported:
Creating image
Downloading image
Installing Flash Player
I got prompted for my password, and responded. Then it reports a "General Installation Failure" and stops.
I have rebooted, run Disk Utility to repair permissions, uninstalled Flash Player, and eventually installed a downlevel version of Flash Player. I have tried to enter this message using Firefox, but your web site goes into a loop redirecting to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=ca&returnurl=http://forums.adobe.com /adobe_login&loc=en

This turned out to be a permissions issue for me, your milage may vary. Note: This could be dangerous, you could always backup your file perms and put them back once flash is installed.
1. Open console on your mac, go to the system.log section
2. Attempt to install, after it downloads and fails use the "String Matching" at the top and type in "flash"
You should get a section that looks like this:

chmod -R 777 * the contents of the n0000000000000/ directory and attempt to reinstall, this fixed it for me.

This could be dangerous, I'm not sure with the repercussions are. However, I do know I can use flash now. Obviously, if you aren't savy in terminal commands you shouln't be running them. I take no responsibility for any irresponsible actions, know what this means before you do it.

Hope someone here can help me with this - i've been trying to install Flash Player on my machine for a couple of days and keep getting sent in circles by the install application - here is what continues to pop up when i download the program:

I have installed flash player but the computer does not recognise it
I have installed flash player 11 and checked it is installed on my compuer.

Firefox cannot download the files I want to download sometimes. For example installing Flash Player. It opens a new tab with URL "http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/mac/9.x/9.3.4/enu/AdbeRdr934_en_US_i386.pkg.zip" and title "adberdr.pkg.zip (application/zip object)" on it. It happens when I have to download some dmg or compressed files.
-> Tap ALT key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar
-> go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. Now do this:
-> Update ALL your Firefox Plug-ins https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
-> go to View Menu -> Zoom -> click "Reset" -> Page Style -> select "Basic Page Style"
-> go to View Menu -> Toolbars -> unselect All Unwanted toolbars

-> click the Favicon (small drop down menu icon) on Firefox SearchBar (its position is on the Right side of the Address Bar) -> click "Manage Search Engines" -> select all Unwanted Search Engines and click Remove -> click OK
-> go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extensions section -> REMOVE All Unwanted/Suspicious Extensions (Add-ons) -> Restart Firefox
You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working. -
Why has Zuma Blitz and other games stopped working? I have downloaded and installed flash player but it still doesn't work.
