Corrupt elements in 2014.1 from 2014

I have a fairly simple comp that not opening correctly in AE 2014.1. The project was saved in 2014 and I can't go back to that version to open it correctly.
It's one element that is appearing as 'Recovered' in my bin and it looks like all it might have been is a paint stroke. I say might as I can't remember how i created the line and is also it's the only thing missing compared to the render.
I've tried collecting the project to no avail. Also any 3rd party plug-ins are listed as missing (as opposed to corrupt) so I don't think it's that. Plus there are none on that specific comp.
I wonder if anyone has come across something familiar or might have a suggestion. Oh and it's fairly urgent. Thanks

I blurred some of the screenshot for security reasons. This was a project that was an import into New (as you mentioned Dave).

Corrupt design view in Dreamweaver 2014

Is there a solution for the corrupt design view in Dreamweaver 2014. Adobe continues to fix this and it has not changed. My pages are all distorted and the elements/divs are all over the place. It is perfect in live view.
PLEASE...does anyone have a solution,

Design view in Dreamweaver has always been very problematic, it amazes me that it has been OK for you in the past.
With DWCC14, live view has greatly improved and it will not surprise me if Adobe decide to drop Design view in future releases.
To answer your question, in DWCC14, I would not use design view at all. You can now use Live view where you could not use it in previous versions of DW.

Did you update to 13.1 after installation? If not go to Expert Mode and choose:

I recently updated my Iphone 5s to ios8 from ios7(.something) and lost all photos, text messages, etc. and then restored it using an old Icloud backup from 2014. I want to change the Icloud backup to one from this year.

Is it possible to do this, and how? My iphone 5s is still restoring currently in the Backup settings and there's an option that says "Stop restoring Iphone" if I tap it, it says "any data that has not been downloaded will not be restored or backed up in the future"... AND I KNOW that if I update my iphone from ios7 to ios8 that it is a big jump and is the reason why I lost everything on it. So please don't tell me that is the answer to my question, because it's not. I am clearly asking if I can change the icloud backup date from 2014 to one from this year. This is because my iphone asked me which backup I want to use to restore my stuff from after the ios8 update. I hope this question isn't too confusing!!

I can't past in any text from Photoshop to Premiere, RTL or LTR Latin, Hebrew or Arabic text to Premiere Pro cc 2014. It works only between Photoshop 2014 - AE 2014.

I use to write text RTL(right to left) written languages like Arabic and Hebrew in Photoshop, where after copy and paste the text in Premiere to get the job done. With the latest version of Adobe cc 2014 I can't copy and past any text in to Premiere from Photoshop any more, not even text written in latin. Any one has the same problem or work around this issue possibly. It still works fine to copy/paste arabic text written on Photoshop in to After Effects, but Premiere pro 2014 when you paste any text.
I'm sure this forum works as feedback for Adobe in general and my question is:
- Does adobe have any intention in the future to implement RTL text writing in Adobe CC or not? Could any one please answer this question from ADOBE?
As media consultant I can only recommend for my clients using RTL to use Apple FCP X which has built in RTL support and a new way of editing and greater workflow.

Please check this blog post. Updating from Time Machine can cause this issue: Premiere Pro CC, CC 2014, or 2014.1 freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later).

How To Uninstall Photoshop CC (2014) from Creative Cloud (not listed in Program and Features)

My membership for Creative Cloud has expired and I want to uninstall Photoshop CC 2014 from my system.
The ONLY Adobe application listed under 'Program and Features' (Windows 8.1) is the Adobe Creative Cloud, however when I uninstall that all the Adobe Photoshop and Bridge system files remain. When double clicking on photoshop.exe (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\photoshop.exe) I get the Creative Cloud 'Renew your Subscription' screen. After then rebooting and reinstalling the Creative Cloud Desktop, it shows that Photoshop CC, Photoshop CC (2014), and Bridge CC are installed and are all 'up to date'
I have searched everywhere on my system for photoshop uninstall files without success.
Please advise how to delete/uninstall all applications installed by Adobe Creative Cloud when the applications are not listed in the Control Panel 'Programs and Features'

The only Adobe software listed under 'Program and Features' ('Add or Remove Programs' for Windows XP users) is the Creative Cloud Desktop program itself and when uninstalling that, it does NOT uninstall Photoshop CC (2014) or Adobe Bridge CC. When selecting uninstall for Creative Cloud, no Change options are provided to remove Photoshop CC. Uninstalling Creative Cloud Desktop leaves all Photoshop and Bridge system files intact.
Again, I want to uninstall Photoshop CC that was installed by Creative Cloud Desktop and is NOT listed under Program and Features.

Trying to install Photoshop CC 2014 from inside Craetive Cloud panel and my antivirus says it has a Trojan file in it and it won't install

I am trying to update and install Photoshop CC 2014 from the Creative Cloud panel and my antivirus stops the installation and says the setup file and a droplet file have a trojan within them. The Trojan.Win32.Generic.pak!cobra is quarantined in my antivirus program. I can't believe others are not having this same issue! What do I do now?

Anti-malware software nowadays has a lot of heuristic behaviors - meaning it's probably not definitively detecting a virus, but spotting something it thinks smells vaguely like one. It's a transition (from hard detection to heuristics) that's been happening in recent years all across the anti-malware industry and a lot of folks are caught off guard by it. It's possible your antivirus software maker simply needs time to assimilate reports of false positives and make an exception for Adobe's software.
Considering that Adobe probably does some pretty tricky things to ensure people can't easily steal their software, that it is detected acting in a manner attributed normally to malware becomes a bit less surprising. But I don't think there's a virus in it.
Adobe does recommend stopping your antivirus software before installing.

Please help. My Premiere projects from Mac are 2014.1 and can't be opened on Windows with older Premier.

Question: Is there any way to prevent Dreamweaver CC 2014 from crashing? When I get almost to the end of section 2 it will crash, very frustrating.

What is the exact message you get?
Do you have any crash reports?
What are you actually doing when it crashes?
You mention "part 2" so you appear to be running a tutorial.
     If so, which one?
          Is there something in that tutorial, some "click here, hit this button" style step that crashes DW?
The same thing happens with internet explorer?
     Multiple, completely independent, programs unexpectedly crashing on your machine could point to a malware/virus infection.

How to transfer sequences from 2014 back to CC?

I need to bring sequences from 2014 into a CC project file. Can this be done? And if so, how?

Well yes and no.
Export to xml and import that into CC.
Drawback is that all clips will come over, but rest is gone like titles effects etc.

Most of my apps have been upgraded to CC 2014 from CC - is this correct?

The cloud icon on my toolbar disappeared yesterday so I looked in the discussion groups at what to do and found out that somebody had the same problem and just restarted their computer and that the cloud icon reappeared. I did this and the same happened for me. Great.
Then I noticed that most, but not all of my apps, were due to be updated and I proceeded to download them as instructed. Most, but not all of the apps, were upgraded to CC 2014 versions e.g. Adobe Photoshop CC (Ps) to Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 (Ps 2014). Is this correct or has something gone wrong? I now have two icons for most of my app in my Launchpad - should I delete the CC icon in each case to leave the CC 2014 version? Should I then go on to use the uninstaller for each CC program located: Applications>Utilities>Adobe Installers>Uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS for example?

Yes you can store images on an external hard dive and have them referenced in Organizer. It’s best to export copies to separate folders/subfolders and that will ensure iPhoto does not get corrupted.
Alternatively you could continue to use iPhoto with the Elements Editor set up in the iPhoto prefs as your external editing app. Then there is no need to use Organizer and no need to duplicate your images.
You can then call up photos directly from iPhoto as normal with the additional option e.g.
Double-click on a thumbnail to edit in iPhoto editor.
Control (right) - click on a thumbnail to edit in the elements app.

Dym when you reinstall Premiere all available updates will be applied. Do you meet or exceed all of the system requirements listed at System requirements | Adobe Premiere Pro?

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.
