Could anyone advise on installing JAI?

Hello,
I recently installed the latest version of the JAI, on windows.
The classes have three .jar's which I added to the classpath:
jai1.1.2\lib\jai_codec.jar
jai1.1.2\lib\jai_core.jar
jai1.1.2\lib\mlibwrapper_jai.jar
But there is also a .exe checkmmx.exe provided and two .dll files:
mlib_jai.dll
mlib_jai_mmx.dll
Could anyone advise where the .exe and the .dll files should be placed?

I made sure the installation was the windows version and the version which set the classpath.
After the installation, I was left with a folder:
jai-1_1_2_01
which contains the lib folder, and inside lib was:
the three jar files I mentioned eailer the .exe and the two dll files.
I added the three jars to the classpath, but just not sure what to do with the .exe and dll's. If these should be left in the lib folder.

File>Open to open your eps file
File>Export to export your image as a jpg.
In the export dialog box just below where you type in the filename is a file type, that is where you choose jpg.
What ever you do, do not delete the eps file. Should you ever need to access the original you will have have.
I recommend that instead of jpg you choose psd, tiff, or png and use jpg only for sharing. Jpg is a lossy format meaning each time you edit the file and save it, the quality of that file degrades. The formats I recommend are lossless formats, you can edit them all you want no data is being discarded unless you choose to do so.

Are you updating from the App Store when you get that error message?
If so, thry using the 10.9.2 Combo update -> http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1726.

Cache Boot Files Only: 2
Cache Everything (default): 3

Cache Applications Only: 2
Cache Everything (default): 3

Any one or a combo may help
Give your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again.
Try a different USB cord
Try a different USB port
Try rebooting your computer
Try closing/opening iTunes.
If you go through that and it doesn't work, try going into the control panel, add/remove programs. Uninstall iTunes, Apple Mobile Device Service, Apple Application Support. Then redownload and reinstall iTunes and try again

Use Internet Recovery. You shouldn't need an AppleID. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4718
Internet Recovery will install the OS that shipped with the Mac. You can then upgrade to Mavericks if that was not it.

First up, we don't know what kind of MacBook you have so we can't tell you what OS you can run. You can use this instruction to identify which MacBook model you have: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1635. Alternatively, from the Apple menu open "About this Mac". From the window that pops up, click "More Info". This will open the system profiler. Click "Hardware" and locate the model identifier, there.
Next, you need to determine if your system can even run Mavericks before you can go about installing it. These are the requirements:
To install Mavericks, you need one of these Macs:
iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later),
MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or later)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
Xserve (Early 2009)
Your Mac also needs:

Lastly, as you'll note from the above, you can't update to Mavericks (or Mountain Lion or Lion) from 10.5.8. Mavericks is only available in the App Store. You need to be running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) in order to download and install any OS from Lion (10.7) and up. could someone advise on using deploy studio/net boot to mass net install software over a network. i know you first create a machine with all software on it, but then do you make an image with deploy studio? and deploy it from the xserve using deploy studio or do you do a netboot? what is the procedure for doing this kind of stuff?

I believe that I have found an easier solution for displaying a web intelligence report on my aspx page. I am now experimenting with adding an iframe control on the page and setting the src attribute to the report path. I am using the opendocument method for displaying the webi report. Listed below is some sample code.

Apple has changed the way Kotoeri keyboard layouts work. You should be able to get normal behavior if you activate the US layout and switch to that just before using Kotoeri. Here is also an Apple note on the topic with another suggestion:

The VPN update is for OS X Server ONLY. Since you don't have OS X Server installed and you don't need it, then that's why you can't install the VPN update.
