You can ignore that error message. This one is about the default theme that is now stored in the omni.jar archive.
If the FireFTP extension is working properly then there is no need to worry.<br />
Where did you download that extension from that you needed to allow the installation?
You should always download from the official Mozilla Add-ons site to avoid problems.

Updated to firefox 4, and suddenly can't connect with any browser though I am connected. Error message reads "could not read chrome manifest file."

i updated firefox and now I can't access the net on any browser. Wireless router everything is connected and up and running. Just not the browsers. uninstalled it, reinstalled it (didn't work), unistalled it again and internet explorer won't work either (not at anypoint after intial update was run. read several peoples simalr problems with the "could not read chrome manifest file" issue and solutions to no avail. uninstall and system restore did not work either. What did it change on my system, and how can I change it back?

Do a clean (re-)install:
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
* It may not be necessary to create a new profile, so first try if it works with your current profile and if not then create a new profile.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Could not read Log4j configuration file when I run jar file

I'm using Log4J in my application..
I configure the log4j, as follows;
PropertyConfigurator.configure("properties/logging.properties");and then go on to use it.
The .properties is in the root when I jar my source. I use Ant to Jar the file. It all works good when I run the jar file from ant.
The problem is when I run the jar file by double clicking on it, I get an error
" Could not read configuration file [properties/logging.properties]."
I tried the following options;
PropertyConfigurator.configure("/logging.properties");
PropertyConfigurator.configure("./logging.properties");
PropertyConfigurator.configure("../logging.properties");But in all cases, I get corresponding errors on running the jar file through Ant:
log4j:ERROR Could not read configuration file [logging.properties].
log4j:ERROR Could not read configuration file [./logging.properties].
log4j:ERROR Could not read configuration file [../logging.properties].
I want to be able to run the Jar by double clicking on it or through Ant.. Would any one know how to fix this issue so that I can use both methods..

Wow.. this has totally ruined my day.
I have a big important site I need to manage on iWeb, and so the last time it actually did work I saved it and then shut the computer down. I think this screwed me over... I go to iWeb once I get internet access again and it says 2 errors. The first is "The document "Domain" could not be opened.". The second, "Can't open file "~Sites/Domain.sites2.". I thought, okay better go find this son of a gun file, and found it right there where it's supposed to be! After moving it a couple of places for experimentation purposes, I rested it in my Sites folder, explaining why it says the directory above. I have it, and nothing within it looks corrupt, but I'm sure it is. Is there anyway to restore my domain file? Say it so!!! This is soooo incredibly pathetic of apple to have a program that does this, and I feel like kicking the programmer that developed this right now! Other than that, it was a really really good program.
So any help?? How can I fix this file?

Hmm.. I'll repair the permissions.. I already repaired the disk though.
There were 2 buttons:
"Repair Disk" and "Repair Disk Permissions", I only clicked Repair Disk.
So I'll do the permissions.
Where is this file?? I think I already deleted it, or couldn't find it upon reading other support articles.. but where is it?

Could not read my LVM file

Hi Everyone
I have created this LVM file after acquiring my signal. Right now i have a problem of extracting data from this LVM file. For example data from cell B24 to J24.
I have not experienced anything like this because it should be relatively simple. I have used loops and some methods to extract the data but it return me value of NaN or some other number. I do not know what is happening.
The attached file is the LVM that i created. Please help me on this ,thank you

Use the Express VI to convert from the dynamic data type to a 2-D array. Then index out the appropriate column of your array.
You may also want to check the integrity of your data. In your file, the first row of data is pretty full. Later rows have numerous blank columns before and after 4 columns of data.
When I ran the attached VI snippet, I noticed it imported the data, but the columns of the other rows did not align with the first full row in the same way they do when I viewed your file in notepad. You will get a lot of NaN's for wherever your data is blank.

Help, could not read properties after setting the RMISecurityManager.

I am new in RMi and I could not read a properties file when run a class in jar file with java -jar option.
I start the the class by as follows.
java -jar darwin_enhanced.jar -Djava.rmi.server.codebase=file:///home/wing/Darwin/Project/release.server/DarwinServer.jar -Djava.security.policy=darwin.server.policy
I extract the following code snipplet from the main class.

Photoshop won't start: Could not open a scratch file because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file.

I've tried finding and checking and fixing permissions but no success.
This happened from one day to the next. I think it has to do with the sn attached to the disk rather then the motherboard. I have the suite co-installed with Symphony 5.05. I've tried reinstalling.
What's to b done? The rest of the Creative Suite 6 (AE, AI etc.) works fine.

Did you reinstall CS3 after CC?
For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC.

What I have:
* I have problem with installation of the Mac OS X Panther v10.3 on iMac.
* I have 3 original CDs (black with silver X).
What I did:
* I made new 1 partition and formated disk as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) over the Disk Utility in the first CD as normal without additional options (if I tried to format disk with zero all data and 8 way random write format after 3 days computer freeze)
* I verified disk over this utility - that was ok - HFS volume verifed.
* Then I restarted the computer and ran installation from this first CD
What happened:
* installation did not finish, because there were some problems during installation process.
* i tried to customize installation just for essential work (without other languages support, printers etc), but it was still the same problem

It seems like a problem with reading some data from the CD, but during the installation checking of disk was ok.. maybe it can be problem with the cd-rom..? Or problem with data on cd-rom - I mean bad archive file..? But it is original CD.. What do you think??

Adobe Reader could not open a pdf file - either not supported file type or file damaged

On March 5th, I started getting the Adobe Reader error message "Adobe Reader could not open a pdf file because it is either not supported file type or the file has been damaged.
I get this when I try to open the pdf file as an attachment in Outlook 2013 from my G-Mail account. If I save the attachment and then try to open the pdf document, I get the same error4.
I get this error message with every pdf file that now comes to me in Outlook.
If I log on to my G-Mail I am able to open the pdf document. If I also save the attachment to my computer, I do not get the error message when I open the pdf file. This would suggest the file is okay
This would lead me to believe the problem maybe with Outlook.
I'm using Adobe Reader XI v11.0.10
I'm using Windows 8.1
Is anyone encountering this same issue with outlook?
