CR 778536

Question

I was looking into Targeted CR List for ASE 15.7 SP133 and I only found two CR slated to be fixed in this release. A CR 778536 was opened with regards to deadlocks reported when accessing ASE objects that were not written to the log. Based on the instructions from SAP, this is the best place to find out which release this issue will be resolved in

The targeted release list for SP133 is overdue to be updated (last update was back in December).  More CRs will have been checked into by now.
CR 778536, however, is not yet fixed.
One can indeed search the KBA collection, particularly the BC-SYB-ASE component for CR numbers, at some point after they are fixed and checked into a release they will start showing up in the "Targeted CR" list for the appropriate releases.  If there is a KBA specifically written for the issue, the "Resolution" section will generally have been written saying something like "This CR is not yet fixed"; there is a process (not yet perfect) to update these KBAs with the actual release information once the fix is checked in.   So subscribing to both the individual issue KBA (if one exists) and upcoming "Targeted Release" KBAs is a good way to keep informed on when a fix is getting released.
