Crash/black s when I want to go to "slide view" with a powerpoint file (black screen)

I witness crashes when I want to go into slideshow mode of power point 2011 (version 14.0.2) . I get a black screen and I need to push the button power (It takes some time before the push power button is effective) before re-launching again all my files. Thank you for your help.

Keynote is programmed to execute all of the effects in a build sequence before it will move to the next slide.
If you want tobe able to move to the next slide at any time in a sequence of builds, you will need to set all of the builds on that slide to: "on click". You will then need to execute each build by pressing the space bar or click the left mouse button for each object.

NI MAX crashes when I want to see a trace view

Hello,
I get a NI Max - crash when I want to view a trace view which was created before.
In detail:
I create a trace view and add some items, then I display the traces - all is good.
I go to Add/Remove traces and add some traces. When I want to display - nothing has changed, the new traces are not displayed, but no crash happens.
When I leave my trace view and want to come back - Max crashes, it doesn't hang, it is just left.
The same crash appears, when I want to see an old Trace view.
I can't delete old trace views, because I get the crash whenever I click to a Trace view.
I use LabVIEW DSC 8.20
Anyone else with these problems and help?

I don't think I have a Installation Problem, because:
I have the same error on two brandnew Computers with 8.20 installed without Problems.
Nothing of NI was installed before.
The same on an elder Machine, also with 8.20.
And even on my old 7.0 Version on a 4th Computer I get this error.
On all Computers runs XP Professional.
On all Computers I have no Problems with other Citadel 5.0 Databases.
Try the attached Database.

Reboot before sysprep when I want to add an installation task with Office 2013

Hi all,
I want to buid a reference computer with a genuine Win7 wim file, correct drivers, uptodate patches, and usefull applications. So I use a “Build and Capture Task Sequence”. The new reference image captured, I can use it with WDS or a media
to any computers, using a second and different “Build and Capture Task Sequence.”
All things were right, I could add Acrobat Reader, Java and some others application, but it failed when I tried to add “Add Application Task” with Office 2013. I could import the software, I discovered the new panel to configure config.xml
and mychoice.msp, but when I run the Tasq sequence, when it begin to sysprep the OS, a few time before the capture, the computer reboots. Sysprep does not run, and the image is not captured.
I can add any software installation in the Tasq sequence but not one with Office 2013.
What do you think about this issue?

Some pieces of advice, since I have managed to create a Windows 7 WIM file with Office 2013 embedded without any problems:
Build your reference image in a virtual machine, not on physical hardware, to prevent a gigantic driverstore with drivers for one or more models, and having to rebuild your image every single time you use a new model. This is not how MDT works, MDT works
hardware agnostic, since it inject's drivers of hardware for each model before the WIM file is applied to your target computer.
Do you really want to embed applications like Adobe Reader and Java in the image? They have a release every month. Do you want to (or is there room for) updating your image every single month? Put them in the deployment phase of your task sequence. This
way these applications are left out the WIM file, but are installed after the WIM file is applied to your system. Yes this takes a little bit more time when deploying a machine, but that's time you'll save on not managing your WIM file every single month
Check your
log files, make sure your machine is not Domain Joined, since that is the biggest mistake people make when sysprepping a machine. And check
Setuperr.log for any sysprep errors. Guaranteed it has noting to do with Office 2013

I recently had a 32gb iphone 4 I backed up the phone via cable to my pc and when I tried to sync the 16gb iphone 5 no apps synced and some other data as well there was an error message saying there is not enough room. there is plenty of room on the new phone for apps, is there any way i can access the photos and apps that are on my pc? Since I upgraded to 7.01 (linux xubuntu) firefox seems to crash but only when on pages that have something to do with Flash. I purged flash and reinstalled and this seemed to fix it, but it's happening again now. Is there something I can do to fix this?

I never had a problem with firefox until I upgraded to firefox 7. I've always made changes to about:config, and have gone through my changes and none are related to this.
I've just checked about:crashes and I've had 34 crashes since upgrading on 11.10.11
I seemed to fix it on the 13th, as it didn't crash until the 17th, and this was done through purging flash, and then reinstalling the necessary packages.

I fixed this problem by turning off hardware acceleration. At the time I also downgraded my flash to 10 (instead of 11).
This option isn't available any more. But turning off hardware acceleration has seemed to fix it.

When filtering by keyword and using "Edit In" with Photoshop, edited file does not show up in list

When I do an "edit in" using CS5 and save it, the edited file does not show up in my LR4 preview window.

There are two distinct modes by which Edit In... may first open an image into PS: as a fully pre-converted rendered file; or as an on-the-fly converted image in memory.
(When LR opens a PS-edited image a second time into PS, using "Edit Original", the former option is always used.)
In the latter case, it is ACR which does this on-the-fly conversion, working from the original image (as imported into LR) plus your subsequent LR adjustment metadata. This means ACR compatibility with LR becomes an issue - as it is not, with the pre-rendered file option.
There is a useful clue to which mode is being used:
the title of the PS document window, in the case of the on-the-fly conversion, still shows the name of the Raw file (or whatever) that you started with in LR... no file has been saved as yet, to say any different. You can Save or Save as, wherever and under whatever name, and from now on LR will look there for your edited image. Or if you close unsaved, LR has no edited image to show at all.
the title of the PS document window in the pre-rendered case, is the name of a file already saved on disk and already showing in LR. If you then saved this elsewhere, you would merely make a duplicate which LR cannot know about - and if this duplicate is the one which contains your PS work, LR will accordingly not show that. It is busy showing the content of the specific file that was passed to PS.
So, if inside CS5 your document is called something like IMG23334.dng - you can save it wherever you like. If inside CS5 your document is called something like IMG23334-edit.tif - you will have to save your changes back to that exact same file, in order for them to be seen in LR.

When I try to open a saved image with the "htm" file extension all I get is a page of gibberish text.

I have the new Snow Leopard system on my iMac. I saved several images from an art site. The file extension on each image is "htm". when I try to open each image all I get is gibberish tpye text.
Can convert these "images" to jpeg files so I can view and edit them?

If the images have a .htm(l) file extension then you need to rename the files and give them an image file extension like .jpg<br />
That should be sufficient to make programs recognize them as images.

I got an error message when updating my phone and now its stuck with the apple on the screen it wont turn off HELP!

When is Adobe Muse going to be compatible with the MacBook Pro Retina screen ?

Applications such as Illustrator and InDesign are comptabile with the high-resolution Retina Display from Apple but Muse still isn't.

I want to do a slides how with a few photos , but it chooses all of my photos

i want to do a slideshow with 10-12 photos. I've followed instruction in user guide, tap on photo, go to the rectangle with the arrow on top, choose slide show. But it is playing all my photos, most of which I don't want bosses to see. LOL. How do I reset slideshow to my chosen photos?I

From your post I understand you want to play a slideshow of just select photos from your Photos app. Simply create an album of just the photos you want to display, and present your slideshow.

since last week my itunes crashes every time, when i want to synch new videos to my ipod touch or my ipad 1.
i tried everything. itunes new installed, repaired. ipod touch defrag??. every time i need to close itunse with my task manager. it´s frustrating. i need my ipod touch and ipad for work. Help please.
(ihave windows 7 and itunes,ipod and co. is the newest update.)

C5280 prints black page when copying and scanning

Can anybody help please.
C5280 prints a black page when I want to copy or scan but it prints ok from the computer. The light seems to be working on it. I am unable to reinstall with the disc as the CD drive is not working now. Does it need to be reinstalled.

I see by your post that you are getting a black page when copying and scanning from the printer. You can print fine and you updated the HP software, the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and you have the same results.
I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
I wasn't sure whether you just updated the printer software on the printer or the firmware.
If you haven't already, please update the printer's firmware. HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer Drivers.
Disconnect the USB or Ethernet cable from the printer.
Make sure the printer is still connected directly to a 3 prong wall outlet.
Try making a copy with a blank sheet.
If the output is blank, then try and copy a text document.
I will send you another step to try in a private message.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet)

ICloud keeps crashing my iPads when using photo stream

iCloud keeps crashing my iPad when using photo stream, photo stream has downloaded over 600 .png files to my photo stream which are mac icons - these are causing all 3 iPads on iCloud to crash and report .panic.plist error messages. Help? I have turned off iCloud for now which allows the iPad to work.these icons were on my iMac too on iphoto which I have deleted and on our iPhones again which I have deleted. Would like to use iCloud but not until I can fix this issue.

If you are getting the .panic.plist alerts on your iPad when using iCloud, I would suggest restoring the iPad back to its factory settings and using iCloud to sync your data back to the device.
