Craxdrt.dll Error : Application Error.

Hi ,
we installed VB application on a windows 2003 server. Our Users runs this application and tries to run a report when they get the General Microsoft error. The terminal server is accessed from different location. Some body locally (toronto)accessing the terminal server and access the application and report with no problems , but some one in Vancouver tries to run the report and access the report from the application , they get the general Microsoft Error. The error shows the craxdrt.dll as dll that caused this issue
"MyAPP.exe Encountered a problem and needed to close"
Error Signature
AppName : My App.exe   Version: 6.5.0.402
Modname: craxdrt.dll  version:...... Offset:.....
Strange thing is it happens only to the group of people who are inVancouver and people in Toronto are fine.
This application is accessed on the same machine by all users.
Any help is very much appreciated.

It's a problem with the browser.
    Please try the following possiblities:
    - use a different browser or at least a different IE-Version
    - restart the problems (helped me several times)
    - try comptability view in IE

  • HTTP 500 internal Server ERROR, Application error occurred ...

    Hello Friends,<br/>
i'm facing a suspictious problem and hope, one of you can help me. When i try to connect to J2EE-Startpage http://<server>:50000 or http://<server>:8000 i get the following Error<br/><br/>

    <br/>
    What happened before:<br/>
I applied the J2EE-Part of EHP4 Upgrade with JSPM to the Java-Stack. Deployment has finished without any errors.<br/>
    <br/>
    Situation:<br/>
Java-Stack is running and connected per SAPJSF to ABAP-Stack. Processes in SAPMMC are green. Java-Stack is allocating it's memory (about 1.5 GB) as i can see in Taskmanager and sysinternal`s processxplorer. I set Java-Parameter corresponding to note 723909 (696410, 716604) and upgraded JDK to latest version (1.4.2_26). Starting and stopping the Java-Stack with transaction SMICM works as it should. Even the Webservices for 3'rd Party-Applications supplied by the java-stack are working. Deployed Components in Service "Deploy" in VisualAdmin -> Server_0 are OK and connection to DB is up. Reboot of server doesn't help in this case. Anything seem's to be fine except i'm not able to access J2EE-Applications per Webbrowser, not on the werver itself by using localhost, nor by using fqdn on my client workstation. System: w2K3 x32Bit, MaxDB 7.7.07 Build 16, SUN JDK 1.4.2_26<br/>

    Hi Shitij,
thank you very much for your advice and sorry for beeing so late.<br/>
You're absolutely right. there are some error's i've to look for. <br/>
The confusing thing is, that the tracefiles DefaultTrace.&lt;NO&gt;.trc are filled up in about 5 seconds with 10 MB Stuff. In our productive Environment, this is not the case. Below, i attached the last lines from DefaultTrace.1.trc where i tried to connect to the webaccess. By the Way, there's an DB-connect error, even  though there are some SAPEC6DB sessions in DBM-Gui. Probably i've to raise up the numbers of maximum connections in VisualAdmin.DB-session  usage in DMB-gui is 53%. I will post DM-Connection error from DefaultTrace.&lt;NO&gt; in next Post.

  • Font Capture:  PhotoShopServer.exe error - Application Error

I recently installed Premiere Elements 10 and, after a couple of days, I get the following error on OS boot:
Font Capture: PhotoShopServer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x103ed4b3" referenced memory at "0x00000a74". The memory could not be "read".
PE _seems_ to work, but does some strange things from time to time.  I need to correct this error, and hope it resolves the strange PE behavior.  I've seen other postings of the same error in PhotoShop and Encore forums with no resolution.  Certainly someone at Adobe must know what causes this.  Thoughts, anyone?
Running XP Pro 32 bit with SP3 on Dual Core 2.2GHz with 3GB RAM available.
    Thanks for your suggestions!

Well we're all ordinary users here, so although occasionally an employee may post you cannot guarantee it. Your best bet is to contact Adobe Support using the buttons at the top of the page.
There are however some basics that you should look at first: PrE Hanging, or Crashing - Some Tips. If you need additional help then the following article will list the type of information we need: Got a Problem? How to Get Started

  • Business Components Project Error - Application Error

    Hi All
Please can you help me with this one as JDeveloper is not giving me any clues.
I am following the tutorial for Business Components with a few modifications. I am using MS Access DB.
I have managed to successfully connect to this DB and pick the table I want to browse.
All is well until I run the jpr file and then I get this on my HTML page :

    Error returned : null
Any ideas ? What info should I post here as clues to solving this ?
Thanks all for viewing and providing any advice.

  • Application error The memory could not be read 0x00000014

    Hi everyone,
I would like to know if any of you have come across this issue.
I'm running an application built by me in a computer with LabVIEW Run-time 9 in which I display a PDF file using an ActiveX control:
The target computer runs Adboe Reader 9.0.  Everything works perfect until the application is closed.  From time to time (nearly most of the times), I've got the next windows error:
"Application Error:  The instruction at "0x0ffd609c" referenced memory at "0x00000014".  The memory could not be "read".  Click on OK to terminate the program".
Trying to find out the reason, I found a couple of forums which claim that the reason is a bug in Adobe 9.0 (actually, I've tried running the application with Adobe Reader 8 and I cannot repeat the error).  Any of you have had this error before and found a solution?  Those links weren't about LabVIEW and I have no idea how to get around this issue.
    Any help is appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.
    Dani
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

To who may be interested, I managed to find a workaround for this bug in Adobe Reader 9.0.
It seems that, somehow, LabVIEW, and other programming tools, straggle with this version of Adobe (I assume that this is due to this bug) when closing the reference to Adobe created by the ActiveX container.  So the solution would be closing "by hand" this reference, and telling Windows to free all the relation between the application (LabVIEW for us) and Adobe.  The idea is that when we've done with the VI which displays the PDF via ActiveX, we should close the reference to the ActiveX control, close the reference to the VI, and:
      - process all the Windows messages currently in the message queue (.NET:  System.Windows.Form.Application -> DoEvents
      - run CoFreeUnusedLibraries in "ole32.dll"
I hope this information can help somebody, as I wasted too much time to figure this out (finding eventually the answer in a forum of Adobe!)
P.S. For those who program in C# as well, check this link; this was my source.

Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

    Hi Amit,
It is an application error as I had earlier stated. When I checked the default trace file it has the below line:
com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.jsp.exceptions.CompilingException: Error while executing the compilation process: [/usr/sap/Q3W/DVEBMGS10/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/sap.com/DMApplication/servlet_jsp/DMSSO/work/jsp_firstDM1231245715241.java:22: package edu.yale.its.tp.cas.client does not exist
I have talked to the customer since it is an application error and this is customised URL the developers need to work on this.
I am closing this thread. Thanks for your help anyway.

  • Using LabVIEW 6.0.1 in Win2K, I get the Application Error: The instruction at "0x004be060" referenced memory at "0x00000001". The memory could not be "read".

I have several VIs that use the same typedef. This "super" typedef consists of of a cluster containing 6 arrays. Each array has elements that are themselves typedefs. The array element typedefs consist of a cluster of strings, a string array, and yet another cluster typedef of instrument handles. The total number of unique typedefs is 13 (1 super, 1 as the array element in the 6 arrays, and 1 in each array element).
When I make any changes to any of these typedefs and I try to open a VI that uses the "super" typedef, LabVIEW stops loading subVIs and crashes with the Application Error: Application Error: The inst
ruction at "0x004be060" referenced memory at "0x00000001". The memory could not be "read". Also note that this VI contains several subVIs that use this "super" typedef for terminal inputs and outputs.
What is causing this problem? My only solution to this is to rename the "super" typedef, open the VI, ignoring the load of the "super" typedef, and once the VI opens (with a broken arrow) relinking the VI to the typdef after renaming the typedef back to the original name. This becomes quite painful when you have to do this for each and every VI that uses this typedef on every revision of the typedef.

You might want to first install the 6.0.2 patch before digging too far into this. You can download it from the ftp site:
    ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/labview/windows/updates/6.0.2/
If the problem remains, then it is likely related to a few known issues with strict type defs. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done about it at the present time. You might try having the *.ctl file open in the editor when you open the VIs to see if that helps.

  • Application error during release to LiveCache

    Hi Experts.
I got some orders stucked in my Outbound Queue in ECC side as SysFail with the error "Application error during release to LiveCache". When I click to activate the queue the order is released and transferred to APO. The question is Why is getting stopped?
    Thank you!

    Hi Everybody.
SAP Provided me a note to implement to fix this issue. The note number is 1238616 but I need to understand how to reproduce this error in SandBox to implement this note and check if the problem will get fixed...
Currently my OSS is assigned to SAP (Live Cache team) to let me know the root cause for this problem and how to reproduce in lower environment (sandbox) to implement the note and check if the problem will get fixed.
As work around we are manually activating these errors in CIF queues that are getting clean.

  • 'Application Error' showing while playing games in...

I downloaded a couple of games for my Nokia C3.But while playing for sometime it showed an error 'Application Error' and then exited. In the details it showed Out Of Memory.I cant really figure out why this is happening.
I tried a couple of games specially those having size of 900kb and above.

    Hi sidd913,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum/
Your phone is most likely running out of memory which is why this message shows up. The easiest way to create more memory is to hard reset the phone, this will delete all unnecessary files on your phone and creates more space for applications.
Connect your phone to Nokia Suite and create a back up of the data you'd like to keep via Tools > Back up. Make sure you don't tick the Settings box. Once the back up has been created, disconnect your phone from Nokia Suite and enter *#7370# into your phone and default security code 12345, unless you've changed this code yourself.
When the phone has rebooted, reconnect with Nokia Suite and restore the back up you've created via Tools > Restore. The error will now not appear anymore.
If you've happened to lose some applications you can redownload them in the Nokia Store under the My Stuff section. When you've paid for applications and you've lost them, please contact your local Care line who will be able to resend the applications to your phone without any charge for you. All you need is your IMEI, which you can find by entering *#06# into your phone.
