Create a site utilization report for SharePoint Site with these conditions

HI,
How do we create a site utilization report for a SharePoint 2007 site. I want to include the following conditions in the report
a) The list of users who are accessing the site
b) The list of users who have not accessed the site ( Can we do some filtration based on some conditions )
c) When was the last date the user has accessed the site

Sorry for delay in reply. I don't think this can be possible from front end without involving SQL dbo users table. If you found any other alternate please share here.
You can get site collection / sub site user details via

I have single instance of MDEX 6.2 and Exprience Manager.
I have created some pages in workbench and set the specific trigger for all pages.

Hi Sunil,
You need to customize the reporting. You can log site specific parameter [for example site=abc/xyz] and then update the reporting to read and display reports site-wise.

As I understand, the site web analytics reports cannot work in SharePoint 2010.
1. You could check the details about the error in the ULS log.
2. Install the hotfix that is dated June 29, 2010 to check if it can work.

Missing "Save Site as Template" For Publishing Sites in Project online 2013

First I created Sub site using Project Template under the site collection.
Now I want to this Sub site Save as a Site Template. When I went for Save site as Template in site setting. Under Site Action there is no option for “Save site as Template”

"Publishing Feature" may be enabled at your site , The Publishing feature does not support the Save Site as Template option.

Generate Prime Interface Availability and Utilization Report for unified APs

I´m trying to generate interface availability and interface utilization report for unified APs on Prime Infrastructure 2.0, but it doesn´t display any information. I have created device health and interface health templates under desing/Monitor configuration/My templates and deployed under Deploy/Monitoring deployment, but it still don´t show any information,

I face the some issue with you, I just run "Report/Report Launch Pad/Deivce/Interface Utilization"
and then I create a report for interface utilization.
But it display nothing when the report run finished.
I ask some guys in this forum, they said maybe it's a PI2.1 bug.

Changing the Site URL of a Sharepoint site changes the content type order

Description
Changing the Site URL of a Sharepoint site changes the content type order of all lists that
* contain folder content types
* and have a custom content type order
* where a folder content type is the first content type in order.
Reproducible behaviour
1. Create a Team Site in Sharepoint
2. Create a Task List "Test" on the Team Site
3. Go to List Settings
4. The Content Type order is by default
    a. Task
    b. Summary Task
5. Change the Content Type Order to
    a. Summary Task
    b. Task
6. Go To Site Settings "Title, description and icon"
7. Change the Site Url
8. Go To List "Test" List Settings
9. The Content Type order now is
    a. Task
    b. Summary Task
10. Select "Change New button order and default content type"
11. Here, the Content Type order still is
    a. Summary Task
    b. Task
Is this a bug? Has anyone noticed this behaviour before?

Hi Joachim,
You are not missing something or doing something wrong. i Hope :). This behavior is reproductible.
The granularity of change is better by Powershell. But by the interface is most user-friendly.
Maybe that's the reason of this behavior.

I Need MBAM 2.5 Helpdesk and self service sites to open for authenticated users with no password prompt. I just cant seem to get this to work. The account used in the application pool has its SPN registered and delegation set. I can use that account to login
to the sites but am prompted for a password. That said anyone I add into the helpdesk users group cannot negotiate the sites. Only the account I have set in the application pool can. I want domain authenticated users that have been added to the MBAM Help Desk
Users group to negotiate the site with NO password challenge at all.

This generally means that your SPN is not set up correctly. Let's say the web server you installed the SSP on is lance.contoso.com and your app pool creds are corp\lance. You should set an SPN similar to setspn -s http/lance.contoso.com
corp\lance. In your browser, you should now be able to access the SSP without prompts. However, if you still get prompted, generally that means that your local intranet zone in IE does not have an entry for *.contoso.com. Since you are entering
an FQDN in your browser, IE interprets the "." to mean "on the internet" which breaks Kerberos authentication. By adding *.contoso.com to your local intranet zone, you are telling it that lance.contoso.com is on the intranet, so use
Kerberos.
I can confirm, that I have exact configuration and I always get the password promt for the very first time. We have 2 server (1xIIS and 1xSQL) infrastructure in production with SPN set like it should and I get the password prompt.

Report for failed delivery with reasons

Hi all,
Maybe i am blind, but I cant find a way to do an automatic report or email a report for bounced emails with details.
So I need to get a report with the email address, message number and the reason for the bounce or failure for Example: bounced by destination server. Reason: 5.1.0 – Unknown address error ('554',
Any where I can do this?
I see the bounce logs have this information, but short of ftp'ing this daily then writing a script to email this out I cant see how to do this.
It would be nice to just have a daily email report

On box - no easy way that I can think of other than what you've mentioned. You could however accomplish this (as well as any other custom reports you would want to create) with SawMill (https://www.sawmill.net).
This used to be used heavily back when the WSA was first released as on box reporting wasn't up-to-par. However, it can be used for the ESA as well.

Report for CS15 tcode with multiple material nos. in selection screen.

I want to develop a report for cs15 but with multiple materials.
Like in cs15 we enter the material and its plant, then click on multi level check box and get the output. But cs15 works only for a single material. I want to develop a report in which i'll give multiple material nos. and then i should get the output for each material entered just as the output that would appear in cs15 for that material.
How do i do it.
I have tried but i'm not able to track back.

try develop a interactive report which lists all the materials in the first screen and when you double click on each of the material then call transaction CS15 output by skipping the first screen .Use set parameter to pass the material .

Go to ME2N --> Use dynamic selection, choose for hte Puchase doc item --> here select for the over and under delivery and then execute the report..

Need to update the list item in the same sharepoint list with particular condition with Sharepoint Designer 2013.

I have one sharepoint list with huge data i.e with 20columns and more than 200 records with the fields .
Suppose lets consider there are A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H columns.
Now i want to create one form with the fields A,C,E.
When the user enter the existing data of list for columns A,C..based on C value the E column value should change and update that particular item in the list.
Please guide me without visual web part can we acheive this by Sharepoint designer 2013 or what would be the preferable solution.
Please help me on this as it is very urgent from me..

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to update the list item in the same sharepoint list with particular condition with Sharepoint Designer 2013.
I recommend to create workflow associated to the list and then start the workflow automatically when an item is changed.
In the workflow, you can add condition and actions as below:
If current item: C equal to Test1
Set E to Test2
Then the value of the filed E will be changed based on the value of the filed C.
In addition, if you create the form using InfoPath, you can add rule to the filed C as below:

Cannot create dataset from claims based authentication sharepoint site in report builder 3.0

I have a sharepoint site, which is configured as claims based authentication (ref:

on this sharepoint site. As a result, the site is also integrated with reporting service. I try to create a report in the sharepoint site by clicking "New Document" -> "Report builder Report". The report builder will comes out and ask for credential to
connect to the report server. I use asp.net member to login and it can let me to create a data source which connect to a the list of the sharepoint site with credential option "Use current Windows user. Kerberos delegation might be required". However, when
I try to create a data set and click the query designer, error "Server was unable to process request. ---> Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))" appear as below:

Claims authentication types supported by SharePoint 2010 are Windows Claims, forms-based authentication Claims, and SAML Claims. In SAML-Claims mode, SharePoint Server accepts SAML tokens from a trusted external Security Token Provider (TST). From the
blog you referenced, it seems to use the SAML Claims authentication.
However, the Reporting Services client applications: Report Builder, the Report Designer in Business Intelligence Development Studio, and Management Studio do not support connecting and authenticating with LiveID or SAML Claims based SharePoint Web applications.
That's because the SAML Claims don't use the Reporting Services authentication endpoint. So, you have to change the Claims authentication type to use Report Builder on the SharePoint site.
