Create Anchor Links

I would like to create a link at the top of my page that will scroll to the content at the bottom of the same page. Is this possible and how can I create that? I think it's called an Anchor Link.

Is there any way to handle anchor speed. Beceause that way we can handle auto parallax scrolling part maybe. Default speed is way too fast for parallax scrolling.
And isn't there any rotate button for prallax scrolling. At least I think it must be included. Same like scrolling options such as, before position, after position, rotate left, rotate right(speed) So we can move and rotate at the same time while scrolling. And that would cause better animations.

Creating anchor links over a PSD header

I have created my header in Photoshop and pasted it in to my one-page site as a graphic. In order to create anchors I've created text boxes over each word - no fill and no stroke - and lableled each one to the corresponding anchor. In Preview only the first link works? Is there a better way to do this?

Yes. You can either used Named Destinations, or page views.
Named Destinations need to be set up before the link is created, but can be
used by more than one link. Page views are created ad-hoc when you select
the action "Go to page view".

I am using the spry accordion from DW CS6. HAving 6 panels.
I want to do this but can't manage it the usual html way...and I am clueless about javascript:
I want to create a wordlink that forwards people to the content of a different panel within the same accordion.
I tried the usual naming of anchor and creating link to such but nothing happens. I googled a bit for answers but I come up with js and that is abracadabra to me. The names in the js are nothing likie html classes that I can target so I have no clue what to do.
Any help would be very appreciated on this matter.
One other problem I am having is this:
My accordion is broken in the Opera browser....anybody an idea what causes this? Do I miss some plug in my browser?

Unable to open local file using af:goLink and anchor link in JSF page.

I want to open a file at a perticular location on client machine. I am using af:goLink to openg the file. But when i tried to click on the link it is not opening the file. If i give any other value like name of other site, it opens the link. It is not giving any exception also. I tried by puting notmal HTML anchor link. That is also not working. But if i put this anchor link in normal HTML page, it works.
Following is the JSPX page that i have created. Here c:\dmmsi.log is a temp file on my local system.

What version of IE are you using? IIRC, IE 7 is supposed to prompt you. ("The web site is attempting to open a page in your Trusted Zone. This can let hax0rs pwnz0r you. Continue?" or something to that effect.)
If you use the verbatim tags, do you get an actual error message? That might help diagnose the problem.

Anchor links within a PDF?

Is it possible to create anchor links within the body of a PDF? How?
For example, having a list of topics at the top and then creating anchors that drop down to each topical section.

Anchor Link inside a Scrollpane

Is it possible to create anchor links in text within a scrollpane. I created text with a list of questions at the top of the list and answers at the bottom of the list. I want to be able to click on a question and jump down the list to the answer within the scrollpane. Similar to anchor links in html. Is this possible in AS2.

no but, you can use the scrollpane's vPosition to scroll to the correct position.

Responsive anchor links on mobile site

I am trying to build a one page scrolling mobile site in muse and can't figure out how to create anchor links that adapt and move to different mobile screen sizes, is this possible?

You only need 3 files... not including "Edge Includes" and "External Art Assets"

The advantage of Edge being that u have the "power" to do whatever you like, but as with new things it takes awhile to figure it all out.

Hel with modifying cs5/6 script...create anchored frames from text

I have one great time saver script for cs5 for create anchored frames from text tagged with/or charachter style/paragraph style. This work in cs6 but have some "bugs" for me. Script need to be compatible with InDesign CS6.
1. script in original (look bellow) create text frame which is fitted to lenght of the text. I make change and change 466 line:
AnchoredTextFrame.fit(FitOptions.FRAME_TO_CONTENT);
now frame is wide as I write in check box, good. But frame not resize to lenght of the text so I add after above lines 466-470:

How to resolve this?

Анализируя недочеты скрипта в данной его версии были исправлены ошибки и внесены
функциональные дополнения исходя из понимания задачи автором модификации. Добавлена
возможность выбора стилей, если они они находятся в группах (папках), возможность выбора
единиц измерения из выпадающего списка, изменены GREP-выражения для поиска текста,

Hi Cari,
I did create a new user account (admin level) and InDesign works like a charm.
When I went back to the other account, plug-ins gone, I deleted the prefs and caches, restarted and still everything is crashing as before.
At least I am working on one account and I will contiue to troubleshoot on the other account. And at some point either the new account will crash or the old account will work and I will go from there.

Create a link to a specific spot in PDF document

Is it possible to create a link from a Table of Contents item to a specific heading on a page within the same document. So far from what I've read and what I've tried I can only link to a specific page but not a specific section on that page. Is that possible? If so how to I do that? It's basically the same idea as HTML anchor links within the same HTML page. So if you have a links up top you can create named anchors for the destination spot later on down the page. I tried using the destinations in Acrobat also but it seems to also only point to the page, not the specific area on a page.
If anyone knows if that's possible, could you either show me how to do it or point me to a tutorial online that shows how to do that. I've searched and searched but just cannot seem to find anything. Maybe I'm not using the right keywords to search.

You can either link to an existing named destination or a view that you establish when you create the link. A named destination is a combination of a page and the view settings (e.g., fit width, fit visible, 200% zoom and scrolled 1/4 way down the page, etc.)
When you add a new named destination, go to the page you want and set up the display of the page to what you want. Give the named destination a meaningful/descriptive name.
When you create the link that you want to target a named destination, select an action of "Go to a page view" and set it to the current view. You then have to go and edit the action and select "Use Named Destination" and select from the list of named destinations in the document.
You do not need to set up named destinations to link to a specific area of a page, but they are helpful when linking from other documents or systems, particularly if the document that's linked to changes with any frequency.
To set up the same type of link without using named destinations, just add a new link and when you're presented with the "Create Link" dialog, select "Go to a page view" and navigate to the corresponding page, set the view you want, and click the "Set Link" button.

Anchor Link for an Image

Can i make a button change anchor link when you scroll down the site?

I am trying to make a scroll site.. and i have navigation buttons on the right, a full menu, but also a "1 topic up" button and "1 topic down" button.
Is there any way that i can have those buttons change anchor link when you scroll down the site.
Example:
I am at home, then i press "1 topic down" and gets scrolled to the next topic on the website, but then i cant make the button change to link to the anchor below that, so the button becomes useless after that 1 press.
Is that in any way possible in Muse to make it change link?

You can try to create different buttons on page positions where down scrolling will be active with separate button actions. For example you click on "I topic down" , page scrolls and there is another button placed with "Next Topic down" , on click this would scroll the page more and similarly along the length of page.
Button with anchor link scrolling down the page cannot be used for different anchor links, creating different buttons with anchors is the solution.

Actually i have created anchor frame, but it is not allowing to place the xml element, it shows "inline frame xml elements not allowed" some thing like this.
I have handled anchor frame type is "custom" but it shows "inline frame".
Any of you got better idea about this.

I believe this has to do with you doing a placeXML, where the XML contents does not match the tagged frames in the document.
Again i'm not sure, but i dont think this has to do with what kind of frame you are placing into(inline or custom anchor) rather if your tagged frames and XML match up.
