Create ipub 3 children's book in Khmer

Hello, looking for recommendations on best program to use to create epub 3 format books.
The books are in Khmer as primary langauge - hence the requirement.
I have already created finished content in iBooks format, but need to now back track and make it epub 3 to comply with Apple guidelines.
Would love easiest path to go from iBooks work to epub 3.
These are childrens books that have a lot of illustrations, so I have some sensivity to the way the illustrations are handled by in epub 3 format.
Love the way they look right now in iBooks. Sad that I can't just publish as is. Any ideas on how to encourage Apple to clear this language so they start accepting them in iBooks format?

To ask Apple to change their approach regarding languages requiring epub3, you can use

My understanding is that they have done this because they feel the languages on the list require features that are not available in iBooks Author. For example, for Chinese/Japanese it is vertical text, reverse page turning, and phonetic guides. So when you write them, you need to make the case the no special features are required for Khmer beyond what is in iBA already. I suspect that correct line breaking might be a problem. OS X only supports that for Thai at present.

How to reset your Apple ID security questions
Go to appleid.apple.com and click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.
Log in with your Apple ID and password. If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email.

HT1351 My fifth generation nano will no longer sync my address book from my Mac. It gives me an error message that "You have no contacts" and asks me if I want to create some. My address book is full of contacts. Sync works for everything else.

My address book is full of contacts, but for some reason it thinks it is empty. All the other sync operations work fine including iCal. My Mac is running OS X 10.7.4.

It sounds like all of your contacts on your Mac running Lion are actually stored up in iCloud.
Several users running Mac OS X Lion and now ML (and iCloud) have no longer been able to "sync" contacts over to their older iPods models.
A work around is to export all of your contacts out of Address Book as vCards and them copy these vCards into your iPod's Contacts folder. You'll need to have the Enable Disk Use option ticked from under the iPod's Summary tab in order to browse out to the iPod's Contacts folder via the Finder.
Using your iPod as a storage drive
That's the only "solution" I have been able to use to get contacts to sync/appear on my 5G iPod Video.

Cannot create a new Offline Address Book

I have 2 instances of Exchange Server installation in one single organisation (by one per domain):
1. Exchange 2010 Version 14.3 (Build 123.4).
2. Echange 2013 Version 15.0 (Build 1044.25).
I have created new OAB and arbitration mailbox following
this article.
It is result of command:
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-Mailbox -Arbitration | where {$_.PersistedCapabilities -like "*oab*"} | ft name,servername
Name ServerName
BK Arbitration OAB vsrv-exbk
But when i try generate new OAB using command:
Update-OfflineAddressBook -Identity "OAB-FAB"

I investigated this situation and found out that i have "Organisation Management" role on my account, and "Mailbox Assistant service." is started on server "SRV-MAILBOX.xxx.local".
I try to restart the service but it does not fix this issue.

How did you create a new OAB and an OAB Generation Mailbox? When creating new OABs after Exchange CU5, we need to specify the GeneratingMailbox property.

the report.

Then you rotate it and SAVE or SAVE AS and it will remain that way.

I have children's books in Japanese, Chinese and Arabic that I am trying to convert into epub formats that ibookstore will accept. My source docs are in ms word or pdf format. I want to use ibooks author for this purpose. Can anyone suggest a solution?

Any help will be sincerely appreciated. I understand that ibookstore will accept only epub 3.0 formats for Japanese titles. As I stated earlier, my objective is to make those language books available in ibookstore.

If you mean keep the same as original, I wouldn't expect to retain that, sorry.
You'd be obligated to either copy/paste in sections/blocks of text, images, etc. or insert from Pages/Word, but either way you can expect to have to rework towards whatever 'fixed' layout you need in an iBA book....that can mean significant work in some examples.
You may want to work with a sample to find out the best workflow in any case.

I ask if it is possible that a plugin creates a graphical control like others applications can usually do and put it as a legitimate child of the Acrobat/Reader application, for example over a pdf page, and get events and so on.

If you are having issues with your bookmarks for your Maps application not functioning, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

Creating a pdf of a book

Does anyone know how to create a pdf from a book? I'm trying to print titles and comments and i've gotten some good advice earlier, but i don't know how to do this small task.

While in the book mode type Command-P as if you were going to print the book yourself. In the Print window there's a PDF button/menu. Click on it and select "Save as PDF" and select the destination.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. How to create Parent and Children is a tree table when the primary key of the parent is generated via a trigger and a sequence number in the database?
My problem is when I create a parent and then right away a children. The parent still not have a primary key until the transaction get to the database. I get a error when trying the create the children, cannot insert null in the foreign key field of the children.

You should have the parent key be marked as a DBSequence type.
Then you should have the association between the master and detail defined as composite association to make sure that the posting order to the database is correct.

Image navigation bar for ePub Children's book export?

I'm designing children's picture books in ID for export to ePub. I've seen some such books on my nook (ePub) that have an image navigation bar that pops up at the bottom of the page. Readers can scroll through reduced images of pages quickly on this navigation bar, tap a particular image and go directly to that page. I've looked through lots of tutorials but I don't see any that show how to do this. Can you point me to a tutorial that teaches me how to make this navigation bar?
