Create Now Tour - UK

Hi,
I keep checking here - http://www.adobeeventsonline.com/createevent/?sdid=KAYFC for more information on Create Now Tour coming to the UK.
Does anyone know when there will be information on the UK sessions? It's strange that the UK is the only country to not have any further information.
I do not want to miss this, I'm sure others feel the same. It's rare that Adobe come to the UK so we need to grab this opportunity by the horns, but travel and accommodation cannot be arranged until we have further information

Why isn't there an event in London anyway, the capital of the UK, where the majority of your customers must be from....?!

ich habe mich letzte Woche für den Termin der "Create Now World Tour" in München angemeldet, allerdings bis heute keine Bestätigungs-Mail erhalten. Jetzt wollte ich mich einfach nochmal anmelden, meine Mail-Adresse scheint jedoch gespeichert zu sein, so dass das ja darauf schließen lässt, dass ich irgendwie registriert bin.
Könnt Ihr mir da evtl. weiterhelfen, wo ich erfahre, ob ich registriert bin? Die Hotline hat da keine Infos dazu.

Die Tour fällt aus.... *lol* Na Spaß beiseite. Wenn du keine Bestätigung hast, ist die Veranstalltung in der Regel schon ausgebucht oder irgendwas anderes organisatorisches noch nicht klar. Möglicherweise wird gerade auf eine andere Location umgebucht. Auch wenn's doof ist, aber kann wirklich sein, dass du erst eine Mail 24 Stunden, bevor es losgeht kriegst... also entwedere ruhig bleiben oder einen Usergroup-Manager fragen, der sowas wissen könnte.

I must say about a year ago I looked at adobe ideas and said that it was a wast of resources and that it had no good use case. about 3 months ago I looked at it on a weekend away from my main computer. I had a need for drawing. I love this app. Please continue to develop it. It is amazing. I was worried because the iPad has no pressure sensitivity, but muse works around this and it is excellent. Can it be better? Absolutely, but it is great for such a young program. Please Keep developing it and promote it more. I love this app. Did I mention that I love this app. Eventually I will have samples at www.billmurphy.ca

Creating virtual tours on the internet

Is Director the best program for creating virtual tours out
of panoramic shot jpg's? If not, what is? Flash? Fireworks?

Director can certainly do it, and you could make use of
director's 3d hardware capabilities. If your panoramic images are a
cylindrical map, spherical map or cube map, you'd probably get best
results by using the image as a texture mapped to the inside faces
of the appropriately shaped 3d primitive (cylinder, box or sphere).
You might also want to look into quicktime VR, if you don't
want to get into the programming side of things.

File created, now crashes Flash on open

I've created a file that I've worked on numerous times and
recently resaved as a new file.
Now, when I try to open that file, Flash crashes. I've moved
the file to other partitions, to an external drive and trashed the
main Flash preferences but still the file will not open.. the
interface of Flash comes up and WHAM, crash.
Other files open fine. The file isn't very big, about 1.8
megs
I want to add that I've tried to open the file as an external
library and that works. But, when I start a new file and try to
drag an item from the library to the new stage, it crashes.
Any other ways to try and get that open? I've even had a
friend open the file and resave and then resave as Flash 8 and it
doesn't open. I created this!! Crashes my Flash but not
hers?

I have had the same problem with several files, and the only
way I was able to get it to open, was to uninstall Flash, and then
reinstall it, then open my file. That has saved me twice now, but
COME ON, this should not be how one has to fix his/her projects.
Come on Adobe, fix the bug laden Flash CS4. Update is WAY over
due.

I am surprised to see that Remote Desktop Client update 3.7.1 been updated without my authorisation and creating now lot of problems from December 7, 2013, any one can tell, how?

Remote Desktop Client update 3.7.1 has been updated without any permission and now creating umpteen number of problems since December 7, 2013. Now my gmail is empty and unable to see any email. Most of the time my local host is: 92.242.132.27, I do not know why?
Now I want to uninstall my update 3.7.1.
I seek help to resolve my problem.

Use Director 2004MX to create a tour CD?

We would love to import our .jpg libraries of Montana images
into
Director 2004MX to build interactive CD tours of Montana.
Problem: It is important that we use the original image
file size (2,000kb or greater). From the reading we
have done "on-line"(See link below)
It appears the Director MX projector can only
work with small .jpg files of less than 100kb.
We know art museums use Director MX to build tours of their
galleries.
Can someone point us to a tutorial that will illustrate
how to build a quality tour that incorporates hundreds of
2,000kb images.

Hi Mark,
I don't think the size limit of 100KB is true. Try import a
larger one and
see what happens. hen importing, choose 'Link to External
file'. If you're
using lots of images, it's best to keep them external to your
movie rather
than embedding them and making the movie size huge.
What kid of tour do you want to make? It's hard to direct you
to sites that
may have info without knowing the specific type of tour
you're envisioning.

Error in creating now post period

It says it's a myth that you do not need the internet to use these programs, but I think you do. I regularly get asked to confirm by account online. Sometimes I travel in areas where there is no internet access, but find myself stuck and unable to use the programs because I cannot confirm my account online.

Does anyone have ANY idea when the next update is going to happen?

I'm editing a wedding video now and am waiting for the new updates (especially the functionality between Speedgrade and PP) to drop. I had heard a few weeks back that they were going to happen 10/15 but that date came and went. Then at the Create Now tour they said "in the next few days", but that was nearly a week ago. Does ANYONE have the scoop on this? I'm chomping at the bit....

Due to Adobe being a publically-traded company, where mis-information or disappointments from missed expectations can affect their market cap, non-disclosure-agreements of employees and contractors would prevent divulging of such information in a public forum.
