Create on 2 different Macs with one .mac account different websides

I have 2 Macs at different places, I have one .mac-account and I liked to create and publish websides independently on both Macs (for example: I have all my regular websides on my Mac at home, but when I am in my weekend-house, I liked eventually to take some pictures concerning a problem which just arouse, publish it on a quickly created webside and call a friend, so that he is able to have a look at this new webside and give me a comment).
Is it possible to do this without erasing my regular websides that I had already published on my home-Mac ?

I think it should work fine, as long as you give the sites different names.

    Yes.

Yes, as a member of Creative Cloud, you get many benefits that you do not get when you purchase a traditional shrinkwrapped product:
Access to both the Mac OS and Windows® versions of the desktop applications and the ability to install them on your primary computer and one backup computer. So, if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, you can install your applications on both as long as they are not running at the same time. • I have 2 macs w/different music with one iTunes account

can I use both machines on the same account, or do I need to have separate iTunes accounts for each machine for Genius to work properly?

I have 3 emails and 3 devices. I just want to be able to share the purchased music/apps but keep pictures/contacts etc separate. Is this possible??

  • Sharing between two macs with one user account?

Is it possible to connect two macs to share documents and music if they are both logged into the same user account?
I recently bought a Mac Mini and when setting it up, I transferred everything from my Macbook Pro to it, including my user profile which I now also use on the Mini.
Since setting up the Mini, I've been using both machines so the content on both is no longer identical. There have been occassions where I have wanted to transfer something from the MBP to the Mini or vice-versa over wi-fi and have encountered problems. I suspect this is because I am using the same user account and they get confused.
I don't need the two macs to be identical in their content, however there are times when I want to share or quickly transfer music, documents or Garageband files from one to another. Would I be better off setting up different profiles for the Mini and the MBP to achieve this? Is there a better way to do what I'm trying to do?

Could you please explain, what kind of problems exactly you encountered? Error messages? Corrupted files? And why do you think the problem is caused by the same user profiles?
Like markwmsn I have no problem with sharing using the same account name on all my macs. Only since upgrading to Mt. Lion I usually use AirDrop to send single files. That saves the trouble to copy the files to a public folder.
Do both your macs support Air Drop?

  • Itunes accounts one mac with one present account

i want to add/delete songs/video of my son's iphone but want it to stay under my wife's itunes account, but i want to do this on my imac which is under my own itunes account.  I could just delete him off my wife's account but then he may loose his game apps and he is touchy about that because he is on a certain earned level on minecraft(some kids game).  If it wasn't for the game apps no problem but he wants to keep those especially the ones he is on different levels. The songs/videos i want to put on his iphone were not downloaded from the apple store. running all updated OS on imac and iphone.''
Is there a solution to this? I have been reading up on home sharing, authorization/deauthorization, creating new user accounts.  All didn't seem to touch on this. Doesn't seem as it is possible so throwing this out there before i give up

    hello?

  • 3 different IDs with one Skype account?

    Hi,
I'm trying to sort out a mismatch with my Skype-ID, Microsoft-ID and mail address. I don't get it, please help me to understand the underlying system.
The first IDs I get aware of is when I start Skype and click onto the symbol in the upper right corner, which brings up charms bar. On top of the charms bar I read "Peter Smith" and "peter.smithAThotmail.com" (all names are for demonstration purposes). Next I click on "Account" at the bottom of charms bar, which launches IE and a page called "My Account". There again I see "Peter Smith". But when I click on "Logoff" in that page I'm presented with a logon screen (for the purpose of an immediate relogon) - and this is preallocated with "Batman96" as "Skype-Name". And that's not all: Clicking on "Forgott password" I get an email for resetting it. And when that email arrives it says "Hello jack.miller96"!?
    How can I achieve
    a) that I'm similarily am "Peter Smith" in Skype and Windows and the associated email address is [e-mail removed for privacy and security],
    b) get rid of "Batman96" and "jack.miller96"?
I know that there are some persons named "Peter Smith" in the world. But finding me in Skype should be no problem, because the search in Skype directory could be narrowed down to home town, date of birth etc.
Could someone please explain how to achieve this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Stefano

  • Can I backup two devices (with different documents) to one iCloud account?  For example: iPad and iPhone, not everything is synced between the two, but I would like to backup each (seperately in the cloud), is this possible?

    Hello Apple Community,
Can I backup two devices (with different documents) to one iCloud account?
For example: iPad Air and iPhone 5, not everything is synced between the two, but I would like to backup each (seperately in the cloud).  Is this possible?
This way when I change from an old ipad to a new, I can restore with the ipad backup, and when I change from an old iphone to a new, I can restore from the
    iphone backup.
    Thank you in advance!

Terminology check here. Do you really mean a "CD"?  There's a difference in Cloud behavior between content from a physical CD you ripped (which only has Cloud content if you have iTunes Match) and an "album" you bought from the iTunes Store.
    Read references for Home Sharing.
iTunes: How to share music and video - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2688 - about Music Sharing and Home Sharing
Home Sharing Support page - http://www.apple.com/support/homesharing/
iOS: Setting up Home Sharing on your device - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4557 - "With Home Sharing in iOS 4.3 or later, you can stream your entire iTunes library over your home Wi-Fi network from your Mac or PC right to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch."
The above can get pretty complicated.  You are probably best off by syncing both devices to a single library and/or updating the libraries on both computers to have the same content.

  • Is possible to sign a Captive runtime bundle executable in mac with a mac distribution using codesign (to avoid security Alert)

    Hi, again:
Is possible to sign a Captive runtime executable (.app) in mac with a mac distribution certificate using codesign (to avoid security Alert)?
Considering that Flash Builder does not allow you to create an unsigned .app (captive).
Basically, apparently is imposible to do it, when I try codesign always return a: part of the bundle is sealed.
Please anyone there can help me to solve this?
    Thank you.

  • Apps for different clients with one creative cloud license

Can I publish apps for different clients with one single edition license on creative cloud?

Well, "should" is about as good as it gets, no one is going to enforce that, and it's certainly making me think very very hard about whether to bother with a pro licence again in August!
And yes I'm very much aware of the few advantages of the Pro Licence, I do need to see some much bigger differentiators to justify the extra cost though!

  • How to FaceTime and iMessage on multiple apple devices with one iTunes account

We recently received iPad 2's for Christmas and was looking for some advice on how to FaceTime and iMessage on multiple apple devices with One iTunes Account (Apple Id).  I have created or attached other e-mail addresses to our apple id but do not know how to use them on the new devices.  Our home MacBook Pro uses our main apple id for FaceTime.  The iPads have been setup with the main apple id w/o being able to use FaceTime and iMessage.
    Please Help...
I appreciate the help and support.

    P and V-
If you are trying to connect to someone with a different Apple ID, I think all the devices should work, but one at a time.
The problem is when you try to connect between two with the same Apple ID.  Once the calling device tries to make the connection, it finds the second device to be "busy".  That is where each needs to use a different E-Mail address when setting it up.
On iOS devices, when you press the Home button to exit an App, the App may still be active in the background, even when the device is sleeping.  If FaceTime or iMessage is merely being active that way, it may be enough to "tie up" the E-Mail address.
From the Home screen, double click your Home button.  You will see a list of recent Apps along the bottom of the screen.  Press and hold on one of them until they start to wiggle.  You will then see a red minus sign on each.  Pressing the minus sign will remove an App from the list, and stop it from working in the background.  (Click the Home button to stop the wiggling, and again to hide the recent Apps.)

  • If I purchased apps with one Itunes account (hotmail) can I convert the apps to an Itunes (ME) account?

I purchased apps with one Itunes account (hotmail).  I then changed my account sign-in to a different email sign-in (ME) because of iCloud.  Can I easily convert the apps to an Itunes (ME) account when an update for each app occurrs?

Did you change your existing iTunes account or did you create a new account ? If you updated the existing account then you should be ok.  But if you created a new account, then as apps are tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded them and they can't be copied or transferred to a different account, only that original account will be able to download any future updates to them or re-download them on a different device.

You don't need to start a new thread - you just use the 'Reply' button at bottom right of the answering post. Anyway as you're here...
You should start by going to System Preferences (or is it called Settings in ML?)>iCloud and clicking the Sign Out button. Then sign back in again. Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you do this (but not from the server) - it will reappear when you sign back in. Alternatively if the message identifies an account which is signed in at System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars you should log out and in there.
