I am having rough time with creating database manually. can anyone help me with the following errors.

Is is still a not enough space problem? i think you have specified 1050m for users01.dbf file, your file system /sisdev04 has something like
1.5gb of free space. it failed because of lack of free space. may be you can reduce your datafile size or try to
create in another filesystem.

Problem with DMGs and error: "No Mountable File Systems"

Problem with DMGs and error: "No Mountable File Systems"
The files are not corrupt. The problem is occurring with all DMGs that are apparently formatted in MS-DOS FAT16. No the file will not mount with Disk utility or any other disk mounter programs I have found.
This is now the second time this occurred and now effects my MBP and my iMac. First time i spent days with Apple support and the only solution was ultimately back up the data, reformat the HD, start over from scratch and reload everything. That lasted about a month before the problem resurfaced and is now an issue on both iMac and MBP.
I tried to identify all the programs I installed immediately before the error, as I am convinced it is the result of a software conflict.
Recent programs includes:
1) upgrading from Parallels 5.5 to 6.0 on both machines.
2) using an HP secure II usb drive and setting up a secure disk.
3) installing new itunes 10
4) new update to Flip For Mac.
The files affected are downloaded dmgs, including personal brain and google earth, both which are formatted in FAT16.
Any help or thoughts? Apple has now spent hours trying and they say i now have to reformat and wipe and start over. That is unacceptable and based on pasted experience the problem is likely to repeat itself. having to wipe and rebuild a HD ever month is not an solution. i need to fid the root problem.
In the meantime, anyone got a real solution on how to extract the data for a DMG using a different method?

Where you able to find the solution, i am having the same problem, all was fine till i install some programs only same one i saw did we both did was flip4mac i uninstalled it but the problem is still there, i also restored and erased the hardrive but im not up to doing that all over again. If you found anything out let me know i would greatly appreciate it

Problem with ora-28000 error

Hi all,
I got a problem with ORA-28000 in my form. In my app, it allows user to try maximum 3 time to logon, if the user fails, his/her user will be locked. The problem is, when Oracle locked that user, in on-error trigger I cannot catch that error and show the error message.

Problems with FL Studio: "Error while creating the ASIO driver."

I'm trying to use ASIO with FL Studio with my SB Live 24-Bit USB sound card. However, whenever I select "Creative ASIO USB" as my output device, I get the message "Insufficient USB Bandwidth. This device will reset to its default ASIO settings.", followed by "Error while creating the ASIO driver."
I've tried unplugging all other USB devices, switching USB ports, using a PCMIA USB 2.0 card, using Monster USB cables; all to no avail. It seems to me that there is plenty of USB bandwidth available but ASIO simply refuses to work.
Here are my laptop's specs (it's ancient but still good enough to run FL Studio):
P4 3.40GHz HT
1024MB PC3200 DDR RAM
SB Live 24-Bit USB sound card
128MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
Any suggestions?

So I guess no one could help me then?
It's OK, though, because I figured out the problem on my own. I had to change the "Device Control" settings in the Control Panel from 16 to 24-bit. Don't know why this would affect USB bandwidth, but whatever.

what dose it mean? both my master tables are not IOT and are locale ones. It seems that only changing to ON DEMAND works. If I use the "REFRESH FORCE START ..NEXT", it also failed.
I have created the materalized view logs with rowid on each master table. I think my script met every prequirement of ON COMMIT.
table owner has "on commit refresh" privilege

After googling on line, someone mentioned that for "ON COMMIT" on join tables, we have to use th old OUTER JOINT syntax (+) on WHERE. The new "outer joint" in FROM clause won't work.
I tested it, it seemed to be true.

Create database fails with ORA-27102 -out of memory

Hi,
I have Solaris 10 server with 16 GB ram. On it there are 10 databases (8 of them 9.2.0.7, and 2 of them 10.2.0.4) running -but they have small SGAs -300 mb each (some even smaller 200 mb or so). Now I have to create two more database on it. When I try to create the db, it fails with the error:
Connected to an idle instance.
ORA-27102: out of memory
SVR4 Error: 22: Invalid argument
And alert log has meesages as below:

Now I tried to change this with this command (as suggested in installation guide):
prctl -n project.max-shm-memory -v 8gb -r -i project user.root
but still I get teh same error. So I refer to Metalink document 399895.1. It says that manually change the settings in /etc/system. this needs a reboot and I got premission to do this reboot tomorrow. Currently there is no project set up for oracle on this server, so the steps I need to do -to make the changes permanent are:

Problem with Sender JDBC adapter while processing the message

I am facing some problem while using the JDBC sender adapter.
Here is the trace where i have seen the Socket Closed problem. But it was for few seconds.
Later on it was working fine. This happens intermittently. So it was very difficult to collect the traces.

continously . Only intermittently. So what could be the reason behind this. It is not remaining for long time.

Loadjava Error while opening file: –resolve Exception java.io.FileNotFound

I'm having Oracle 11gr2 on Windows 2008r2. I have very strange issue while trying to load ordinary Java source. I get error that loadjava can't open file. I'm using the following command in loading:

I load other classes and no issue, even jar files, I don't know what is the problem with this file? Also, it is strange is creating class and loading it has no issue, but the issue comes when resolve.

Put your -resolve flag at the beginning of the list of arguments.
Latest arguments should be files to be uploaded by loadjava.

whith SQLPlus, start and stop the db whith svrmgrl etc.
During this install I chose WE8ISO8859P9 as the database
characterset when prompted.
After that I installed Oracle Application Server 3.02, and now
I'm getting the
ORA-12709: error while loading create database character set
message when I try to start up the database, and the database
won't mount.
Platform is RedHat Linux 5.2.
NLS_LANG set to different settings,
e.g. AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8ISO8859P9
but without success.
Anyone any clue?

You can create the database with WE8DEC character set
and to use the WE8ISO8859P9 on the client or even on Linux.
The NLS_LANG setting doesn't effect the database, but the
interface with the database. The same setting can be used in de
windows 95/98/NT registry.

ORA-12571 error while creating packages from Windows clients

Hello,
We are facing the ORA-12571 error while creating / replacing packages from Windows Clients connected to a 8.1.7.2.0 db on a Solaris server.
However, there are
1. no errors in connecting and creating transactions from a Sql session
2. no errors in creating / replacing unwrapped/wrapped small (few lines) packages
3. no errors in connecting from a Unix session (remote telnet sessions inclusive).
This happens only when creating wrapped/unwrapped packages, source code of which is greater than 500 kb approx.
Can somebody help me resolve this issue. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I had unintentionally left my custom tablespace in READONLY state after an earlier experiment with transportable tablespaces. After putting the tablespace back into READ WRITE mode and creating a new template, I was successfully able to create a new db from the template.
I'm still a little curious why this procedure wouldn't work properly with a READONLY tablespace, however.
