i was created the cube. the partitions are created date wise in dynamical with ssis and process the the partitions also dynamically and
dimension also process and how to refresh the cube and partitions and measures and
dimension process
how to create the that package

According to your description, you want to use SSIS package to create cube partition. Right?
In Integrated Services, you can create cube partition with script task. Using the script task, you can save and modify partition through AMO (Analysis Management Objects). Please refer to the link below:

If you use the Fast Recovery Area, by default Oracle will dump archivelogs into date-named directories ("directories" = "folders" for those wedded to their GUI)

Adding new infoobject to cube with data

Hi experts
Our cube contains data and is fully compressed (E-table), there is are no requests in F-table.
We need to add 2 key figures and 2 characteristics.
The characteristics get a new dimension table.
We don't use the remodel technique. We add these new infoobjects.
There is no need for a reload of historical data for these new objects.
We only need data starting from the first load date after the changes occured.
Are there any errors in this approach?

When you are adding a new dimension to your cube - you are adding a primary key to your E and F Fact tables - therefore when your transport goes it - it will reorganize your cube tables.
For this - assuming that you are collecting the changes in the normal way and not changing any settings ....
1. Check the UNDO table space in target system , the UNDO table space should have enought free space available that will be greater than the size of your E and F Fact table sizes - because , the way the transport moves is that a copy of the table is taken in the undo table space in the database and then the tables are adjusted - if your undo table space is insufficient - the transport will fail after some time
2. If this is a big cube - then the transport will take time to go in - if BASIS imports transport requests in sequence - then this transport will hold the queue and might delay others whi have smaller transports.... make sure that your transport goes in last if there are others waiting for you to complete
3. Also inform BASIS that the transport is going to take time - sometimes long running transports can get the BASIS team excited :-)
These are not technical but some bases that can be covered in advance...

How can we see the date wise stock quantity and value in Query using cube 0IC_C03.
Example:Suppose i want to see what was my stock quantity and stock value on 25th Jan08.

Restrict the Key figure value and quantity with the date.
OR
Go to the key figure in RSA1-> Info objects -> Double click on ur key figure-> Go to the aggregation tab Specify exception aggregation as last value and reference char as 0calday.
This will give u the stock on the last day.
If u want to do it in bex
Create a Calculated Key figure put ur key figure in. And right click select the properties select exception aggregation last value and reference char as 0calday.

Date wise (GR DATE) invoice verification

Hello friends,
In my PO there are 20 itmes(item1-item20). according to my business process, I have to receive multiple times for each item of PO. again I received the goods from my vendor on different date.
So i have to give my payment on weekly basis.
but when i go to MIRO SCREEN,after giving my PO number and ITEM no, all the GRs are coming,but i have to pay a very few of them. so i have to deselect all the line items correoponds to those GR which i have to pay later.
but my PO and GR number is so much that, it requirs a more time to clear the invoice.
is there any standard setting in MIRO, so that i can payment to vendor date wise according to their receiving date.
example.
my po number 47000001, there are 1-20 items.item no-1 having 4000 pc.
for item no-1
gr num 5000001- 10 pc 09.05.2009
           5000002- 80 pc 09.05.2009
           5000003- 90 pc 10.05.2009
           5000004- 57 pc 11.05.2009
           5000005- 123 pc 12.05.2009
           5000006- 92 pc   13.05.2009
now i want pay the vendor upto 11.05.2009, (so i have to pay only for gr 5000001,2,3,4).
so i have to deselect the item no against GR number 5000005 and 5000006.
can it be done automatoically, or is there any report so that it can be done easily.
because I have to invoiced more than 200 PO daily.

i tried in some other similer way..
in migo give the actual delivery note # and post it .
while doing IR, select the delivery note option in item details and then click the arrow mark (more allocation crieteria) , u will get a pop up screen of reference to delivery notes , there select F4 , again u will get another window of possible entires of delivery note ,
there give the vendor and po nbr and IN THE SELECTION FOR THE DELIVERY NOTE BOX , SELECT THE THE DOC DATE OR POSTING DATE ,which ever u like
.ie. if u want to post IR for the material whcih are rec'd on 12-04 to 15-04 , enter tthe required date here and EXCUTE, HERE U WILL GET THE DOC WHICH ARE POSTED ON 12.04 TO 15-04 .. SO HERE U SELECT AND ADOPT , IT WILL COPY TO refece delviery note column and now select the adopt, now in miro u will have the doc whihc are posted on 12-4 to 15-4 .

Creation of the export data source failed

trying to activate ods but getting this message that the creation of the export data source failed.
and it also gives message that RFC Connection to source system is damaged===> no metadata upload
Please can someone help me with this.

Hi,
Check ur source system connection. by going to RSA1-> Source System-> right click and then select check.
U will get the info about the source system Connection. IF RFC has failed then better be in touch with ur basis.
Or try restoring ur source system connection by
Source system-> Restore.
Its sets all the default conenctions b/n ur systems.
Once again check the connection now. if it says ok.. then try do the export data source and then assign the data source to info source and then maintain the Update rules..

Sharepoint 2013 Reporting Services & OLAP Cubes for Data Modeling.

I've been using PowerPivot & PowerView in Excel 2013 Pro for some time now so am now eager to get set up with Sharepoint 2013 Reporting Services.
Before set up Reporting Services I have just one question to resolve.
What are the benefits/differences of using a normal flat table set up, compared to an OLAP cube?
Should I base my Data Model on an OLAP Cube or just Connect to tables in my SQL 2012 database?
I realize that OLAP Cubes aggregate data making it faster to return results, but am unclear if this is needed with Data Modeling for Sharepoint 2013.

So yes, PV is an in-memory cube. When data is loaded from the data source, it's cached in memory, and stored (compressed) in the Excel file. (also, same concept for SSAS Tabular mode... loads from source, cached in mem, but also stored (compressed) in data
files, in the event that the server reboots, or something similar).
As far as performance, tabular uses memory, but has a shorter load process (no ETL, no cube processing)... OLAP/MDX uses less memory, by requiring ETL and cube processing... technically tabular uses column compression, so the memory consumption will be based
on the type of data (numeric data is GREAT, text not as much)... but the decision to use OLAP (MDX)/TAB (DAX) is just dependent on the type of load and your needs... both platforms CAN do realtime queries (ROLAP in multidimensional, or DirectQuery for tabular),
or can use their processed/in-memory cache (MOLAP in multidimensional, xVelocity for tabular) to process queries.
if you have a cube, there's no need to reinvent the wheel (especially since there's no way to convert/import the BIDS/SSDT project from MDX to DAX). If you have SSAS 2012 SP1 CU4 or later, you can connect PV (from Excel OR from within SP) directly to the
MDX cube.
Generally, the benefit of PP is for the power users who can build models quickly and easily (without needing to talk to the BI dept)... SharePoint lets those people share the reports with a team... if it's worthy of including in an enterprise warehouse,
it gets handed off to the BI folks who vet the process and calculations... but by that time, the business has received value from the self-service (Excel) and team (SharePoint) analytics... and the BI team has less effort since the PP model includes data sources
and calculations - aside from verifying the sources and calculations, BI can just port the effort into the existing enterprise ETL / warehouse / cubes / reports... shorter dev cycle.

Converting STO s to deliveries by date wise not location wise

At the time of converting STOs to deliveries, and especially so for CWH, the system logic takes it location wise and not date wise. We need to have prioritisation when doing en mass conversion the STOs should be picked up on FIFO basis. This is hurting despatches of especially CHD, where we first prioritise despatches against Back Orders and then resume despatches for normal requirement. Now, because of the system logic, since destination wise STOs are getting converted into deliveries, some CFA may not get even his Back Order requirement whereas another CFA could get additional over and above his BO requirement. We need to have a change in the system logic.

Detla Infopackage Creation problem at Generic data source

Hi Experts..
In 7.0 BI I'm loading data in infoCube through generic data source ( type Table View). I have loaded the data first time ie Full mode. Now I would like to change update mode full to Delta. i have tried to create new infoPackage with DELTA Update MODE but this option is not available. as i have used Transformation and DTP to fetch the data in Info cube. in data souce Generic Delta is enabled at Numeric pointer.
your help will highly appreciable.

You have to fill in the Delta-Specific Field Name for any of the options. Numeric pointer is usually a document number that is guaranteed to increment with every change. This would not be a good choice for documents that can be changed after initial creation, or for number ranges that are buffered across application servers (unless you can set the safety limits to compensate).
After that, create and run an init InfoPackage, then you will be able to create a delta InfoPackage.

stock, value. if you double click the article you will get the details of storage location.

MB5B Report for Date Wise Stock and Value

Hi,
I am Taking MB5B Report for Date Wise Stock and Value.
But I have one doubt all stocks is coming or not in these report like Unrestrected Stock,Return Stock.Blocked stock,Transist stock,Restrected Stock,qty Inspection Stock.
I have another Doubt in these report three Stock type indicaters are there like these.
1.Storage Location / Batch Stock
2.valuated Stock
3.Special Stock.
But i have one doubt what is defferent these

Yes MB5B report consider the Unrestricted, Quality, Blocked, Transit stock and restricted stock. Not sure about Return Stock.
If you select the Storage location/Batch stock radio button then the system will display all the possible stock from the storage location and the corresponding batch also.
If you select Valuated stock radio button then system will show only the valuated stock not the Non-valuated stock. Because Non-valuated material type is available in SAP system will not show those stock suppose if you select the Valuated stock radio button.

Open Date-wise G/L selection

What is the table for selection of G/L Account line item for open items date-wise, I took BSIS table but when i select data for particular date(BUDAT) in my report the amount is mismatch to T_code(fbl3n).
If i want to select the back date data then defiantly that data was cleared as today date and will not found in BSIS table, so please can you help me how to get data for date-wise.
Coz my client want if he select the particular date then what ever unclear (open) item data as on selected date is display.

Please check the following logic.
e.g.
Posting date : 01.08.2010
Clearing Date : > or = to 01.08.2010.
Put the above logic in the program, so that it'll fetch the open records which are on back date.
