  • Multiple Production ordersfor one sales order.

    Hi Gurus,
We have a typical MTO scenario where depending on the requirement, a planned order is converted in to production order using MD04 or using CO08.
But when both are done, system is not throwing any error message or information message that the production order is already raised. Instead both the production orders are raised and in MD04 for one sales order we can find 2 production orders. i.e the required quantity is doubled. Even system is accepting the confirmation of these production orders.
In this case an end user can raise any number of production orders for one sales order using CO08.
Kindly suggest me any settings which could restrict the raise of multiple production orders for one sales order.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Warm Rgds,
    Ganapathi Varma

    Hy Ganpathi,
CO08 is manual Creation , so it is difficult to put such a control. Why you are not using sales order ---> Plan order --- >Production order means proper channel of MRP?
Pls try to control it by using Following User Exits.
    - PPCO0006 Enhancement to predefine fields in order header
    - PPCO0021    Enhancement for Order Release
But I this type of control creates problem when you really required new prod Order due to Malfunction or any other problem earlier order gets stuck up (less yield to complete the sales order)

  • Multiple Schemas under one user account with XE 10g

    Hi,
I am using (learning) XE 10g. I would like to know if it is possible to have multiple schemas under one user account and have the schemas logically separated. As of right now, I have three schemas that I am working with, each one under a different user account. This is inconvenient, because I have to logout of one user account and login to another user account simply to be able to work with another schema.
    Thanks

It isn't possible to have multiple schemas under one database user account. It is of course possible to grant rights to other database users, and or roles, in order to allow access to the tables/data from other accounts. In Oracle there is a one-one mapping between schema and user.

  • Advise on using DBMS_XA with multiple branches under one global transaction

    Dear all
I need some advise on using DBMS_XA from PL/SQL with tightly coupled multiple branches under one global transaction. Basically, I've successfully written some PL/SQL code that in 3 different sessions attaches to 3 different branches of one global transaction and before ending each branch they can see each others uncommitted data. So far so good.
However, I'm not sure I completely understand how each branch must call xa_end, xa_prepare and xa_commit correctly using two phase commit and my calls result in errors like:
ORA-24767: transaction branch prepare returns read-only (XA error code 3 = Transaction was read-only and has been committed)
ORA-24756: transaction does not exist (XA error code -4 = XID is not valid)
ORA-02051: another session or branch in same transaction failed or finalized
This is the structure of my programs (3 SQL*Plus sessions):
main: Uses xid 123|0 (branch 0 of global transaction 123). This should be the coordinator that commits using two phase commit across the 3 branches
    m1.xa_start tmnoflags
    m2.DML
m3.Wait for thread A + B to manually be started and run xa_end
    m4.xa_end tmsuccess
    m5.xa_prepare
    m6.xa_commit false
thread A: Uses xid 123|A (branch A of global transaction 123)
    a1.xa_start tmnoflags
a2.DML -- thread A can see main and thread B's data
    a3.xa_end tmsuccess
    a4.xa_prepare -- required?
a5.Should we also call xa_commit false?
thread B: Uses xid 123|B (branch B of global transaction 123)
    b1.xa_start tmnoflags
b2.DML -- thread B can see main and thread A's data
    b3.xa_end tmsuccess
    b4.xa_prepare -- required?
b5.Should we also call xa_commit false?
    The failing steps are:
    m5
    m6
    a4
    a5
    b4
    b5
    Before starting calling xa_end I see 3 rows in V$GLOBAL_TRANSACTION, eg (hex 7B = decimal 123):
FORMATID GLOBALID BRANCHID BRANCHES REFCOUNT PREPARECOUNT STATE FLAGS COUPLING
    203348753 0000007B 00000000000000000000000000000000 3 3 0 ACTIVE 0 TIGHTLY COUPLED
    203348753 0000007B 0000000000000000000000000000000A 3 3 0 ACTIVE 0 TIGHTLY COUPLED
    203348753 0000007B 0000000000000000000000000000000B 3 3 0 ACTIVE 0 TIGHTLY COUPLED
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Cheers

OK, I've figured it out. This is poorly documented as it's not well explained how to handle the various return codes. Turns out that all but the last xa_prepare calls return dbms_xa.xa_rdonly (tightly coupled branches are combined -- "read only" optimization), the last one returns dbms_xa.xa_ok and this is when you should call xa_commit.
Now my next problem is that DBMS_XA doesn't work from within jobs (DBMS_JOB and DBMS_SCHEDULER), which makes it very difficult to use DBMS_XA. My purpose of using DBMS_XA is to coordinate work across multiple sessions in one transaction but if I can't easily create the multiple sessions, I'm stuck.
When called from a job, xa_start throws:
ORA-24789: start not allowed in recursive call
on Oracle 11.2. In Oracle 11.1 it works, but xa_end fails with
    ORA-25352: no current transaction
so I guess in fact the xa_start call didn't really work either, even though it returned tm_ok.
I'm now trying to find a workaround on how to use DBMS_XA from within jobs, please comment if you have any suggestions. Or if you have any suggestions on other means of establishing the concurrent sessions (I wouldn't like to resort to external programs that need username/password to connect as password management would be a security issue).
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers

  • Can there by multiple accounts under one id?  I just loaded a $25 gift card and it showed up in my balance.  My daughter, under the same id had $12.0 left from a previous gift card.  Now only the $12.01 shows up and the $25 is nowhere to be found?

Can there be multiple accounts under one apple id?  My daughter and wife apparently share an id between my daughter's ipod and my wife's ipad.  My daughter has what she believes is her $12.01 left from a gift card.  My wife loaded a $25 gift card recently (I saw the $25 balance in her account when she was done) and after a password change, now all that shows up is the $12.01?

    Greetings,
I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
    Good Luck - Cheers,
    M.

  • Multiple subnets under one vlan

    Hi everyone,
Is there any way to create multiple subnets under one VLAN ? Right now, I am using VLAN 110 and it's IP is 172.16.0.1/16.
We have three types of devices on this VLAN.I want to create 3 or 4 subnets for those devices under this VLAN for reducing the traffic or broadcast ?
    Please advise me.....
    Thanks in advance

    Mohammed,
As long as you have a single VLAN only, you will not reduce the amount of broadcasts in this VLAN by using several IP networks. Even if the stations are in different IP networks within a single VLAN, every broadcast will be sent across the entire VLAN to all stations, regardless of their configured IP address. Broadcasting is a matter of Data Link Layer, or Layer2, and if you keep a single Layer2 domain (the VLAN), you will keep a single, merged, large broadcast domain.
Just to answer your question, you could assign multiple addresses to an interface in a single network/VLAN by using secondary IP addresses, for example:
    interface Vlan110
    ip address 172.16.0.1 255.255.0.0
    ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 secondary
    ip address 10.20.30.1 255.255.255.0 secondary
However, as I explained, this will only allow you to "stretch" multiple IP networks over a single broadcast domain so there is no saving in terms of broadcasts or traffic reduction. For that, you must resort to multiple VLANs.
    Best regards,
    Peter

  • Multiple purchase orders for one sales order: ME59

    Hi,
I have issue with converting sales order into a purchase order.
A standard third party sales order (type TAS) with multiple line items is being converted to a single purchase order.
In case of a free of charge sales order (type FD) with multiple line items, each line item is being converted to an individual PO.
The difference between TAS and FD is the item catecory and schedule line category.
In both the above cases only one purchase requisition is being created per sales order. The issue is when this PR is being converted to a PO. (ME59 is used to convert the PR).
Is there any setting/config which is driving the multiple PO creation based on either schedule line category or the account assignment category setup in the schedule line category?
    Please advice...
    Thanks,
    KSB

    Any ideas?

  • Multiple delivery for one Sales Order?

I have been searching for the subject in forum....i dint get any possible answers? So in never the case multiple delivery will be attached to sales order ???
Thanks in advance for your valuable comments...
    Thanks
    Hari

The same concept told earlier for shipments holds good here.
We can have n number of deliveries for a single sales order.
One of the example is Availiblity check.
If all the items in an SO is NOT confirmed at once, multiple deliveries are to be made for that SO.
So, Depending on the business case, we can have reasons, why an SO can have multiple deliveries.

  • Multiple Sales Order in one Delivery Order

Is it possible to create a delivery order with multiple sales order in it ? Does it need any additional configuration or the basic SD Module in SAP can support this kind of transaction?
Anyone can advise me on this issue as my experience in SAP SD Module is not more than a year. Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Heng,
The sales orders can be combined in one delivery if the following parameters are same for those orders:
    1) Delivery date for the materials( schedule line tab)
    2) Ship to party is same for them
    3) Shipping point is same for all of them.
If all the above parameters are same then you can goto transaction VL10A and can put your aboce 3 parameters and execute the transaction.
All the orders will have one delivery order in that case.
    Reward points if it helps.

  • Is it possible to combine multiple IR into one Internal order?

    Hi,
Is it possible to combine multiple internal requisitions into one internal order in OM? Thanks
    Regards
    Leo

Oracle Order Management provides one to one mapping between Order and (orig_sys_document_ref & Order source). You may need to go for custom solution to consolidate requisitions to create a single internal sales order.

  • Split deliveries/shipments when having multiple vendors on one sales order.

When creating a sales order (ZOST) in VA01 if there are multiple vendors represented on the order the process wants to split the shipment/delivery of the items on the order. This problem manifests itself when the vendor is being brought forward to the billing document for chargeback purposes. Suggested fixes are to do an enhancement in the Vistex CB program to source vendor ID from the material master or use VK11 to allow Vistex to source Vendor ID for chargebacks. Is this the result of a configuration problem in SAP or is it standard that SAP can not bring forward multiple vendors on a line item basis from sales order to billing document?

    Hi
To know t he reasons of splitting in deliveries, see SAP Note 546668 - FAQ: Delivery split when creating deliveries.
If you want other criteria to define split in deliveries, see SAP Note 166397 - Delivery split according to customer field ZUKRL.
    I hope this helps you

  • Multiple quotation for one sales order

    Hi all,
My requirment is to create one sale order that reference from many quotations.  From what I try in CRM, when I want to create a follow-up document, I have to start from the quotation and choose create follow-up document then the sale order will be created. However, that's only good for one quotation one sale order.
What I want is to have a sale order that referenced from many quotations, is this possible in CRM?
Thanks in advance for all the helps.

    Hi Gilbert,
As u rightly said one quotation one sale order as a folow up.
But u can make use of <b>Object Relationship Profile</b>, to be added in ur transaction type of sales order.
So after creating a sales order in refernce to a quotation, u can add other quotation in the Relationship tab which gets added to the Transaction screen.
This will also update the document flow.
The object Relationship Profile can be added in trnasaction type as well as Item Category.

  • Clubbing of down Payment under one Purchase Order for a customer

    Hi
We have a client requirement in which the client wants to view all the down payments entered under one PO for a particular customer to together so that it helps in preparing invoice. How do we do it ans is there any standard SAP report available for it?
    Subir Didwania

    Hi
I had faced the same problem a few days back. The client in my case entered the customer 's PO Number in the reference field while posting the down payment. There is a standard SAP report FBL5N for customer. You need to go to change layout button (Cntrl+F8). A pop up will appear which will show the displayed fields on the left hand side and the hidden fields on the right hand side. select the reference number field on the right hand side (From the hidden fields) and add so that it appears in the displayed fields list. Click on the copy button. The new layout will appear for the data selected. Next click on the filter button (Contrl +F11). Again a pop up will appear. Select the ref number field on the right hand side and add to left column. then click on the right button. The system will then apply the filter and ask you for the reference number in which you can enter the PO number for which you want to display the details
Hope this meets your requirement. assign points if the information is useful to you

  • Collective conversion of planned order to one production order

    Dear all,
    1. I have N number of pld ord for same material so i need to convert as production order with cumulative quantity.
Because to reduce  Issing and confirming and receiving of number of production orders.
    2. I need to create Number of production order with diffferent material numbers  in one screen with different production order number.
Because per day i need to create more number of production order with different material number. If i create one by one it will consume more time as well as its not practical possible for our business scenario.
Pls let me know any standards are available in SAP.
    Regards,
    S.Suresh.

    Dear Suresh,
You can convert Planned Orders into Production order collectively as a mass maintanance in CO41 Tcode.
Revert if any doubt in case using above tcode.
Further if you wish to have one production order against multiple planned orders it is not possible as per Standard SAP.
You can convert to each planned order into individual production order not to single production order.
If you wish clubbed production order then better you use Individual / Collective Indicator  as
    2     Collective requirements only
Then you will get cumulative planned orders only against each material and you can convert all of them cumulatively to production orders in CO41 as a mass maintanance.
    Hope your problem resolves.

  • MTO material - Combine three planned orders into one process order

    Hi Gurus,
Does anyone know if and how I can convert three planned orders of the same material into one process order?
    So:
    1.
Sales order 1 (material X) --> generates Planned order 1
Sales order 2 (material X) --> generates Planned order 2
Sales order 3 (material X) --> generates Planned order 3
    2.
    Process orders 1,2,3 (material X) --> Process order 1
    3.
Process order 1 --> reserved sales order stock for sales orders 1,2 and 3

    M,
One process order cannot create Sales Order Stock for three different sales order items.  A single process order can produce Sales order stock for AT MOST 1 sales order/item.
This scenario can be achieved under a Make to Stock environment, where the production order creates 'generic' stock (not sales order specific).
