Creative Cloud desktop App for Mac crashes and does not work

Installed creative cloud for MAC (running OSX 10.9). App does not run. I see the Creative Cloud icon at top of screen (in menu) for about 0.5 seconds then it disappears. No error messages or warnings. I have tried to uninstall and install the desktop app many times with the same results. It appears there is no way to download the LR CC and PS CC that I paid for.
I have even tried to run this from another dmim account. Same error.
I have run disk utility - repair disk and repair permissions.
Please can someone help me with this issue?

Are you getting Error code 1 while running CreativeCloudInstaller.dmg file ?
If so , follow below steps :
Important : Launch Activity Monitor and "Force Quit" all the process related to Adobe like Creative Cloud setup, CoreSync, AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon from Activity monitor.
1)
Click on the Finder and look for the options listed next to Apple Icon located at the top left corner of the Desktop screen and click on "Go" menu button and select "Utilities" option.
(Applications>Utiliites)
Locate Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager folder under Utilities window and trash both folders.
2)
Click on the below link and download & run Adobe Cleaner tool :
Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click on "Clean up Selected" .

Creative cloud desktop app blank - Mac

Hi,
I have been experiencing the issue with a "blank" screen when logged into the Creative Cloud Desktop. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the desktop app multiple times and still no screen or visible apps. Also, I followed the instructions in locating the OOBE folder... I was unable to locate the file suggested to change even after making all hidden files visible. In my recent attempt to locate this file the entire OOBE folder has been deleted (I am unable to locate this folder anywhere on my computer or trash) and I am still experiencing the "blank" screen when logged in. How would I go about fixing this all across the board? Would I need to reinstall all of adobe and its apps? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Please try below steps:
1> Uninstall Creative Cloud Desktop app. (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html#Uninstall apps)
2> Navigate to the OOBE folder:
Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
Note: The <user account>/Library/ folder is hidden after OS 10.7, follow the instructions here to access it: Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 Lion
Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
rename OOBE to OOBE.old
Then install Creative Cloud from below given link:

New Skype crashes and does not work.

the new skype crashes all the time it does not work. even trying to read the type gives people va headache we should all complain at once get them to fire the idiots that designed it and put it back the way it was. skype does not even connect to internet most of the time. they do not even have the staff to fix it

My creative Cloud desktop app just keeps spinning and I can't sync my computers

I have been trying to sync my desktop to my laptop and my creative could app just keeps spinning and spinning. Internet works. I am signed in. When I say to sync now, it take a long time and goes through the process and then says it can't connect to the internet, yet I am on the Internet and my account is open. When I look at the desktop app, the Home page just keeps spinning and spinning. All programs are up to date. HELP!

Replacing the LCD it's quite simple, just requires a lot of work and the correct tools, keep in mind that doing so will void your warranty and your phone might not be waterproof after this.

App store for Mac hangs and does not open

When I click on the app store icon on my desk top, it just bobs and never opens. However it is running in the background as my computer starts moving very slowly and hangs if I try to restart or shut down.
How do I fix this?

Hey guys,
My app stores was actually working very well when I first downloaded the update. I actually bought 2 applications.
It's now behaving as described above, bounces for a bit then I get "App Store quite unexpectedly"
I initially installed the Combo update knowing it's virtues, I later reinstalled and repaired permissions, no luck. I even trashed the App Store and repeated the Combo install with a permission repair.
If there is anything I can Suspect, it maybe Clean My Mac, I used the software once last week, but i don't recall a clear connection between it and the App Store behaving as such.
further, I'd like to add that surprisingly the Dock icon is showing me a Badge with the number of software updates... strange.
Any help or suggestions would be highly appreciated!

I decided that I re-installed a new OS.X Yosemite so I will completely formatted the disk (because of some problems I have). Now I have Maverick on MacBook pro retina.
Do I need to deactivate creative claude before formatting the disc, and if so, how?
Where can I get Creative Cloud Desktop APP to install Photoshop and Lightroom and other aplications (download link for MAC).
What is the procedure in this case (when I format the disk and re-install the programs on the same computer).

I've downloaded and installed the Creative Cloud desktop app, but it crashed within 10 seconds of opening. I've tried deleting all the files and re-installing, plus signing in and out.

It seems that "Appdata" folder is hidden, we simply have to un-hide this folder.
Solution 1:
Please try :Show hidden files - Windows Help
Solution 2:
Click on start button
Click on run
Type : "%localappdata%"
Then, click go to Adobe> OOBE.
It should work.

Creative Cloud Desktop App Slows All Browsers

True for both Chrome and Safari on a Mac, one running Mavericks and one running Lion. When Creative Cloud is active in the menu bar, the browsers slow down so much I can't even type an address in the menu bar without minutes of lag. Not seconds, MINUTES.
I always have a browser open, and I want to be able to use Typekit fonts on my desktop through Creative Cloud - but now I can't do both. This has serious consequences for my work flow.
I've tested this thoroughly, and it comes down to one thing: I can run a browser, OR I can run Creative Cloud Desktop. I can't run both. Please fix this, Adobe!!!
UPDATE:
The only way to get my system back to normal was to (yet again) uninstall the Creative Cloud Desktop app, run the cleaner, and re-install it. Simply deactivating the Typekit fonts still left me with a laggy, hanging, slow CC app. So - the problem is either Typekit or the CC app, or a combination of the two. What a freaking pain. This stuff is supposed to just work.

Creative Cloud Desktop App stays black on installation

I 've been trying to install CC on my new laptop running Windows 8. Tried numerous times, including deleting the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE folder, but to no avail. An Adobe rep just helped me out with this. It turned out that you had to specify the Graphic Setting for the Adobe CC App (this is in the Switchable Graphics Specification Settings).

Please launch CC desktop. At the right hand side top you will see a drop down arrow. From there select preferences. Select Apps and change the language to English.

Java applet works in windows and does not work in linux

I'm working with site which is located in vpn network at work.
I use browsers firefox 3 and opera.
When I want to open java applet using firefox or opera at first everything is fine then on the last stage of loading(judging by progress bar) applet hangs(progress bar hangs) and when I reload page firefox shows in the bottom bar: applet <applet's name> bail.
In windows everything works both in ie6 and firefox 3.
On both environments I have the jre 6 installed.
please help!

Ok, I installed ies4linux and jre 1.5.16. I can work with that but when I start applet screen goes black and window frames dissapear.
To solve this problem(feature?) I disabled DirectX-based acceleration for Java 2D but that works for javacpl.exe and does not work for my applet.
