Creative Cloud : what about the resellers?

Hi,
I'm surprised that nobody (and Adobe in the first place) has a word for all these resellers (I'm not one of them) who distributed their boxes around the world, helping them make their products successful. Before, they call them their partners. Now we know what partnership means for Adobe and how they reward both reseller and customer loyalty.

I work for one of Adobe's channel "partners," and we are selling Creative Cloud to our clients, at least to those that are willing to make the jump at the moment. We are also selling CS6 licenses, and will be able to continue to do so, from what Adobe have said, for the foreseeable future.
Personally, Adobe will not see another penny from me while I can still run CS5/6, and given that my OS is Win7 Pro 64bit, that probably means 20yrs or so! LOL! I don't make a living from Photoshop, and never upgraded on every release, so the increased cost is simply out of the question, plus I find the subscription model Adobe have come up with, stop paying and you got nuthin', completely unacceptable.
For my professional clients, CC has definite advantages and I have no qualms recommending it, plus, let's face it, it's a fait accompli, they will get on-board, either now or in the future, for someone like me, it doesn't make sense. Adobe have decided that from a business perspective, people like me don't matter... thanks guys, it's been fun.

    Spend a little time looking through the posts on this section of the forum and others and you will soon learn that the Cloud is it, nothing else, you subscribe forever, the software stops working when you cease to pay, its full of bugs
    With CS6 you have a perpetual license and will be able to use the software as long as you have a PC or Mac that can run it, so what more do you want.
    If you move to the CC you need to seek medical help, the CC is for idiots only.
    So many users of the CC are so thick that they cannot see that the cost of the CC version is way more than a CS upgrade from version X to version Y.
    CC is for new users only, a seemingly cheap way to get and use the software, but for seasoned users Adobe just does not give a damn.
    At least there are alternatives for the applications I use and it is there where my cash is going.
    Stick with CS6 as long as you can, think about how much you can save saying with CS6,

    Error 201 indicates that the download of the installation files was unable to be resumed successfully.  I would recommend utilizing a different Internet connection.  If you are connected via WiFi try a wired connection.  If you are connected via a wired connection then please try a different cable

    The creative cloud complete plan has all the applications including Lightroom and Photoshop and there is a Photography plan which only includes Photoshop and Lightroom.

    What happened yesterday may have been caused by the SOPA protest action that was joined by a lot of sites yesterday and such an action won't happen that often.

    Alauda_positos I would recommend reviewing your installation log files to determine the exact directory which the installer is unable to access.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors discovered to this discussion.
