Creative Suite licence WIN+MAC

HI.
I have Creative Suite CS6 on my desktop. Now is the situation, that i need to buy for my bussines trip notebook. From many notebooks from the resseler is only one hardware acceptable for me - MacbookPro (CUDA, IPS, i7, 15,6"). But Im WindowsMan. So, is there any way to use one licence to two computers (desktop + notebook) but notebbok will have different OS? I dont want to buy another Creative Suite.

No, it's not possible. Standalone licenses are platform-specific. Only Creative Cloud allows cross-platform use.

Just install and activate CS4 on your new Macbook. No special steps required.
You're permitted up to two activations with each license, so you'll effectively be using your second activation on the new computer.
To free up the activation from the old macbook and use it elsewhere, you'll have to call Adobe since you can no longer de-activate it at your end.

Cross-Platform Adobe Creative Suite 4 For Mac From Windows

I am having quite a unusual problem. The problem is that I have a copy of Adobe Creative Suite from my company that is meant for Windows, and it will not install on a mac. Does anyone know of a way to install a windows native Adobe Suite on a Mac platform? I have tried using a emulator called wine, but every time I get into the setup when the system is checking compatibility the entire thing is halted. I do not have access to any windows machine, and installing a Virtual Machine is out of the question. I also considered swapping the windows version of the software with the Adobe company, but then I would have to destroy the disk of my company. Any help on installing Adobe creative suite 4 meant for a Windows platform on a mac? Emulation etc?

Error 16 - problem transferring creative suite to new mac

I am trying to transfer my creative suite files to a new MacBookPro and when i try to open an application i get error message 16 and a note saying i should uninstall and reinstall - i have not 'installed' the suite, merely transferred them from my back-up drive.

properly install using the installation files.
at this point, uninstall (if you can),clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then properly install.

If it is a Creative Suite that is licensed for a PC then it is not licensed to run on Mac - you need a Mac version and licensing to go with it. In any case, you can not run the same suite on both platforms. If it happens to be CS6 then you can swap for the Mac platform version but that will require giving up the PC version.

Adobe Creative Suite 3 for mac

Hi, I have adobe creative suite 2 Design premium for mac and it's not working right now because i had to get my computer fixed and when I restored the application none of the adobe programs are running. I still have the original disc but my cd drive is not working. is there a way to download the suite online and then use my serial number to active it?
If anyone has an idea how to do that please help. I know it's out dated but i can't afford to buy the new suite and this one still gets the job done.

Is it possible to use a serial key from Creative suite from a Mac on a PC?

I'm going to hopefully get CS6 for mac, but it's not my mac and when I get my own computer it will probably be Windows. Can I use the serial key from the Mac version on a Windows version?

Adobe currently licenses the Creative Suite for Mac or Windows not for both, however you can change your license from Mac to Windows or Windows to Mac by contacting support.

Worth noting that while you will be able to transfer your license from the Mac to the PC you will no longer be able to use the software on the Mac as a result.

I recently bought a mac, so I can't use my product on it. Also, I'm not eligible to swap my product with mac version and I don't want to upgrade it. So, I'm trying to find a way to use my product on my mac. Can I sell my product's serial number? I can't sell the product it self because I'm outside the US. What can I do to use my product? Thanks…

Unless you install Windows on that Mac, no. You cannot sell a student version but you can use it to upgrade to CS6 or to move to Creative Cloud.

I purchased the Creative Suite Master Collection back in 2010 and have been running it on my macbook pro. However I've had to get a desktop to run more powerful media software.
Is there any way that I can move my purchased software to use with Windows? I don't have thousands of dollars to re buy these products just to work on a different computer. I have the installation disks for mac, what can I do? Am I basically screwed?

You need to upgrade to CS6 and make the platform switch or sign up for Creative Cloud.

Trying to install Creative Suite 6 on MacBook Air but an error message "Case-Sensitive volume is not supported" come up.
How can I solve this problem and start using Creative Suite?

If not, how can I change my volume to non case-sensitive one?

Not able to activate Acrobat with Creative Suite 5.5 (mac)

Hey folks,
unfortunately I´m not able to use Acrobat Pro, which is part of my Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard.
I think it´s because of the language: My OSX language is english, the Suite´s is german. PS and AI run perfectly, activated in german. Seems that there is no way for an german installation of Acrobat. What happens when I start Acrobat is, that the App-manager pops up and asks for the serial (it says "language english american"). My original serial is invalid.
Is there any chance to switch the language without opening the application? I think this might be one option.

Does Adobe provides phone support? Would be much easier...

I have never heard of slipstreaming the updates with the original install, only with updates themselves. I suspect that may be related in some sense, but just a guess.
