CRM ORG Model Setup
Hi Gurus,
We have setup the Org Model in sync with R/3 in our Dev Client.
CRM => O 050000001 /20/00 (Sales Org/ Distribution Channel/ Division)
Corresponding R/3=> USAO/20/00 (Sales Org/ DChannel/ Division)
How do we transport it to Quality Client of CRM?
Do I have to setup the entire Org Model Again?
If any documentation/ Steps are available then it will be of gr8 help
Thanks
Mukund
Hello Mukund,
You can execute transaction CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE to download the R/3 sales areas into CRM.
Only new sales organizations are downloaded with CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE when is executed a second time, therefore is highly recomended to execute this transaction once. You can see it in the documentation of this transaction: IMG: CRM > master data > orga. management > data transfer >Copy R/3 Sales Structure.
The download from R/3 into CRM is supposed to be one-time download and all the maintanence should be done in both systems separately.
If you have already created organizational data seperated in CRM and ECC, therefore here there are just two options: either make all necessary assignments manually in PPOMA_CRM, or delete the CRM Org Model completely and rerun a new initial load with the above mentioned transaction.
To maintain the sales organization data manually in ppoma_crm, you need to go to the organizational unit's 'Function' tab, enter the corresponding R/3 sales organization there.
As for the distribution channel and division, they should be maintained in the 'Attributes'.
Hope the above information could be helpful.
Best regards,
Maggie

Hi all,
I need some clear explanations about "<b>enhanced backend integration version of the CRM organizational model</b>" because I don't understand the SAP HELP explanations.
COuld anyone help me please?
Thanks in advance
JavierHi Javier,
1. There are 2 version in CRM Org Model.
a) SBIV (Standard Backend Integration Version)
b) EBIV (Enhanced Backend Integration Version)
2. EBIV is used to handle <b>multiple assignments</b> in CRM system.
3. As you know we have 3 Org Units as far as Sales is concerned i.e. Sales Org, Sales Office, Sales Group.
4. In R/3 there is a standard way to maintain multiple assignments among these org units.
Ex: Sales Group 'X' works (assigned) for 2 Sales Offices 'North' and 'South' simultaneously.
5. But in CRM this assignment is not as common as in R/3 and is not supported thru SBIV.
6. If you would like to have these multiple assignments made in R/3 available in CRM as well you may want to go thru EBIV.
7. Once you run EBIV you cannot go back to SBIV.
8. In EBIV divisions and distribution channels can only be assigned to sales units (sales organizations, sales offices, and sales groups). If they are assigned to any other neutral Org Units (Org Units without any Org Attributes), those assignments would be deleted once you shift from SBIV to EBIV.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi.
Whenever I create a lead, the system does not suggest any org units when I press F4 in the Organization Tab.
We are using CRM standalone and have maintained the org model by:
1 - creating the root org
2 - creating the org units
3 - on the function tab, chose the type of organization unit (Sales org, group, or office)
4 - kept the R/3 information blank (since R/3 won't be used as a backend)
5 - saved the model
I have checked a similar post but no resolution was given. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.Thanks Prem.
For the division, the setting in "Cross Settings for Division" is <i>Division not act</i>. By default R/3 dummy division was assigned to division 01.
What other division settings should be maintained? Should it be assigned as an attribute?
Thanks for the advice on the Best Practice documents. I used them as guides. I still encountered this error though.

I have a simple Org model with only one sales org/distribution channel/division but I need to ensure I protect the dependencies on Sales Org ID that exist in various condition techniques that I will tranport from the Dev system.
I believe I have to a) set object lock in target system, b) run report RHMOVE50 to add new or changed org models components to my transport c) transport to target system and d) run report HRALXSYNC or CRM_COM_ORGMAN_BUPA_INTEGRATE to generate the required BP Org UnitsHi Naaven
You have to create a Number Range and Business Partner Group for organizational units.
The ID of the Number Range and BP Group have to be the same for example "Z1".
Then you have to go to IMG >Customer Relationship Management>Master Data>Business Partner> Integration Business Partner-Organization Management> Set Up Integration with Organizational Management.
Enter de Following values:
Group Sem.abbr. Value abbr Description
HRALX HRAC X Activate HR Integration
HRALX OBPON ON Integration O-BP Activated
HRALX ONUMB 2 Business Partner Number Assignment (Org. Unit)
HRALX OSUBG Z1 Business Partner Subgroup (Organizational Unit)
Hope this helps

Re-Synch of ERP HR Org Model with CRM
Hi All
We replicate HR Organisation Model changes from ERP HR to CRM. However, some time ago the HR distributional model was amended so that relationship data (infotype 1001) was not included in any of the group filters (BD64).
As a result we now have Org Units, Positions and Person objects that have transferred to CRM that are isolated and not linked to other objects. I need to re-synch the CRM org model. I know which filter settings I need to add for for new org model changes but how do I fix the existing org model objects that don't have the correct relationships?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

It's the object com.sap.caf.eu.gp.callobj.manager.SAPHRManagerResolveCO

ICWC navigation and CRM mass Org Model assignments
Hi All
I am using CRM 4.0 and have a couple of questions.
Firstly I would like to assign users to the CRM Org Model en mass. Currently I am using PPOMA_CRM to assign users individually but this is proving tedious when I have a lot of users to assign. Is there a more efficient way to do this?
Secondly, my user account is assigned to multiple ICWC profiles thus providing me a selection list. Once I make my selection how do I return to the ICWC profile selection list without having to re-launch the ICWC. I cannot use the 'back' button on the web browser.
TIA
Mark EvansHi Mark,
regarding your second question I think there is no other way to change the profile then logging off and log in again.
Best regards

Hi
I am new to SAP CRM
i want to know is there a difference between ORG Model in SAP R/3 and SAP CRM and what are the steps involved for the replication for the org model between R/3 and CRM
ThanksHi,
normally the setup is the same, but the CRM org model is tightly integrated with the rest of the CRM functionalities. This means for example that for an organizational unit, a business partner is created which can be integrated towards MSA.
Best way to replicate the org model is from HR to CRM. an ALE scenario is available for this. Take a look at OSS note 550055. It details all the steps involved.
If you still want to replicate from R/3, take a look in the CRM customizing under "organizational management".
Kind regards,
Michael. -
Hello Experts,
Our business team would like to verify the information in CRM Org Model to see if all the users, groups, … etc. been assigned to the correct model?
With transaction CRM_PPOMA, we could look for each one. If we pull entire company, it is very difficult to verify on the screen.
Hence, we would like to know if there is a way to pull these information into a flat file or spread sheet to verify the information we have. Or could you please tell which are the tables contain these information.
Regards,
AkashHello Akash,
In SE16 or by a report you can download any table or view into Excel. So as HRP stores the relationships you could filter them by excluding users and positions if you want and download them to Excel. Even better look for the table with the descritpion of the orgunits (which I don't know at the moment but which can be found out) and make a view where you join and filter the tables and do the same. Or if you want to do sophisticated changes wirte a report, make an SQL-statement based on HRP1001 and give out a list which you export.
Best regards,

Hi,
I need to read the BP assigned to a specific position on my CRM Org Model. This position is assigned to the first organizational unit of it. Could you give some functions in order to do this. I though to use HRP1000 and HRP1001 for this purpose but I can't hardcode the Position Number or Description. (This number will change in other environments.)
It's very urgent.
Regards.Hi Javier,
You can use table HRP1000 to get a Org unit based on SHORT. If you want all the org units attached in the heirarchy, you can use Function RH_STRUC_GET with act_weigd = 'SAP_SORG'.
Example code:
SELECT SINGLE objid FROM hrp1000 INTO (i_objid)
WHERE short = i_orgdata.
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
CALL FUNCTION 'RH_GET_ACTIVE_WF_PLVAR'
IMPORTING
act_plvar = lv_plvar
EXCEPTIONS
no_active_plvar = 1.
CALL FUNCTION 'RH_STRUC_GET'
EXPORTING
act_otype = 'O'
act_objid = i_objid
act_wegid = 'SAP_SORG'
ACT_INT_FLAG =
act_plvar = lv_plvar
act_begda = sy-datum
act_endda = sy-datum
act_tdepth = 0
act_tflag = 'X'
act_vflag = 'X'
authority_check = 'X'
TEXT_BUFFER_FILL =
BUFFER_MODE =
IMPORTING
act_plvar = lv_plvar
TABLES
result_tab = result_tab
result_objec = result_objec
result_struc = result_struc
EXCEPTIONS
no_plvar_found = 1
no_entry_found = 2
OTHERS = 3
This should give you the object ID's for all the nodes (organization, position and the holders like business partners assined to positions)
Result tab of the above function will look like this :
OT OBJID
O 50000063
O 50000064
S 50000065
O 50000072
S 50000073
CP 50000427
where O corresponds to org object, S-> position and CP-> central person number of business partner (note: when you assign business partner to the postion, it stores the person number of the partner). So you would need to use the function BP_CENTRALPERSON_GET with IV_person_id = central person number (50000427) to get the user Id or partner number
Hope this helps.

Is Org model (HR) in R3 can be transferred to CRM?
hi,
Is Org model (HR) in R3 can be transferred to CRM?
Regards,
babuHi
Employee Master Data (P) should be distributed to CRM
HR Org. Structure consisting of Org. Unit (O), Job (C) and Position (S) is to be distributed to CRM
The Org. Unit, Job and Position should be replicated with the same object ID in CRM system
A Business Partner in the role (BUP003 - Employee) should be created for each HR Person that is transferred from SAP HR to CRM and this Business Partner should use a custom number range interval setup in CRM
The Personnel Number field of the CRM Business Partner should be updated with the HR Person number
Maintenance Phase
Once the initial Org. Structure and Employee Master data is transferred to CRM, thereafter changes made to the Employee Master Data, Org. elements (Org. Unit, Job and Position) and to the Org. Structure in HR should be distributed to CRM automatically
Reward if helps

Tables which stores org model in CRM
Hi All,
Which tables stores the org model or the sales area in CRM.
KRKHi there,
The tables that stores the organization model main information are HRP1000 and HRP1001.
For working with information that relates the org.model with sales area, I normally use static methods of class CL_CRM_ORGMAN_SERVICES.
Check if this class may help you a little more in your needs.
Kind regards,
Garcia
