CRM System Object error

Hi All,
I have created a system in portal to connect to CRM. I have given all required system parameters. Like
R/3 details, WAS details, created system aliases and did user mapping also.
But when I do Connection Tests for WAS and R/3, both are getting failure.
Am I missing anything else? What could be the reason for this?
Please help me out regarding this.

First do the Usermapping with the Administrator and then check the connection test.

Hierarchy in CRM system?

Hi all
I have created a Base Hierarchy in CRM System by name " BASE_PROD" and assign some category to this hierarchy.
Now the problem lies in:-
1. I am not able to assign certain set types which I want to use as they are used in other Base Hierarchy ( These Base hierarchy are copied from R/3 to CRM)
2. I don't want to use the hierarchy which are copied from R/3 to CRM and want to create them in CRM system itself.
3. When I try to delete these Base Hierarchy in CRM, system issue error Massage " Hierarchy R3PRODSTYP may only be changed in original system ER1CLNT200".
(here ER1CLNT200 is the R/3 system).What is the menu path in R/3 for deleting/changing these Hierarchy.
4.Is there any way to use same set types which are already assign to other hierarchy/Category.

Proceed as follows to remove one or more objects from the hierarchy:
Select the objects to be removed by positioning the cursor on each of the objects and activating Select/deselect node (for entity types) or Sel./desel. sub-tree (for data models).
Select Modeling object ® Delete assignment.
The objects are automatically removed from the hierarchy.
You cannot remove an object from the hierarchy without also removing all its subordinate objects.
Delete assignment only removes objects from the data model hierarchy in question.

Hi, i creating system in the portal (JCX) for connecting system ABAP CRM (CRX), after create system try run test connection and show messages error:
Test Connection with Connector
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Retrieve the default alias of the system
2. Check the connection to the backend application using the connector defined in this system object
Results
Retrieval of default alias successful
Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly
In the logs the portal (NWA) show messages:
Failed in creating the JCO Connection.
The logs operation system (log Security_audit.log)

During the System Object Creating in System Landscape, there is any entry as Message Server Host: CRM MS HOST
and Message Server Port : sapmsSID and add this entry in etc/services --> bottom samsSID 36NN/tcp where NN is instance number.

Error in SLG1 transaction in CRM system

We are getting error in application log in SLG1 T.code in CRM system while the system monitoring.

When double click on error log we are getting message test :

This error message is caused by the SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_NONE_R3_STAT background job. If you don't have SAPCCMSR agent installed to collect the DSR statistics, you can un-schedule (stop) the background job.

Error while creating a system object for R3 in portal

I am getting error while trying to create a system object in portal.
Following are the details I used :
Under WAS...
Web AS Host Name :<XXXX>:8001
Web AS path: /sap/bc/bsp/sap/
Web AS protocol : http
Under User management:
Authentication Ticket Type : SAP Logon Ticket
Logon Method :SAPLOGONTICKET
User Mapping Type : admin,user
Under Connector:
SAP Client : <Client NO>
SAP System ID : <System ID>
SAP System No : <System No>
System Type : SAP_R3
While trying with connection test... I am getting like this:
SAP Web AS Connection
Test Details:
The test consists of the following steps:
1. Checks the validity of system ID in the system object.
2. Checks if the system can be retrieved from the PCD.
3. Check whether a SAP system is defined in the system object
4. Validate the following parameters: WAS protocol; WAS host name
5. Checks if the host name of the server can be resolved.
6. Pings the server to see if it is alive.
7. Pings the WAS ping service; works only if the service is activated on the ABAP WAS.
8. Checks HTTP/S connectivity to the defined back-end application
Results
1. The system ID is valid
2. The system was retrieved.
3. The system object represents an SAP system
4. The following parameters are valid: Web AS Protocol (http) Web AS Host Name (<FQDN server name>:8001)
5. The host name <FQDN Server Name> was resolved successfully.
6. The server sapdwh01 could not be pinged successfully.
Test Connection with Connector

The test consists of the following steps:

Results

It seems that the portal is not able to ping to R3 system. I tried to ping to R3 server from portal server by command prompt. I am able to ping. Also under SICF, I can see ping service as in activated state.

I created a SAP Transactional iView for transaction SE80.
Also, I tried from under System Administration -> Support -> SAP Transaction. It is not working.
Got portal Runtime error :

Error while Importing SYSTEM objects into 9.2.0.6

I got the following error while importing data into 9.2.0.6 DB .
It is related to a SYSTEM object.

Constarint exists on Composite Primary Key on the parent table.

don't mentioning why are You importing SYSTEM objects, the error that You have, just looking the message, is due to an export done without the clause CONSISTENT=Y (so all relations parent/child preserved) having the replication (the table in error is one of the replication dictionary table) active (not quisced)
Repeat the export operation using CONSISTENT=Y an stop replication activity.

Error trying to run SSIS Package via SQL Server Agent: DTExec: Could not set \Package.Variables[User::VarObjectDataSet].Properties[Value] value to System.Object

Situation:
SSIS Package designed in SQL Server 2012 - SQL Server Data Tools
Windows 7 - 64 bit.
The package (32 bit) extracts data from a SQL Server db to an Excel Output file, via an OLE DB connection.
It uses 3 package variables:
*) SQLCommand (String) to specify the SQL Statement to be executed by the package
Property path: \Package.Variables[User::ExcelOutputFile].Properties[Value]
Value: f:\Output Data.xls
*) EXCELOutputFIle (String) to specify path and filename of the Excel output file
Property path: \Package.Variables[User::SQLCommand].Properties[Value]
Value: select * from CartOrder
*) VarObjectDataSet (Object) to hold the data returned by SQL Server)
Property path: \Package.Variables[User::VarObjectDataSet].Properties[Value]
Value: System.Object
It consists out of 2 components:
*) Execute SQL Task: executes the SQL Statement passed on via a package variable. The resultng rows are stored in the package variable VarObjectDataSet
*) Script Task: creates the physical output file and iterates VarObjectDataSet to populate the Excel file.
Outcome and issue:The package runs perfectly fine both in SQL Server Data Tools itself and in DTEXECUI.
However, whenever I run it via SQL Server Agent (with 32 bit runtime option set), it returns the errror message below.
This package contains 3 package variables but the error stating that a package variable can not be set, pops up for the VarObjectDataSet only. This makes me wonder if it is uberhaupt possible to set the value of a package variable
of type Object.
Can anybody help me on this please ?

thank you for your reply.
So, judging by your reply, not all package variables used inside a package need to be set a value for when run in DTEXEC ?
I already tried that but my package ended up in error (something to do with "... invocation ...." and that error is anything but clearly documented. Judging by the error message itself, it looks like it could be just about anything. that is why I asked my
first question about the object type package variable.
Now, I will remove it from the 'set values' list and try another go cracking the unclear error-message " ... invocation ...". Does an error message about " ... invocation ..." ring any bells, now that we are talking about it here ?

Yes exactly
You need to set values only forthem which needs to be controlled from outside the package
Any variable which gets its value through expression set inside package or through a query inside execute sql task/script task can be ignored from DTExec
Ok I've seen the invocation error mostly inside script task. This may be because some error inside script written in script task. If it appeared after you removed the variable then it may because some reference of variable existing within script task.

Error while downloading Contacts from R/3 to CRM system

Hi All,
I am trying to download Contacts from R/3 to CRM system.
Through Initial Download. For this i have set filters through Tcode: R3AC1
as on KNVP and KNVV for the field VKORG.
As we have our requirement to download contacts based on or differentiating
on 'Sales Org".
We have downloaded our Accounts properly without any errors.
But for Contacts we are facing issues such as one or more extra
relationships are getting created between Contacts and Accounts other than
its original Contacts.
Means already existing contacts are creating more relationships after
download.
But a unique feature is visible for all, All those with false
contact-account relationships.
Contact has field value for 'Address type' missing while the same address
type field is properly added for correct relationships. ( please find attached the screenshot of the same)
Any pointers in which direction we should proceed for the solution would be
appreciated.

Sometimes the RFC connection is refused and use to give that particular error messgae due to:
The old RFC library having version 6.20 automatically converted the
password into uppercase with a size limit of 8 characters before sending it to the SAP system.
The RFC library version 6.40 does not perform this conversion any more, because mixed case passwords upto 40 characters are now supported by SAP Basis version 7.00 (eg. NW2004s) and above.
So need to use upper case passwords when connecting to an SAP system having version less than 7.00.
But this is not valid in this scenario.

Error while fetching data from CRM system to BW

I am extracting data (BP ID) from CRM system. I have upgraded the BI 7.0 system from patch 12 to patch 14. After upgrading when i execute the infopackage to fetch the data from the CRM system. The request is coming in yellow and is not fetching the data. Can you suggest what could be the solution.. or where can i find some help..

, I have found the below lines.
"If you do not execute the report before the upgrade, 'DUPLICATE KEY' errors occur during the upgrade of the COMC_ATTRIBUTE table. Up to now, this was observed in the SHADOW_IMPORT_INC phase. In this case, you must delete the UNI secondary index from the COMC_ATTRIBUTE table manually. You can then continue the upgrade by repeating the phase."

Error in editing object: Error in RFC to Solution Manger System

Hi All,
Our System release is ERP 6.0 EhP4 and our DB is Oracle.
When we try to create or edit any object (eg: Function module, package, function group, tables) in our system and save it in a local workbench request, we are getting an error which states: Error in editing object: Error in RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK to Solution Manger System.
Though we have deleted the RFC SM_<SID>CLNT<Client>_BACK, we still get the same error when we try to edit an object and save it in a workbench request. But when we save all these in a local object instead of a package we do not get any error.
Can any one please suggest some solution for this?? As we are held up in some critical activity.

when I am trying to activate the cross system object lock functionality for developement system in tcode /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF from our solman system , it showing the following error
'Error RFC destination SM_SMDCLNT000_TRUSTED: You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1).
Message no. /TMWFLOW/TRACK_N106'
In the above RFC connection the 'Current user' is provided.

I dont have autorization in Client 000 of SMD system thats why its giving authorization error but when I am trying to activate the object locking for SMD client 321 why the system is trying to logging into the SMD : 000 can we somewhere modify the RFC conection which needs to be used.

Error in inbound q in CRM System

Hello,
The data sent from R/3 system to BBP CRM 4.0 has errors for the q R3AD_DNL_COND_A512. ie we are having errors for the conditions table and also for R3AI_CUSTOMER_MAIN q in inbound q of CRM system. R/3 is 4.6c.
Error in R3AD_DNL_COND_A512 : Status of q is sytem fail and error is "No entry in SMOFRSTAT with this REF_ID!"
Error in R3AI_CUSTOMER_MAIN :Status of q is sytem fail and error is "Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)"..

- a prerequisite for downloading conditions is a successful download of the condition customizing. You can check that in transaction CND_MAP_LOG_DISPLAY.
- for analysing the R3AI_CUSTOMER_MAIN error the inbound queue is of no help. Please analyse the error information for the related bdoc in transaction SMW01.

With T.Code SU21 you can see the Authorization objects in the CRM System. If you want to see Authorizaion object for a particular Transaction Code then the T.Code is SU24

So you changed the pwd for installation user of SAP BPC.
After you performed this change did you open Server Manager and go to Reset Credential link?
There you have to input the new pwd for installation user.
After that try to login again using BPC client.
