Cross-Browser (BASIC Functionality) Issue - Need to boot to Windows in parallels to use the websites I need - PLEASE HELP!
Hey Everyone,
Let me lead with my system specs. If you need more info, please let me know and I'll be happy to supply them. I'll be sitting by my computer all night, glaring at my Snow Leopard Install Discs and hoping that you guys don't say that the only thing left to do is a clean install of SL, then re-upgrade to lion.
So, a few months ago, I noticed that certain components on websites wouldn't work. They would be pretty basic - simple buttons at first. Then certain submission forms wouldn't process. Then, recently, there has been a complete loss of video playback on certain websites. And the final straw, the Vuze software update button will not click through.
In order to work around these browser break downs, I've had to launch Linux/Windows 7 or 8 (depending on wether or not I wanted to make myself even MORE frustrated by using metro) to do my web browsing.
Here are a few examples. Again - ALL these websites work in other operating systems.
Groupon - via http://www.groupon.com/subscriptions/new?division_p=philadelphia
The "Continue" button does not function. It will depress on click, and highlights on mouseover, but it will not lead to the next page.

Math Warehouse - via http://www.mathwarehouse.com/quadratic/quadratic-formula-calculator.php
This site houses a calculator for the quadratic formula and other nerd tools - but essentially, just a standard forms with fields. Clicking the "Solve the Quadratic Equation" button does not work. In fact, in this case, mousing over causes the pointer to turn into a text curser.

Clicking this button does nothing. Nothing at all.
I've posted a similar thread when this first happened, where I included activity monitor and consol logs, but no one could make heads or tales of them. one guy even said there was nothing wrong.
i know steve jobs said that macs were the best hardware around for running windows. I don't think that this is what he meant.

I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
=COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
or
=SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))

I bought CS6 creative suite. As of now i need to work each application in separate separate system. Can any one please help me how to solve this problem.
I saw the below quote on Adobe forum
"You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each."
If i install each application in single single system the system count is more than two. In this case, are we have any license issue? Please advice how the problem will solve?

Uvaraj SI already answered that. If you purchased a Suite then you can only install and activate it on two machines. Even if you only insdtall one of the applications of that suite, it counts as one activation of the suite. You cannot take the six or seven different applications that might be in a suite and install and activate them in six or seven different machines... only two machines.
If your scenario will allow for it, one thing you can do is install the programs on all the different machines and only activate two of the machines at any given time. If you need to activate a program on a third machine then you need to deactivate on one of the currently activate machines first so that you have an open activation to use again. I do not remember if there is a limit to the total number of activations you can process for the life of the software. -

Well there is no hard and fast rule that you have to copy nad create a new order type. Its just to meet our own requirements that we copy the standard and make the changes if required to meet our business needs.
And by this way we keep unchanged the standard order type for further use.
If you are sure that the standard order type satisfies your need you can directly use that only.
I hope this clarifies the issue.

If I download a new iTunes will I lose everything we have?Same issue for me. Was running 10.5.3 due to the bug in 10.6 with Apple TV. Upgraded to 10.6.1 since it was supposed to solve the issues. ANd no I can;t open iTunes at all.
Annoyed that 10.6 was shipped with the bug with the Apple TV sortting of titles.
Really p*ssed off that 10.6.1 which was supposed to fix this has totally borken iTunes for me.
Time to try to revert to 10.5.3 again.

My MACBOOK Pro turned out to be Snow Leopard, and later upgraded toLION. And update the EFI, I would like to replace the Snow Leopard, EFIcan not boot, how do? How to use the Snow Leopard install disk to reduce EFI?
Do you mean some of your software does not work in Lion? Do you want to return to using Snow Leopard? If so, then do this:
Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files. -

I downloaded the new os7 on my ipad mini. Now in order to use the Ipad, I need to enter a passcode. I cannot get pass this screen. I did
not set it up to use a passcode. What can I do? I am not too computer savy.I have the same problem. I upgraded to iOS7, entered my usual passcode when prompted in setup, and when I tried to access my iPad after installation was finished it denied my passcode. I can't connect to any internet to erase it or anything because the new iOS hasn't yet been configured to a wifi network, so I can't backup from anything either.
When I connect the iPad to iTunes, it tells me that Find My iPad must be disabled on my iPad before backup or restore can continue - and I can't access anything beyond the lock screen of my iPad at all because it refuses to accept my passcode, so I can't get to Find My iPad. -
when i sync my iphone to my computer to update my music, it syncs as normal to my phone but it re-arranges the most played songs and puts them at the bottom of the app rather in the exact order its appearing as in itunes. this only started happening when i updated to the new iOS platform. can somebody else? i need them to sync so that my most played songs remain at the top and not the opposite!!
PLEASE HELP!You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I receive Adobe updates on a regular basis without any problems. The other day, my Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 (Editor) function has suddenly stopped working. Windows cannot seem to solve the problem. I can open all the other function buttons without any problems just not the most important one which is the Editor Function. Has anyone experienced this situation and knows what to do?
