Crystal report 8.5 export to csv and rtf format not working with office 2013
Hi Experts,
Crystal report version 8.5 hangs and eventually crash when i export my report to csv or rtf format on windows 7 with office 2013 installed, code is written in VB 6 although the same scenario is working with office 2010 installed.
i debugged the code and found the application hangs at function Report.Export(False).
below is the code snippet

CR 8.5, being about 15 years old, does not support Windows 7. I am surprised this works for you with MS Office 2010 and to be honest, I'd consider my self lucky there. The fact that is does not work with office 2013... well, like I said, lucky with Office 2010 and your luck ran out with Office 2013.
Your option; rewrite the app in VS 2010 / 2012 / 2013 and use the CR Assemblies for VS .NET from SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET. The CR Java SDK would be another option.

I had an iphone 4s and it worked nice with facetime and imessage using my phone number but it was stolen on December so I buy a new iphone 4s using the same cellphone number but now imessage and facetime does not work with my number, it only works with my apple ID. 2nd generation ipod touch is pretty much no good anymore? It is not able to upgrade to iOS5.1 and so will not work with many Apps in the iTunes store? Is there a way to find out if the App will work before you download?
Look to the app developer to provide that information when browsing the iTunes Store.
The iPod Touch still works, so what's your problem with it? It still works with older apps, it still does what it's intended to do.
If you aren't happy then sell it and buy a new one. -

How do I stop the download of Maverick on my MacBookPro? I started downloading then discovered that 2008 Word and Excel do not work with Maverick. I have too many files in the 2008 version to upgrade them at this time. I just need instructions in non technical terms to stop the Maverick download.
I did the same as Tapmr and have paused the "upgrade". So am I to understand that the upgrade only downloads and will not automatically install it? I am an extreme novice here, and cannot afford any issues after I upgrade/download. I don't know how to make a clone copy as you suggested either.
I need assurance that if the upgrade is allowed to continue that I will be able to delete the upgrade downloaded and continue on as before with my regular system. -

Canon Pixma MP-540 (and other) does not work with Cups 1.4
Since Cups 1.4 my printer does not work
its 100% about Cups 1.4 beceause after an downgrade to 1.3 it worked perfect. After upgrade to 1.4 again nothing worked.
So my question, could there be maybe a package called cups-legacy. I heard about other Canon printers + non canon printers which not work with Cups 1.4 in case of binary distributed driversI had a similar problem with my MP780 and solved it by adding a custom udev rule. Crystal Report XI R2 - export to .csv not working properly
Hi Folks,
I developed reports in Crystal Report XI R2 version (with service pack 6) and calling them from Power Builder 11.5. When I export the report to .csv format I see only parameter names with values (supplied to call this report) in csv file.
For eg:
Parameters are
Start Date: 01/01/2012
End Date: 02/01/2012
CompanyID: 21234
Regular output:
colum1 colum2 ...... columnn
data1 data2 ....... data-n
data1 data2 ...... data-n
data1 data2 ....... data-n
..... 10 records
csv output looks like this:
Start Date 01/01/2012 End Date 02/02/2012 CompanyID 21234
Start Date 01/01/2012 End Date 02/02/2012 CompanyID 21234
Start Date 01/01/2012 End Date 02/02/2012 CompanyID 21234

Please let me know what changes should I do.

- View the report in the CR viewer from the app, verify the output
- Export the report through code using the ExportOptions, check the output.

Crystal Report Output is Fluctuating between USA and European format Issue
We use Crystal Report 10 .net for our web development in asp.net. We export crystal to PDF Or excel. And it is showing different format for date and decimal points. Its not doing this all the time, but its like every other time I run the webpage then report exports to pdf shows dd/mm/yyyy format, then next time would be mm/dd/yyyy format. Same things with numbers like
10,000.50 would show like 10.000,50.
Is something corrupted or there are any hot fix if this is an issue?
The weird thing is, its not continuously doing this but its fluctuating between this formats.

Other than that, as CR 10 has been out of support for a number of years, I have no way of testing or reproducing the issue. In order for me to do any troubleshooting, You'd need to get to a supported version of CR. Either CR XI r2 (11.5) or CR 2008 (12.x). 12.x recommended as CR XI r2 will be out of patch support next month.

10g exporting to CSV using client_text_io is not working correctly.
I have an odd issue which i could do with some help with. I run an function that exports to CSV based on an pre defined record group.
This has been working fine for many months with various customers. Recently a new customer used it and they have 28k rows in his record group and the export is actually not exporting correctly.
The record group has a record count of 28331.
The CSV produced has only 3756 in my CSV file. These are the last 3756 records in the Record group so its as if its overwriting the data as it goes yet all smaller datasets work

Crystal Report for VS2010 - The Go To Page function does not work
When running a report into Crystal(VS2010), the Go To Page function does not work. Typing in a page number and pressing Enter does not take you to that page. The report remains on the current page. I'm not sure if there is suppose to be a button like the one in Crystal 8.5(VS2008).
As long as you are using the CR assemblies for VS .NET, the viewer (Win) should look like this:
Remember, the ActiveX viewer based on the Report Designer Component (RDC, referencing craxdrt.dll) is not supported in VS 2010.

It's probably really easy to figure this out and uninstall the updates but, well, I'm slightly tech-illiterate! I use my Norton Toolbar a lot for those sites I visit infrequently, and this non-compatibility issue is the same reason I stick with Mozilla over Chrome, but now I can't even use my Norton information with Mozilla. Do you have "Automatically Adjust Brightness" check box ticked in System Preferences > Displays > Display ? If so, you can't manually adjust brightness.
