CS5 Download cant get it to work? Need help

I purchased a new computer and it doesn't have a CD drive. I have tried downloading the CS5 from Adobe website and can't get it to work? Any tips on how to get the download to install?

Cant get port forwarding working, please help :(

I bought an airport extreme yesterday, and since then ive been trying to get port forwarding to work. I've set it up before on other routers, and while its always been a hassle, this is the first time where I might just give up and take the router back. I've been searching the boards for solutions, and ive implemented several of them without success, and a call to apple's tech support got me nowhere. Im sure im just using the wrong number or setting somewhere, but I just cant seem to find it.
One suggestion i read was to set up the routers connection to my modem manually, instead of through dhcp. When I switched from dhcp to manual, i noticed all the prior numbers except dns servers stayed entered, so i wrote down the ones from when it was set for dhcp and typed them in. My manual setup is:
I.P.: 68.197.191.59
subnet: 255.255.224.0
router: 68.197.160.1
dns: 167.206.245.68
167.206.245.69
every other setting i left on the default.
the dhcp range is 10.0.1.2 - 200
One entry recommended a static ip. I originally set one up with the dhcp reservation feature, but then another post said your ip should be outside the dhcp range. Not sure if either method is better, but ive set my system with the following static ip:
i.p: 10.0.1.201
subnet: 255.255.254.0 (i was unsure what to enter here, so i chose the same as the routers)
gateway: 10.0.1.1
in port forwarding i made an entry with 60000 for the 4 public/private tcp/udp and an ip of 10.0.1.201 (i have tried many other port numbers in the odd chance that the one i picked at random might have already been in use)
I left every other setting on the defaults. The nat settings (a setting im not familier with) is current set for enabled with the default host box above it empty.
I should mention, my pc is wired to the router. I am using utorrents port checking site, as well as canyouseeme.org. Neither can ever see my port, one simply says not open, the other says connection refused.
I hope someone out there can help me with this, as the router is great with this one exception, and I'd rather not return it.

For starters, it's probably not a bad idea to "factory reset" your device since it sounds like you've had a lot of people giving you different advice. This isn't to say that you've been given *bad advice* but, it may make things easier for a trouble-shooter if you start over from a "known" state.
That said:
You need to setup manual port mapping. The problem is, when somebody from the outside tries to access your computer, the Aiport (for lack of a better analogy) isn't expecting any visitors; so it turns them away. ---That matches what you are seeing from canyouseeme.org etc...
Your error was when you "made an entry with 60000 for the 4 public/private tcp/udp and an ip of 10.0.1.201" Essentially all that will do is make a mapping for one port. Port "60,000" which to my knowledge, isn't used by anything.
You have to tell the Airport specifically what "outside" ports (each and every one) that you want routed to what "inside" ip address.
I use:
Public TCP: 22,80,443,27900,13405
Public UDP: 123,7777-7783, 13405,6881-6999
Private IP Address: 10.0.1.201
Private TCP: 22,80,443,27900,13405
Private UDP: 123,7777-7783, 13405,6881-6999
This enables: telnet, http, ssh, bittorrent and unreal tournament from the outside and routes ANY AND ALL TRAFFIC from those ports to my PC at 10.0.1.201 on the inside.
If I ran AIM, or ICQ or one of those things, then you need to add the ports that that system uses to the list also.

Can't get WET200 to work -- need help

Here's what I've tried so far:
1. I set my Windows XP laptop's Local Area Connection TCP/IP to use IP address 192.168.1.220 (which is outside my router's dynamic range), subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and default gateway of 192.168.1.226. This allowed me to connect the WET200 to my laptop's ethernet port and get to the WET200's admin page by going to 192.168.1.226.
2. I left the WET200's basic settings alone, except I changed the gateway to 192.168.1.1 (my router's IP address) and clicked Save. Btw, my router is the Actiontec MI424WR that they give you for Verizon FIOS.
3. I clicked on the Site Survey, selected my network, entered my router's WEP passphrase, generated the keys, and saved the settings.
4. I unplugged the Ethernet cable from my laptop, then unplugged the router's power cord, waited 30 seconds, and plugged it back in.
5. I set my Windows XP laptop's Local Area Connection TCP/IP setting back to "Obtain an IP address automatically"
6. I then plugged the Ethernet cable back into my laptop.
At this point, I was expecting my laptop's Local Area Connection to obtain an IP address and be able to connect to the Internet, but it times out and cannot get an IP address, which means I can't connect to the internet.
What did I do wrong, or what else do I need to do to get this working?
Keep in mind I'm a home user, not an IT admin, so please don't assume I have any networking knowledge when you reply.

Cant get iEyeNet running ! Need help, please!

Cant get on any webpages, need help!

I have an emac running OSX 10.2.8 I have never had any troubles with my emac untl recently. I turned it on one day and all my settings were gone, and I couldnt connect to the internet. I have dsl so I called them and we went through everything and the modem is communicating with the computer fine, but safari, and internet explorer will not let me get onto any websites at all. I called apple and they told me to go to my keychain, pull it out onto the desktop, and it should work fine. Well I cant go to anywebsites, except for nfl.com, and that only lets me look at a page that is 2 months old, something i must have looked at before everything went haywire. Please help!

Cant get album artwork! Need help!

So I just bought Senses Fail's new album Life Is Not a Waiting Room and I tried to get the album artwork and it says it could not be found and it's spelt the exact same way as it is on iTunes... Also I just downloaded the new iTunes and I did not have any troubles with any other artwork until I uploaded this cd... So please help me!

For whatever reason, the iTS store database has it listed differently than your tags.
Sometimes just adding a blank space after the Album Name or Artist will make iTunes fetch the artwork.
When Led Zeppelin's Mothership was first released, Apple had it filed under Artist = Lead Zeppelin. It's fixed now, but folks couldn't get the artwork until it was, unless they misspelled their own tags.

Just got an ipod cant get it to work please help

hi i just got an ipod nano it came with the apple ipod + itunes cd, is that the only cd you need? ok so i installed everything on the computer (win xp) plugged the ipod into the usb slot it charged, but all it will say is do not disconnect thats it ive uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything i did the update driver thing, but still all it will say is do not disconnect and it doesnt show up in itunes, and my computer just sees it as a mass storage device, but if i unplug it and turn it on by holding the 2 buttons it works fine but no music so i plug it back in hold the buttons to turn it on it comes on then goes right back to saying do not disconnect, anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like you are doing things basically fine.
The "Do Not Disconnect" screen is normal for your iPod to say to you if you connect it to your computer. When you want to disconnect your iPod from the computer, all you'll need to do is a simple "eject" of the iPod:
Look at the bottom-right corner of your screen, and there's the system tray icons there. If the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon is there, click on it, select your iPod, and click "stop".
As for your iPod not being recognized by iTunes, does it show up in "My Computer" or not? If it does, try formatting your iPod:
Format your iPod via "My Computer":
Go to "My Computer".
Right-click your iPod there.
Click on "Format".
Does the iPod format correctly? Check if it works in iTunes after this.
If your iPod doesn't show up in "My Computer", then try formatting your iPod via "Control Panel":
Open Control Panel.
Click the "switch to classic view" link, if necessary.
Double click "administrative tools".
Double click "computer management".
Under "storage" click on "disk management".
Find your iPod's listing.
Right-click on it and click "format".
Select "FAT32" and start the format.
See if your iPod it recognized by iTunes now.

Cant get voicemail to work. please help.

I had a RAZR from at&t and voicemail was fine.
Got my 3g.
When people call me it states "user has no activated voicemail."
When I try clicking on the "voicemail" icon on the phone area it wont let me click it.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

nearly 24 hrs pulling my hair out before trying to figure out why a
query wasnt working, so i'm pretty sure its not that.
i havent added anything to the query apart from the date/time
column name.

It only needs an internet connection - wired or wireless.

Try these in order:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
     Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
     COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and
     after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears.
     Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Here's an answer from the net:
Go to Settings/Mail,contacts,calendars/Add account choose other, choose Add Mail Account. Fill in name, email address, password and description on the screen that comes up. Save those.
One the next screen tat comes up click om POP in the first line then fil in the host name as
spop.west.cox.net or spop.east.cox.net or the one to go with your region.
Note that is not a misprint, that is spop (secure pop)
Fill in your username one more time (the password should have carried over from previously)
Fill in your outgoing mail server like smtp.west.cox.net (change for your region) and click Save.
When all the settings are verified a checkmark will appear next to them all and you are good to go.
If it says something like "can't connect via SSL would you like to ..." then you probably missed the step about selecting POP on the second screen and are trying IMAP so go back and try over with POP. Or perhaps mistyped soemthing.
Once everything is working you can go back into the settings and see that it has automatically connected on port 995 and that SSL is on
Note that you probably won't be able to send email from a wifi in a cafe or similar as cox won't let you connect to their smtp from outside their network.
I haven't tried receiving mail from a non cox connected wifi yet but I suspect it will work just fine. Anyway these settings work for me using my ipod to my home wifi router connected to cox.
I could not find a definitive guide when I searched so I hope this helps other folks trying to configure this.
