CS5 submit error - enquiry form

Two years ago, I was able to create a contact page with a fill out form with submit button. All in CS3. Now I am using CS5, created a new web site, but now when I create a contact us page with fill out form, it is not working when someone clicks on submit.
In old website / files, I had cgi-bin, then formmail etc, tried the same thing again, with same details. Only for it to show error - internal server error on website.
All I am after is the correct codes now.
Step by step would be helpful- I have had enough

This means that the server is not capable of handling ASP script or that there is an error in the ASP script.

Having the same problem in CS6. I can tell you that converting back to CS4 will NOT solve the problem. It seems when support for backward compatibility is discontinued, there's just no way to get

File Attachment Upload - submit error in Ipad

Hi,
I created a webform for my staff to log visits to physician's offices. The form includes a file attach button which works great from a PC.
I downloaded ICab browser app for ipad, and it actually lets me choose file from ipad photo stream/camera roll. However, when I hit "SUBMIT" button on form, they get an error that reads: "An error has occurred. There was an error communicating with the server. Please try again later."
Any ideas as to why I am getting this error when submitting form with file attachment from Ipad?

Enquiry Form Spam

Two things.
I have an Enquiry Form on my site and every now and then I
receive a reply which is totally blank and although some fields are
mandatory (name, email address), which I have set a behaviour for.
I am puzzled how this gets through the system.
The next is gobbledygook entries.
Every now and then I receive something like the reply below,
is the way around this to ask the user to fill in some random
numbers like we have probably all seen somewhere on a form, and if
so, how are these generated?

Or a much simpler way than captcha is this (requires php

Planning web form error "This form contains unsaved data. Select OK to cont

I've got a user that suddenly gets an error on a planning web form. She opens the form and enters data but when she tries to submit gets the following error “This form contains unsaved data. Select OK to continue without saving data, or Cancel to discard operation” and then it takes her back to the blank form. This form worked for her yesterday but not today. She has tried shutting down hyperion, even rebooting her machine but no luck. Any ideas?

Error Running Forms: Failure of server APACHE bridge

Hi Everyone,
I have this problem on windows 7 64-bit... installation went fine without any errors.
Forms was working fine, i was able to run test form, and a form that i created, and both were running properly..
suddenly, while testing a new form module, it didn't work, and its showing :
Failure of server APACHE bridge:
No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF. I stopped and started the wls_forms and it didn't solve the problem..
i couldn't get to a solution anywhere, is it a problem with weblogic configuration? but how was it working well at the begining... if weblogic services are not starting, then what's the fix for that?
Help would be appreciated...

No, but as said you installed components (the HTTP Server) you wouldn't need for development. Did you start WLS_FORMS?
In any case the latest version of forms would be 11.1.2 where the installation process for a development machine is much easier.
You'd need
- wls1035_generic.jar and a 64bit java runtime
- the 64bit version of forms 11.1.2: http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/111200/ofm_frmrpts_win_11.1.2.0.0_64_disk1_1of1.zip
of course you can install the 32bit version of forms too on your 64bit machine.
then during installation just check "development mode", and you get a development installation like you got with iDS 10.1.2 with one weblogic instance instead of 3 and all the components you won't need (like webcache or the http server) won't be installed.

"Invalid Cursor" Error in Form

Hi,
I wrote a procedure that take a REF CURSOR as an IN OUT argument. This procedure does an "OPEN cursor FOR qry" with a dynamic query:
OPEN l_cursor FOR
       'SELECT A '||
         'FROM B '||
        'WHERE C = :l_var'
     USING myVar;After calling the procedure, I do a LOOP with FETCH.
It works well when I use it in SQL*Plus with DBMS_OUTPUT but it returns a "ORA-01001 invalid cursor" error in Forms.

How can recipients submit completed PDF forms using a MAC?

We have created fillable PDF forms using LiveCycle Designer 8.0. They include
submit buttons that are set to submit the completed forms as PDFs. Rights have been extended for Adobe Reader users. They work great when the recipient is using a PC, but when they are using a MAC we have a number of problems:
1) the Print and Submit buttons do not work
2) when the recipient saves and e-mails the file manually, the data they entered is only visible when you click on that field
Help! How can our MAC recipients submit their completed form as a PDF that displays all of the data!

Thanks Niall. This information proved really helpful in confirming the problem. We ran some tests and the problem does seem to only occur when MAC recipients are using Preview.

Your problem is happening because of the applicaiton of an SAP Note. I think PM has nothing to do with this Error. Pl. read the following (which I read this from one SAP website) & check the relevant SAP notes and take action or write to SAP for solution.

The performance problems usually occur when there are several procurement alternatives or procurement processes (tables CKMLMV001 and CKMLMV002) for certain materials.

Fatal error distributing forms with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
I click
"Adobe Acrobat Pro/Formularer/Distribuer formularer/"
("Adobe Acrobat Pro/Forms/Distribute forms/")
and chose a form for distribution and in the picture "Distribute Form" chose
"Automatically download & organize responsees with Acrobat.com".
I then click "Next" and write an email-address to send it to (i.g. to my own)
and then click "Send".
The program quickly writes
"Authenticating email-addresses"
and then gives the following error message
"Borland Database er ikke installeret. Kan ikke indlæse tjenesteudbyder af Corel-adressekartotetek."
("Borland Database is not installed. Can not read load service provider of Corel address directory.")
When I clik "OK" I get the error message
"Adobe Acrobat has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I have undeleted and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat many times without any effect.
The same procedure has been tried on another computer without any problem.
What is my problem and how do I resolve it ?

Hi all
We are using oracle formsserver6i on win2003 server as application server . Usually each ifweb60 gets 18 – 25 MB memory, but Sometimes one or more of them starting to get more and more memory (I've seen 250MB) and then finally we get an Microsoft visual C++ runtime library error window with following text:

Pres Retry to debug application – JIT must be enabled
Is it a application related error or it’s a bug?

Adobe CS5 Configuration Error 16

Hi,
I am having an issue on my Macs running Adobe CS5 installed via Adobe's default installer with a volume license key. I have local non-adminstrator mobile user accounts that authenticate to open directory. They are non syncing.
On some machines, when a mobile user logs in and tries to run any Adobe app, there is a pop up with CS5 Configuration Error 16. Please reinstall Adobe CS5. I've checked the permissions of the directories listed in http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/configuration-error-cs5.html#main_AdobeP CD
and they are correct. I've determined that the root cause is a cache.db-journal file that belongs to a different user. If I delete this file (as admin), the problem goes away. What causes this file to exist? What causes it to persist between users? Should I add a login script to delete the cache.db-journal file if it exists?

I finally got everything working, despite the ineffectual help of the Adobe support team. Maybe my solution will be helpful.
I loaded a duplicate of my system saved BEFORE installing the Cloud Manager onto another drive. Then I loaded the Cloud Manager onto my current boot drive and sure enough, got the Error 16. Then I loaded the OLD version of the Adobe PCD file from my duplicate drive. No go. Then I loaded the OLD SLStore file. Still Error 16.
BUT then I replaced the SLCache folder and BINGO! problem gone. I noticed in the folder is another called SLConfigs. I am not sure it is a permissions issue or something that happens to this file when the Cloud Manager updates these files, but by reloading the pre-install version of this foldeer I have fixed the problem. I repeated the fix on another machine. I have now downloaded the CC apps with no issues.

Probably, the issue could be because of any one of the following.
 
 
1. Check whether you have added $OARCLE_HOME\forms90\java\frmwebutil.jar in the default.env under $ORACLE_HOME\Forms90\server folder.
 
 
2. Check whether you have added the virtual directory
<virtual-directory virtual-path="/webutil" real-path="$OARCLE_HOME/forms90/webutil" />
in the file orion-web.xml under $ORACLE_HOME\j2ee\DevSuite\application-deployments\forms\forms90web folder
