CS6 Partial Uninstall

Hi,
I just installed and the CS6 Master collection and decided to uninstall few components such as Fireworks, illustrator, flush etc. I kept Dreamweaver, photoshop and premiere.
Now I realized the I have Unnstalled the REVERS of what I wanted.
How can I reinstall them?
when I click go to Uninstall Progrma ->Adobe Creative Suite Master collection I see the following screen which doesn't have the "Dreamweaver, photoshop and premiere" .
so where is the install or "Change" setup?
I found the application manager and there is no options to install . It show everyting is up todate. But I can't find premiere:

What process did you use to uninstall the applications? You can try reinstalling the Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773 to see if this resolves your current difficulties.

IIRC PS CS6 is not Cross platform. It takes a different license key code for each platform. A License key for Windows won't work on a Mac and a key for a Mac won't work on Windows. You'll need to buy another copy/License for Mac OS X.
At one time Adobe did allow you to switch platforms by paying them some money and getting a Mac license key code which I think then Deactivated the Windows license key.
IIRC the CC version does allow you to install on EITHER platform. But only one platform at a time. You can't have one copy on Windows and another on a Mac. Adobe does allow you to install on 2 computers with one license key but it must be on the same platform (Operating System) and both computers and or install of PS CC can't be used at the same time.

How do I Uninstall Adobe PSE9? All I get is an error message, "Error 1316. The specified account already exists". Then the Unistaller rolls back and the program just sits there, partially uninstalled and unusable.

I have upgraded to PSE13 and want to unistall PSE9. When I try to do this all I get is an error message, "Error 1316. The specified account already exists". Then the uninstaller rolls back and I am left with a partially uninstalled version that is unusable. I tried to reinstall the software from the original PSE9 disk but all it tries to do is uninstall the version already on my computer, and this then does the same thing as noted above. How do I completely uninstall PSE9?

Encore cs6 must uninstall CC 2014 to install??

so I understand the procedure to install Encore from CC...fine
Now when I go to do it in CC 2014...I chose PPRO cs6 from the previous versions menu in the creative cloud desktop app.
When I go to install it...Creative Cloud warns me installing PPRO cs6 will uninstall PPRO CC2014....
So are you kidding me?
The process for installing encore is now
1. download PPRO CS6
2. Uninstall PPRO CS6
3. Reinstall PPRO CC 2014
Is this correct? I thought I would ask before I jump through these ridiculous hoops (made even worse in 2014 by not being able to install CS6 alongside CC 2014)

Bridge doesn't even open - partial uninstall?

I purchased CS6 and installed it - I think everything worked fine when installed. A couple of months later, my bridge program just stopped working - on the windows 7 pro desktop and almost immediately on the win 8 laptop. And of course, if Bridge doesn't work, neither does mini-bridge.
Today is the day to fix all the stupid techie issues... Is there a way to fix Bridge without uninstalling the entire package on both computers? I'm not familiar with an overall program management screen that would let me select what to uninstall and/or repair.

No, Bridge requires the main program to be installed and it will just tag along. Run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and simply reinstall PS, then be careful to not apply the latest update again that introduced this issue.

CS6 Beta Uninstall difficulties

Hi all, I have read all the associated forum posts and still have no answer.
My Photoshop CS6 BETA has updated and so I need to uninstall it before proceeding.
It is not listed in my add remove programs and I can not see it with my CCleaner either.
If I go to the directory there is no set up file nor uninstall file anywhere.
Please help.
I am using Windows 7 and Photoshop Beta version 13.0.0.0

If it is not in the uninstall directory you will probalby have to use the Adobe Script Cleaner to remove it.

CS6 beta uninstall issues.

I'm running OS 10.6.8 SL on my mac and have enjoyed using CS6 beta but I'm receiving mulitiple error messages upon trying to uninstall. There are apparently some missing or corrupt files per the error messages. The error messages suggested using the creative suite cleaner tool or contacting support. It appears the cleaner tool suggested is for CS5 only. Any suggestions so I don't have to drag all the files into the trash? I realize that could mess up my system for any future adobe installs but I need to get this beta version off quickly before I purchase. Thanks in advance.

Photoshop CS6 Partial Reset to Defaults

This morning, I opened CS6 and noticed that Open Recent was grayed out. So I opened my most recent from Bridge and found almost all my settings had reverted to default, except for Menu and Keyboard Shortcuts. Workspace still had the correct name.
I have CS6 Prefs saved on the desktop but I chose to rest most by hand to see if anything might foul up. It didn't so I renamed the final settings to a different workspace. In so doing, I lost my keyboard shortcuts so I had to reset those as well. Of course, I realize that I didn't have to do all that, I could have simply substituted the saved .psp, but since this revert was not as a result of my resetting prefs manually, I wanted to see what if anything might be wrong and perhaps interfere with manual settings.
The strangest behavior showed up when I went to reboot the computer then open PS. It took a very long time for PS to open, and during that time a blue square would flash on screen behind the PS Loading Icon, which is something I have not seen before.

Examination of Events showed no problems other than an inability to run backup today because the Backup HD was unavailable. It may have been trying to do so while I opened PS as I note several attempts to do so in Events log.

I have never heard of such, and have certainly never observed it. Closest that I have had was once my Recent Images did go blank. I attributed that to some cleaning that I had done to the system?
I know that one can do partial reset of Prefs in Premiere Pro, but that is sort of a variation on the Shift-Ctrl-Alt (full Preferences), where other modifier key combos, at launch will do things like Clear PrPro Media Cache, etc.. Not quite the same.
Now, that Event Log entry on attempts to access a disk is worrisome, and I wonder if you are having an I/O issue there, and when you launhed PS, it was looking for some reference to that disk.
That would be where I would start looking, as I could see where something like a referenced disk, that was unavailable, might mess things up a bit. I seem to recall some folk, who had issues when working from externals, that were no longer available, and PS not working 100%. I have seen similar with Prmiere, where someone had Imported VOB files from a DVD-Video, then closed out PrPro, removed that DVD-Video, and later launhed and Opened that Project. Usually, PrPro should first ask "Where is file ____ ?" and offer a Finder. If the linked media, the DVD-Video in this case, is not available, then the Clips/files are shown as Offline. PrPro can get a bit wonky, when a Project with broken links is Opened, but usually gets over it. Now, PrPro is different, than PS, in that one cannot fully launch PrPro without a Project. PS opens fully, without an Image chosen. That comes in the next step in the workflow.
Other than an I/O issue, I have not helpful thoughts, except for good luck,

Improper Photoshop CS6 beta uninstall prevents Photoshop CS6 release version install

I installed Photoshop CS6 beta on my Mac, OS 10.6.8. Once I purchased and went to install CS6, the installer informed me to uninstall the beta version of Photoshop, but didn't say how, or that there was a catch. I went and uninstalled Photoshop CS6 beta bny dragging it to the trash. OOPS! - now the release version won't install, and I can't find anyhting on the Adobe website other than private messages from Adobe employees to specific users with the same problem as to how to rectify the issue.
Aside from venting my frustration at a situation I (and others have found ourselves in that could have been prevented by a little better planning and installer design, I'd really appreciate help in rectifying this state of affairs. It looks from other Forum posts like there is a tool or procedure that cvan be used to make the install work. Thanks in advance -

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 silent uninstall

Hello,
I was wondering if there are any silent uninstall string for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6?
In the registry, the standard uninstall string is
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core\PDApp.exe" --appletID="DWA_UI" --appletVersion="2.0" --mode="Uninstall" --mediaSignature="{7176B973-6011-43C1-AEBC-2D73FE7C6982}"
I tried a few common switches such as --silent --mode="silent" --quiet , etc.
Also, I tried running msiexec /X{7176B973-6011-43C1-AEBC-2D73FE7C6982} but receive an installer error mentioning this command is only usable for installed products.
I have no issues when the application is installed with a package from AAMEE, as there is an extra MSI entry in the registry, but can't seem to find a solution for set-up based installation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Install Premium Prod. CS6 without uninstalling CS5.5 ???

Hi,
I want to install the CS 5.5 -> CS6 Premium Prod. Suite Upgrade.
Can I just leave CS 5.5 on my machine (and then have two Suites running) or do I have to uninstall 5.5 first?
I was not able to find an answer to that anywhere yet:-(

The CS6 install is completely separate from the CS5.5. Leaving 5.5 in place is not only okay but it’s actually a good idea in case you have issues with CS6 or you must work on a legacy project.

CS6 Install - Uninstall CS5?

I have upgraded Premiere Pro and Production Premium....well, more than a few times. Usually I do a fresh install, bite the bullet, uninstall the prior version and install the new one. But this time, since it is not at the same time as an OS upgrade, for the first time I am considering keeping Production Premium Suite and Premiere Pro 5 installed while installing CS6.
I know that EVERY version of Production Premium Suite/Premiere Pro has it's install challenges. But other than those....I have not even begun to cull those lists, are there known issues in my keeping my CS5 prior versions of all these programs lying around? I mean do the software upgrades fight each other? Do they start sharing preferences?
Part of me says just uninstall the prior version and go for it. But trying ot capture all of my preference files, etc. is a hassle. In the past, just buying a new hard drive and installing the new version solves that problem. With an SSD and no new OS, that is not going to happen.
I guess I could just back it up and I'll have access to all the files if I need them. Perhaps that is the best solution.
So is the best choice:
1) Uninstall 5.5 then install 6?
2) Or install 6, and at some later date uninstall 5?

I think Prelude took OnLocations place but there isnt any live capture.
I read somewhere in the OnLocation forun I think that Todd said that maybe some of the feature of OnLocation might merge into Prelude but dont know when or what will make it. I guess its just up to what features people are asking for.

Whenever I have installed a newer version of Adobe it has always taken over as the default when I double click.
