Hi,
Nearly all AIO machines do not have monitor out ports. Many have HDMI in ports. My suggestion: buy an USB video card and you can connect to your TV such as the following cheap version:

a bit more with HDMI:

  • How to connect a plasma panel digitally to Qosmio F10-130

    Hi,
I just orderer the F10-130 and I would like to connect my plasma panel with a digital video signal. The monitor has a DVI input, and the F10 has a so-called "D-Video out" interface that I've never seen before. What's the best way to connect the two devices? I know that VGA Sub-D or S-Video should work, but IMHO this is not state of the art. Does an adapter D-Video to DVI exist?

    Hi marsu
D connector port on Qosmio you can connect to SCART port on TV. The cable is provided with Qosmio notebook. Sorry but I think there is no possibility to connect it to DVI port on your TV.
Only thing that you can do is to ask some experts in electronic store if there is some solution for this issue.

  • How to cancel changes in Panels that does not contains a "Cancel button"

    Hi,
I'm new to Mac, and noted that some dialogs does not contains a "Cancel" Button. Is there some "keyboard combination" that can be used to revert any change made? My main concern is about "Preferences Panels" which can suffer a really mess with unfamiliar users walking there.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Thanks you both for the advices. I already have used the Command Shift 3 shortcut to 'backup' my settings, just as safety procedure . The Close button instead doesn't cancel the settings changes. It only closes the window. As an example, try to change the 'Currency' field in 'International' Panel, in 'System Preferences'. You will note that it changes, even closing the window. The lock button is my safeguard, and I turned it on in most panels that I saw, but unfortunately it doesn't exists for every panel. I guess must 'take a shot' of the settings, before testing any changes.
It should be really usefull have a 'Edit / Revert Changes' menu item, for instance.
By the way, does Time Machine backups System Preferences?
    Thanks for your help

  • WIP310-G2: how to connect to an specific VoIP provider using SIP ?

    Dear all,
I just received a WIP310-G2 and I am wondering how -or whether- I can configure it to connect to an specific Internet based VoIP provider using SIP
Cant seem to find how to do it....
    Thanks a lot,
    Alvaro

You connect your WIP310 to your PC using an USB cable. Then lookup the IP-adresse on the phone and enter that into a browser.
In the UI select Admin Logon and you can enter all the configuration details for your VoIP provider. I would recommned that you ask your VoIP provider to help you with a guide.
I used a PAP2T configuration example that worked for my WIP310, which I got from my VoIP provider.

  • How to connect to MSaccess with sqlplus provided in oracle11g

With an old sqlplus (version 3.3.4) I was able to connect successfully to MSAccess database using these parameters:
              SQLPLUS username/password@odbc:myDSNtoMSAccess
When using sqlplus provided in oracle11g (version 11.2.0.1) with the same parameters, I have this error message:
ORA - 03121 : no interface driver connected - function not performed
    Can someone can help me?
    Thank you

Sorry for taking so long to answer you, I'm back to work.
Thank you all of you for your responses. Let me explain the situation:
We develop software that need to store data in diffenrent kind of database. Most common one used by our client are MSAccess, SqlServer and Oracle. One of our client is forced to upgrade their Oracle 8i database to 11g. This client received a lot of small MSAccess database from their clients and after the validation of the MSAccess data, copy their content into Oracle. With Oracle8i and SQLPlus 3.3.4 we develop a SQL script to copy the data. The client need to login to is Oracle database using SQLPlus and run a script file that contain the following SQL procedure:
        COPY FROM username/pw@odbc:myDSNtoMSAccess INSERT tablename USING select * from tablename;
We develop an application that do the same job and much more, but the client is an old fashion guy who only beleive in SQLPlus tools. Given that «the customer is always right», we recreate their Oracle environement with a server on which we installed the Oracle 11g database and a workstation on which we installed the Oracle client. We import successfully the dump file create with Oracle8i, and try some SQL request from the workstation with SQLPlus successfully. Our softwares were adjusted, recompiled and test successfully with Oracle 11g. The only thing that doesn't work is the login to MSAccess with SQLPlus. I think that Justin Cave is right «If memory serves, the ability to use SQL*Plus to connect to ODBC data sources was removed a long, long time ago». After some search and reading, the closest solution would be to use the Oracle gateway but it will be difficult to the client to use it because they will have to rename the MSAccess database and copy it on the specific path create with the ODBC on the Oracle server. This can be done easily, but different MSAccess database has to be validate and copy into Oracle by different user and this can happen in the same moment. So the gateway is not the solution.
To be honest with you, we are not disappointed. The client will not have the choice to drop SQLPlus and use our application!!!
Thank again to all of you and please excuse my english.

  • Need to find out a way to figure out how DB2 connect to Oracle and data mirroring etc.

    Hi, Gurus,
I just take over a project which source is ICOMS as400 db2 database. Seems data mirro CDC is used to replicate from DB2 to oracle.
I am very new to this datamirror CDC , plus I am new to figure out how db2 connect to oracle, is that through db link or what? or is there tnsnames entry?
I would like anybody in this forum can point me to the right direction.
    Thanks in advance.

user9233598, if mirroring/replication from DB2 to Oracle already exists then question is what product is being used?  If the product has already been purchased then I do not think it is very likely that management is going to want to purchase another product so I do not see how extra-cost Golden Gate or other Oracle Gateway features apply if those are not currently in use.  If Golden Gate or the Oracle Transparent Gateway are in use then you already have your answer
Oracle supports ODBC/JODBC and the replication application on the AS400 likely uses these features or a thick Oracle client as the interface to Oracle.

  • Creating a query that provides a default transaction type for those transactions not categorized?

How could I create a query that provides a default transaction type for those transactions not categorized?
    So assuming I have:
    * Transactions table (with transactions)
    * Categories table
    * transactions_categories table - allows to allocate multiple categories (with a percentage)
     - tranactionID
     - categoryID
     - percentageAllocation
    * Usage is such that only non-personal categories have been applied through out data.  So there is a lot of transactions with no categories applied
    Aim:
    * Want to create a query that creates a list of all the allocated amounts, so would include as columns:  transaction.tDate, transaction.tTitle, categories.name, allocatedAmount(calculated from percentage * transaction amount)
    BUT:
    * How could I include in the query, the entries that cover all transaction that haven't been allocated, to a default category "personal", where the allocated Amount would be 100% of the transaction value
    * And also (if it were possible), for transactions that have been categorized but not for the complete transaction value (say only 50% was allocated to a category), how to to cover this off to.

To default the value of the category:
    select IIf(IsNull(Category),"Personal",Category) as Category,IIf(IsNull(Category),"100%",PercentageAllocation
    ) as PercentageAllocation from [yourtable]
What do you want to put the values of these ones:
And also (if it were possible), for transactions that have been categorized but not for the complete transaction
value (say only 50% was allocated to a category), how to to cover this off to.

  • How to display remote front panels of subvis that are already open

I inherited an RT project that uses remote front panels for nearly all the user interfaces. The host application opens a remote front panel the the top level RT vi, and there are several subvis on the RT system that are opened from that top level vi and thus displayed on the host (i.e. their "Show Front Panel When Called" properties are set TRUE).
If the Host loses its connection to the RT system when any subvi front panels are opened, and the host application is restarted, it can re-open the top level vi remote front panel, but all the RT subvis that are already open will not display their front panels. I am looking for a way to open the front panels to these subvis from the host application.
The kicker is, I need to know which subvis are actually running before I attempt to open remote front panels. Is there any way to determine what subvis are actively running (and not just in memory, such as subvis that won't get executed until the top level vi reaches a certain state)? I am thinking that I could create a list of the subvis that I need access to, check to see if any are actively running on the RT system, and then invoke a remote front panel connection with those that are running.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I might be able to do so? Or any other suggestions? [and yes, I know that RFP communication is probably not the best way to go, but we're too entrenched in this software to start over with a new system!]

It might be possible to work around this behavior by placing VI invoke nodes in your top level VI that reference each of your subvis and setting the Wait Until Done invoke method to false.  This should cause the subvi to close when the top level VI closes even in the case of an unexpected restart.
You can access this invode node in the functions pallet by selecting Application Control » Invoke Node and also selecting Application Control » Static VI reference.    Wire the Static VI Reference to the vi reference input node and double click the Static VI Reference and select the appropriate subvi in the dialog window.  Left click on the Method section of the invoke node and select Run VI. Finally right click on the Wait Until Done invoke method and select Create Constant and ensure this constant is set to false.

You can access this information by using the Real-Time System Manager (Tools » Real-Time Module » System Manager).  This can be used to show what VIs and subvis are loaded into memory and which are running.
