Current budget value is missing

Dear Colleagues,
please advise what could be the reason for the following problem.
Transaction CJ31 (display original budget) shows no value for the field 'current budget' for the current fiscal year, but Project Cost Line Items (CJI4) shows, that the value was planned and cancelled several times, but at least it has line item.
Besides total for annual values (FY2013 + FY2014) in CJ31 shows the value as FY has budget amount
e.g.
CJI4 for WBS for FY2014: 300
FY2013 Current Budget 100
FY2014 Current Budget 0
Total for annual values 400

Hi,
One thing, Planned budget will never show in Current Budget column in CJ30/CJ31. Current Budget is different than Planned budget. Current Budget is operative/real budget which can be consumed.
Current budget consists of the original budget, supplements, returns and transfers. Have you performed these tranx?

Yes, I knew it automatically calculated columns.
Value of "Distributed Current Budget" while you stand at EPS node level = total of current budget for projects under this node.
The total of current budget for projects under Engineering & Construction node is not equal to Distributed current Budget in my screen shot.
Here only i need clarification and please find the screenshot for reference.

Funds Management - Current budget Vs Consumable budget

I have posted a budget entry document with budget category 'payment' and posted few commitments and actuals , when I run the Budget Consumption oveview report - budget amounts are shown under the column ' Current Budget' not under consumable budget and nothing is shouwn under consumed budget as well. Where as I have posted an entry document for budget category ' Commitment' earlier, thats being shown under consumable budget and all budget consumptions are recorded. Both the entries are made with one document type which is assigned to 'automatics release'. I am using update profile 102 - PB , inv, posting date. What is that i am missing ?

I suppose that you are using BCS, if not, kindly let me know.
Can you please inform your EA-PS package? In addtion, can you please confirm if the report that you are using is transaction FMRP_RW_BUDCON? If you are using this one the value columns of this report are the following:
Consumable Budget = from availability control
Consumed Budget = from availability control
Available Budget = Consumable Budget - Consumed Budget
Current Budget = from budgeting
Commitments and Actuals
Therefore you can check each field with the table values.
For AVC fields (that check the value from availability control) you should check the value from the report in table FMAVCT.
Current Budget from your budget transaction or reports.
Commitment and Actuals from table FMIT.

Budget - K022 - PROBLEM IN CURRENT BUDGET

Hi guys,
i have an issue while entering the over all budget in KO22.
When i enter over all budget the "current budget column "is having an impact. (it is adjusting the variance amount , but not over writing it)
but my requirment is it shoudl overwright the budget amount which i am entering should be overwritten in "Current Budget' too.
kindly suggest me the settings for the same.....

if we enter year wise it will replace in year wise column.....but my requirment is i need to enter the over all value only .......(i am sure some setting is there , for your information i have two servers, in another server it is perfectly ok for me , i am facing this problem in another server)...
I am sure some budget profile settings will do this functionality .... i also checked up the SPRO settings 'Maintain budget profile' , I Couldn't find.

How to Run a Cost Estimate with Budgeted Values parallel to the Std Cost Estiamte

Hi Experts,
My client want to run a parallel cost estimate with Budgeted values for each type of cost in a similar process like standard cost estimate(currently only Std business run only the std. cost estimate). Below will be provided to run the said cost estimate.
     1. Budgeted Cost for cost elements against each cost center
     2. Re-posting/distribution will be required run to allocate and apportion the cost from service cost centers to Production cost centers
     3. All Planned(future) Material Cost will be provided. (note that the valuation strategy of costing variant of standard cost estimate has below sequence
     4. Budgeted activity quantities will be provided. (Cost and activity qty for Kp06 and Kp26)
Based on the above data business need to run a cost estimate with budgeted values parallel to the standard cost estimate(based on planned values), which will be compared with actual then Budget at each months.
Simply an alternative cost estimate with budgeted values for a given period for all materials.
Kindly advice the possibility of such a cost estimate in the system and if possible pls. mentioned the Process in order and configuration steps for the same.

You can define costing variants which have valuation variant for budgeted values parallel to the standard cost estimate in Customizing for Product Cost Controlling.
You can define target cost versions using above costing variants under the customizing transaction OKV6 as below picture.
When you calculate variances, you can check “all target cost version” flag to calculate variances for all target cost versions in the controlling area as below picture.
You can analysis the difference between actual cost and several budget cost using target cost version as below picture.

Error :The current budget for budget type CBUD is negative

Hi All, I am using the BAPI BAPI_0050_CREATE, which is using giving me the message
The current budget for budget type CBUD is negative (budget address)
I want to know how is this message being occured, so that i can do the same check in one of my program.
I deugged the BAPI and its using the method CL_FMKU_ENTRYDOC_HANDLER->DOC_CHECK_POST, but could not trace the CHECK done for the above error.
Please let me know the validation

Try to change following customizing temporarily to 160:
IMG->FI-AA->Transactions->Determine default transaction types for
     internal transactions->Acquisition from goods receipt
Another alternative could be to TEMPORARILY change the definition of transaction type group 10 so that it allows negative values.
139899   AA629 when posting MR01/MRHR/MIRO invoice receipt
AA629 is raised when the transactions per transaction type group in one year are negative in balance and the definition of the transaction type group only allows positive values (that means TABWG-VZJSAL is '+'). This is the case for transaction
type group 10. After posting transaction I recommend to set transaction   group 10 back to its original definition.

IM27 Budget Values not Carried Fwd

I have run the program IM27 to carry forward the structure and budget values to the new year, however when I check the budget for the new year no figures have been transferred, is there another step that needs to be carried out?

In IM52 when I select original budget I see no values and get the message "only supplements are allowed for carried-fwd measure' when I select supplements I see the figures, why has the original budget not been updated?
So if I have order from the last year and I want to increase the budget in the current year do I increase the budget in IM32 and enter the value against a measure in IM52 as a supplement or budget?

You need change the IKM. This values are hardcode in the IKM.
You can create a new IKM and the values used are a options of the IKM.

Report Internal Order needed - showing Plan and Budget Values?

Hello,
I want to create a report (Report Writer/Painter) which shows for example in one column the planned values and in another column the budget value of an order group.
I know the standard reports S_ALR_87012993 - Orders: Actual/Plan/Variance and the other standard report S_ALR_87013019 - List: Budget/Actual/Commitments.
My question: Is it possible at all to have these both values plan and budget by order/order group in one report? - Or it is not possbile because these values are stored in different tables and different libraries?
If it is possible with Report Writer, I would be very glad - if not, is there any other chance (e.g. individual programmed report)?

both are report painter reports for libraries 6O1 and 6O2 which are based on reporting tables CCSS and RWCOOM.
Try to find all value fields that you need in 6O2 / RWCOOM as this is the "big brother" of 6O1/ CCSS.

On an asset that was transferred within a company code, the current insurable value on the insurance tab in master data is showing DOUBLE the insurance value that is showing in the insurance depreciation area. As advised above by Bernhard, you should not select COPY check box in the below path.
SPRO -> FA-> AA-> Master Data -> Screen Layout -> Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data -> Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data....
Here select the screen layout, which is assigned to the questioned asset's asset class and click on LOGICAL FIELD GROUPS.
Select LFG 08 - Insurance and click on FIELD GROUP RULES.
For the field groups 62, 64, and 78, you should deselect check box COPY and SAVE.

How to get current row value from table when press the submit button

I want to get the current row value of SuccessionPlanId which is one of the column in a advanced table.
I created one button (created using personalization, action fired thru CO)in the table as column, so each row having one button, if i press the first row's button means then i want to fetch the first row's SuccessionPlanId and if it is 3rd means then i want to get the value of third row's value.
How to do it in controller extension?

Yes, I tried with 'delete' button which is seeded one.
For this, our code using row reference is working too fine. it throws exact SuccessionPlanId value of corresponding row.
I created MessageStyledText, but here i need to give text value right, then only it 'll appear in the page.
Instead i created one image and fired explicitly from the controller processRequest method.
But the same problem remains..

I have added a Cutom Managed Bean Class and Returning boolean value to Control Render property which is working. But now i want to add business Logic based on 'parent.ItemName' or 'parentNode' Values in the bean method to return proper Boolean value.

Hi Sascha,
I have tried that. But in my case the functional logic behind the Rendering is based on more complex logic. Hence i am trying to add a method to return a boolean in Render property of the Link.
But the real problem for me is, in the Managed bean method i am not finding a way to get the Current Iteration index. If i can get the Current iteration index, i can get the Corresponding Component ID of Command link (In the forEach Loop Component Id's are getting generated Dynamically based on Iteration Index), i can use that and add additional logic and derive true/false to return.
Any inputs?

If you want to get the selected values you can do it as follows: The Combo Box value you can get from the combo box. If you want to get it on the change event, you must make sure that you check when BeforeAction = False. If you want to get an Option Button value you should check the value in the data source attached to the option button.

Some fields value goes missing while hitting backspace

While hitting backspace on a page the previous page that opens does not hold all the data that was filled in. Some of the field values goes missing. I think it is a browser cache problem. The browser should always rememeber the field values while reloading a page. In some of the cases it does not(specially when backspace is being pressed). Is there any suggestion? Please help me out.

Hey.. I have encountered the same problem too. Actually if I have some text field elements and if we implement some kind of Javascript or Jquery validation on it and then after moving to next page when we press backspace we do not get previous input values in the previous page. Not only that some times if we do not implement any validation still the values lost while coming back to the previous page by pressing backspace or browser back button. Any suggestion please..
