Custom Logout Page based on PL/SQL

I need to write a custom logout page using PL/SQL Procedure.I have created a procedure as :

I granted execute permission on this procedure to public.
I made the changes in WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ table and set login_url as 'UNUSED UNUSED http://host:port/pls/orasso/orasso.my_logout'
But on logout I keep getting the 404 'not found' error.
Please let me know if my declaration of the procedure is correct?

Pls take a look at Chapter 8-'Customizing the Single Sign-On Interface' of 'Oracle9iAS Single Sign-On Administrator's Guide Release 2 (9.0.2)' for installing customized logout page.

PS:
The LOGIN_URL column contains three values separated by a space. The first value specifies the URL for the Login page, the second the URL for the Change Password page, and the third the value for the Single Sign-Off page.
By default, the LOGIN_URL column contains the values UNUSED UNUSED UNUSED, which specify that the Login, Change Password, and Single Sign-Off pages use the standard Single Sign-On pages.

CurrencyString in JSP-page based on a sql-only ViewObject

I have made a JSP-page based on a sql-only ViewObject against the hr employees table, and
the currencyString on the page doesn't work! The <c:out value="${Row.currencyString}"/>
makes a "*" on every row. How come that this only happens to sql-only ViewObjects? The sql
in the view is simply "select * from employees", and I'm using the 10g production build 1605.

You just have to make sure that the view object has a Key Attribute, then the indicator will show appropriately. The key is required so that currency can be tracked.
This is documented in the help topic "About the Oracle ADF Bindings" in the section "About the Iterator Binding"

Custom Error Pages (Not for PL/SQL Errors)

Hi,
How can I make my own error page for when I branch to an invalid page?
I caught this example:

But I beleive it is only for handling exceptions thrown in PL/SQL and this cannot be applied here.
Anyone know?

Custom Error Pages based on URI not working in WS 7

We have added a handful of Error Page Redirects to our SSL configuration based on URI that do not seem to be working
The entry in the default object looks like
Error fn="send-error" code="500" uri="http://oursite.com/error.html"
The entry in the error logs look like:
[Date] warning (1000): for host X.X.X.X trying to get /URL/CREATING/ERROR, send-file reports: HTTP4142: can't find http://oursite.com/error.html (File not found)
[Date] config (1000): for host X.X.X.X trying to get /URL/CREATING/ERROR, send-error reports: HTTP4145: missing parameter (need path)
I've tried using both the admin server and manual entry in the configs to add this, but no luck. Does the instruction need both a URI and PATH?

I believe you need a redirect if you want to change between SSL and non-SSL.
How about something in the line of (example with code 404):

Error fn="redirect" url="http://oursite/error.html"
</If>.. where +$security+ means SSL.
About the Error and URI, it seems uri="/error.html" would work, but it will not switch you from SSL to non-SSL.
I'm curious why you would want to redirect a user to the non-SSL instance in this scenario..

OAM 11g Webgate 10g customized SSO logout page

As stated in the title, I am using OAM 11g and Webgate 10g. I am trying to create a customized SSO logout page but am confused on a few parts. First off, in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e15478/logout.htm#CHDHFGJC , it states the following step for their logout.html:
Logic in logout.html redirect to the OAM Server. For example:
http://myoamserverhost:port/oam/server/logout?end_url=http://my.site.com/
welcome.htmlMy question is if this is truely required? Or is there a way to have OAM invalidate the session and do its internal part of the logout procedures without needing to force the user to redirect to the OAM server's logout URL (eg: it automatically recognizes that the Webgate URL is "...../logout.html" and handles it properly). From talking to colleagues it sounds like this should be possible, and I see some mentions of it in the above documentation, but this appears to be 11g OAM and 11g Webgate behavior. At the same time though, the line "Logout is initiated when an application causes the invocation of the logout.html file configured for any registered OAM 10g Webgate." Leads me to believe that it can work with 10g webgate as well.
Or, is there a way to have multiple valid logout pages on the OAM server? (There is currently a customized logout page that we cannot modify, and does not meet all the requirements we have for look/feel)

How to customize the logout page in release 2?

In release 1 I customized the login page and the change password page using the example provided by John Riggs. Now in release 2 there is a logout page that we also need to customize. LOGIN_URL in the table WWSSO_LS_CONFIGURATION_INFO$ is 'UNUSED UNUSED UNUSED' by default. I assume that the third UNUSED should be changed to point to the procedure that generates the (custom) logout page.
Which input parameters does a logout-page-procedure need to have?
Does anyone have some example PL/SQL code?

Custom master page applying on Publishing site template not in my site template?

Hi,
i have created a custom master page based on Publishing template Using Design manager (means converted html to aspx page) and then set all other control on the master page. now problem is master page applying only on Publishing site template not my site
template. any one know why its happening, and how can resolve this issue?

Problems with customized logout.html

First question...
Should the <FORM action> in the customized logout.html be set to itself (logout.html) or the default logout page https://1.1.1.1/logout.html
Assuming the second option... after I click submit on logout.html it takes me to https://1.1.1.1/logout.html which then displays a message:
To complete the log off process and to prevent access to unauthorized users, you must
close all browser windows and exit the browser application.
Is it possible to change this mesage?

This is an example custom webauth bundle when authentication is in use. After successful login, the customized 'logout.html' page comes up. After unsuccessful login, the customized failed.html comes up. These pages will not be seen unless the user has popups enabled in the browser. This bundle goes on the WLC itself. It contains an Acceptable Use Policy (aup.html) and graphic (yourlogo.jpg) besides the base 'login.html'.

Redirect to 3 diffrent pages based on value in the Auto complete field.

Hi Friends,
I am using an "Auto complete field" in a page for searching(Apex version 4.0). But i need to get values from 3 tables and when clicking on the value redirect to any of the 3 pages based on the value.
For example i am having 3 tables. 1.Customers 2.Sites 3.Employees. When i enter 'c' in the search field i need to get values from 3 tables to be listed in that "auto complete" field. i.e, if i am having customer with name 'cusotmer1', 'customer2' and site with names 'cisc1','cisc2' and employees with name'cid1','cid2' ; when i enter 'c' in the auto complete field all 6 values must be listed in the "auto complete" field and when clicking on 'customer1'/'customer2' need to redirect to page 'customer'. When clicking on 'cisc1'/'cisc2' redirect to "site" when clicking on 'cid1'/'cid2' redirect to employees page. Is there any way to achieve this. Please help.

OK - on my page 1, I have a "Text Field with autocomplete" item called P1_SELECTION. The List of Values definition setting for this is:

When the user clicks submit after selecting a name, one of the branches will be triggered depending on which fixed text is there. The branch sets the ENAME or DNAME value on the edit page and the computation on that page retrieves the appropriate EMPNO or DEPTNO value to put into the primary key page item (the main "Fetch Row..." process will then use that to get the real data for the record).
Note that this assumes that ENAME and DNAME are unique on their tables - otherwise, the computations will not be able to find a single record and an error would be generated.

I cannot begin to express my level of frustration. I have been trying to use the composition widget light box display for some time now. I drag the widget to my document. The default widget has three small trigger boxes and a large area made up of a forward and backward button, a background, a text box and a frame for your image.
My steps have been …
I click on the little trigger box.
I click on the frame that holds the main image.
I go to the fill menu and browse my computer for my image and then click OK.
IT shows up on my screen. Yay
I attempt to continue using the next two trigger boxes provided in the widget.
After that, I add more by clicking on the little plus sign.
This is where all heck breaks loose.
Every single time I attempt to add thumbnails, something messes up. When I go to preview, either not all of my main images show up, or it starts with the wrong one, or some are missing. I have looked and looked for help on this and the only thing I can find is how easy it is to create a great portfolio lightbox display. But as we know, that only works when your thumbnails are the same image as the images in your lightbox. If you want something different, you have to use the composition wizard. I am finding it extremely difficult and confusing to customize.
Is there an exact sequence you need to use to add images to the slideshow? I am my wits end.

Jdev 10.1.3.1 "ADF Security": Application without a custom login page?

We are trying to develop an application using "ADF security", which means we can give permissions to certain roles based on "Binding Container", "Iterator Binding", "Method Action Binding" and "Attribute-level Binding".
After reading the document -- "Oracle® Containers for J2EE Security Guide 10g (10.1.3.1.0) B28957-01" that Frank pointed out. We have a question:
Can we develop an ADF application without creating a custom login page? Right now we've followed the security guide and modified the configuration files. But when we run the application, we get the "user null" error message. The reason is clear because we do not have a login page. On the security guide, it says that it is possible to use the oracle default login module. But it does not say how. Does anyone have any idea?

We are using HTTP basic Authentication. This technique worked for the container-managed security. The browser default login page pops up when the end users try to log into a secured JSP. But here we want to use "ADF security" to set up "Iterator binding" and "Attribute level binding" security. The browser default login page does NOT show up. Instead we get the "user null" error message.
If you have detailed step on how to select HTTP Basic Authentication, it would be very helpful to us. Or if you know any document has the detail.

Add Right Side Column and Web Parts to custom Master page in SharePoint Online

Hello everyone,
I hope this is a simple question, however I was fighting the issue it presents for a while. I am in the process of customizing SharePoint Online Look-and-feel with a new layout.
The site collection was created as a
Team Site before I got involved with the project, and populated with numerous sub-sites and pages. I activated required
publishing features, created html with corresponding styles and graphics, and used the Design Manager to convert the html file to the custom Master page. While SharePoint automatically assigned “ContentPlaceHolderMain” div area, I
also used default Oslo page as example to copy sections of the code for dynamic components (left column and navigation, recent items, the ribbon, etc.) from it and placed them in my new master page, pointed all CSS references to
my custom style sheets, etc. Everything works great, however I need to make one last addition -
my task is to make changes to display web parts such as Calendar and Recent Documents in the right column in the Master page.
My custom layout has a header, footer, main pan and two side columns. Most of the default master templates come with the LEFT column already embedded and populated with several placeholder
to serve dynamic content (PlaceHolderLeftNavBarTop, PlaceHolderQuickLaunchTop, PlaceHolderLeftNavBarDataSource, PlaceHolderLeftActions, so on).
My challenge is that I have the RIGHT side column as well, for which I don’t think the default placeholder exists. I need to add a small Calendar box and Recent Documents parts to it, so they
display across the entire site governed by this master page.
The issue is –
even after activating Publishing features (enabled SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure under Site Collection Level, and SharePoint Server Publishing under the Site
Level), there is no Snippet feature (usually available under the generic Publishing Site); this customization of the Team Site allows using Designer and apply custom templates, themes, so on, just like you would under the Publishing collection, but not the
Snippet utility I could use as the solution to embed the web parts on the master page.
Recreating the entire site under Publishing Collection is not an option due to the directions I was given, I am to use this existing one, and need to see if
there is a workaround to either activate the Snippet feature or use another solution to display the web parts inside of the column in the Master page.
If the only solution is to use Web Part Zone, what are the steps to add it AND populate it with the abovementioned apps?
Can anyone suggest how to create a workaround and add this feature? The environment is role-based so both elements need to be dynamically rendered based on the user’s role and activities.
I am more of a front end designer than developer, so if any custom coding and set up required, please kindly provide some basic steps, if possible?..

Updating your Master Page to also include a right rail should be sraight forward enough with a new div or divs in your master page and then the proper styles to make room for this column as well as position the column.
I have not seen why you cannot find the snippet gallery link when previewing a HTML Master Page in the browser. Have you tried loading the snippet gallery by its url? As an example, for my tenant on SPO, I can load the Snippet Gallery for the olso.master
with the following url:
https://pixelmill.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/ComponentConfigureControls.aspx?ComponentName=TopNavigationNoFlyoutWithStartNode&Url=%2F_catalogs%2Fmasterpage%2Foslo.master
Change the domain to match yours as well as update the "Url" querystring var to point to your master page. See if that loads the snippet gallery.

I want to redirect the user to a different page based on the number of results. I have some multi-account users and single account user in my secure zone. Hi Liam I have since been reviewing my query using the BC API Discovery which has been a good guide for me. But the result is just displaying the core customer's company, though the other company has a default email/email1 as the core customer.

Custom Master Page changes wont apply to few page layouts

Dear All
I'm having issue applying custom branding to SharePoint 2010 sites.. Branding works overall fine but it doesn't apply to few pages.
For example if I click on Enterprise and Metadata Keyword Settings in Document library the changes are not applied. I notice it's a page called metadatacolsettings.aspx in layouts and I see it references application.master.. Similarly I see couple
of other pages out of sync and all of them have application.master as Master Page..
Any ideas why this could be happening.. Please let me know

There are a few things to consider.
Have all page layouts / master pages been checked in and published / approved?
Have you created a new page using the custom page layout?
Are you creating or modifying this content?
Keep in mind, the progression of rendering goes as follows:
masterpages determine the ASP.NET structural layout.
Page Layouts determine the SharePoint structural layout based on the masterpage ASP.NET structural layout.
Your .aspx pages determine what content to display based on the Page Layout SharePoint structural layout.

Custom Master Page for Cases in eDiscovery

We are creating eDicovery site using custom site template. Site gets created using custom master page that we have set. Now, there are two option to create New Case.
#1. Use "Create New Case" button on Right Top Corner on home page
#2. OR Go to cases link on Left hand side menu i.e. ('ViewCases.aspx' page)
Problem 1...
this viewCases.aspx application page from _layouts uses seattle.master by default. how to change this?
Problem 2...
If we hover on "create" link on cases page, we see URL as [URL]/newsbweb.aspx?ID=3300.
if we click on this link custom templates for creating cases are not visible. obviously, if I create case using OOB template it will use seattle.master page.
If we remove ID=3300 from browser URL string and refresh, custom templates are available and I can create cases using custom template with my custom master page.
interestingly, "Create New Case" button mentioned in #2 redirects to same page newsbweb.aspx but with no ID parameter and works fine.
Please help how to set master page for viewCases page and what is this 3300 and how to remove it from create link.
