Customer Account Group Mark for deletion

Hi Experts,
As per the business requirement i need to block some of the customer account groups like(z001,z002 and z003)
is there any config settings available for marking these account groups as blocked or only  deletion is possible.

I am not sure whether the account group can be blocked by any means. I would not recommend deleting from the SPRO account group table data as it will affect the historical data.
However, you can control using these account group using authorization objects. Check with basis personal to exclude these account groups from using in XD01 t.codes.

    Hi SAP User,
    You have to translate the descriptions. However, the translation process is different for customer account groups than for other configuration objects (I never understood why BTW). You can maintain the translations directly in SE16, table T077X, menu 'Table Entry' / 'Change' (F6).

    Do you want to change the change the deletion flag set for a customer??
    If so, go to <b>XD06</b>, give all the datas required and press enter.  Now you can see some white boxes against the fields like "All areas", "selected for company code" etc.,  Wherever tick mark is there, untick and save.

  • A customer marked for deletion can create SO

    Hi guyes, there is an incident in SD module.
    A customer marked for deletion since 2008-4-29. But we can still create SO for it today(2008-12-26), only get a warning message.
    Can I configure somewhere to get an error message to prevent us creating new SOs for this customer?
    Or must we program in User-Exit?

    Try this one.
    Goto OBMSG, select application F2.double click on messages.
    Change message type from I to E for message number 133 and 131.
    Goto SM30. enter V_T100C. click on maintain.
    Enter application F2. Click on new entries.
    Enter message 131 or 133 Enter value E in online and Batch fields and save.

  • Change from Internal to External Number range for customer account group

    Hi,
    We would like to change the number range assignment for a customer account group from internal to external. The external number range assignment check box is greyed out as a few numbers in the range have already been used up.  We want to do the internal to external assignemnt change, create a customer of a specific number, and revert the range back to internal assignment. Is this possible?

    Hi,
    Please do the below steps:-
    (1) Go to XDN1 and click on "Maintain status" button. Note down the current status and change the status to zero. Save.
    (2) Again go to SDN1 and click on "Maintain No. Range" button, and change the no. range to external. Save. (if that number range is maintained for multiple years, then make it external for the first yer and for the subsequent years, it will become automatically.)
    (3) Then create your customer with specific number.
    (4) Then go to XDN1 and click on "Maintain No. Range" button, and change the no. range to internal. Save. (if that number range is maintained for multiple years, then make it internal for the first yer and for the subsequent years, it will become automatically.)
    (5) Again go to XDN1 and click on "Maintain status" button. Maintain the current status as the number noted down in step (1) above. Save. (In case number created in step (4) is greater than the number notes in step (1), maintain the number of step (4) in current status.)

    If you block a GL Account using transaction code FS00, the account is blocked for posting. No financial transactions can be posted to that account. We can unblock the GL Account at any time by clicking on unblock icon. Blocking can be done at Company Code level or at Chart of Accounts level.
    For deleting or archiving the GL Master data it needs to be first marked for deletion and then delete it. This can also be done at Company Code level or at Chart of Accounts level.

    Hi,
    If you have marked the account for deletion you will get this message. But system will allow you to post. If you want posting to be prevented to this account you should block at company code and chart of account level in addition to marking for deletion. You can find the lock key just next to deletion key in FS00 t code.
    You can goto FS00 and uncheck mark for deletion check box.

  • Is it possible to change warning "& is marked for deletion" to a hard error

    As part of our periodic update of our bank directory in transaction BAUP, Bank Keys which are no longer valid are marked for deletion. We are not at the point where we are archiving records yet, so the actual deletion has not occurred in our system.
    When an HR user updates a person's bank information (transaction PA20 or PA30, InfoType 09), if they enter one of these bank keys, they are given a warning that the bank key is marked for deletion. However, this is not a hard stop, only a warning message. As a result, they are able to save the record with an invalid bank key. The details indicate that this is message class F4, message 230. However, it appears from the IMG that it may be message 210. I have tried working with each of them.
    I have attempted to change the message to a hard error in message control, but have not been able to do so.  I receive an error telling me that "Message 230 (or 210) is not allowed". I have tried several application areas, including FV, Electronic Banking Messages.
    Is there any way in configuration to change this to a hard error? If so, please supply details, including application area.
    Also, are there risks of disruption of standard business processes if we do change this to a hard error? I know that this same message is issued for other master data elements which are marked for deletion such as GL accounts or Customer records,

    I have searched forums with terms "marked for deletion" and "warning" but have not found an answer. I have also searched various outside expert forums on this topic. Everything I have seen seems to assume that this message will be a warning only.

    If particular message is not allowed in OBA5, then it is not configurable message. Neverthless if you like to change this message, you need to configure this in OBMSG first

  • Integration around "Marked for Delete" customers (ECC to C4C using PI)

    How does the integration work around "Marked for Deletes" between ECC and C4C customers ?
    1. If the customer is marked for delete in ECC, I would assume this markes the C4C account's obsolete flag.
    1a.    What happens if ECC undeletes the customer in ECC ?  Would this remove the C4C's obsolete flag ?
    1b.  How about the reverse ?
          Can a C4C customer be UNMARKED for obsolete ? (I couldn't find that action).
         If it can, would it carry thru to ECC to unmark for delete ?

    Hi Tim
    If the customer is marked for deletion that flag is integrated C4C.  In the mapping docs at https://service.sap.com/cloud4customer you can see the LifeCycleStatus code on the C4C side and e1kna1m/e1knvvm/loevm on the IDOC.
    If they decide not to delete it should work, we would need to test it. 
    From the cloud, unless the Cloud owns the master data, there should be no marking for deleting, in fact, I don't know that you can.  This will not be included in the integration, the integration would need to be customized to support this.

  • To find out the list of user profiles marked for deletion using powershell or C# for SharePoint 2010

    I have Disabled the MysiteCleanup timer Job and disabled few user profile accounts in AD.  Then in SharePoint user profile service, ran the User profile full synchronise job.
    I am able to find the marked for deletion records from the table (UserProfile_Full) in SQL server and also in the Manage User profile menu of the central admin under "Profile missing from import"
    view.  But  am not getting these records, If I execute the  below powershell command.
    $upa = Get-spserviceapplication -name 'User Profile Service Application'
    Set-SPProfileServiceApplication $upa -GetNonImportedObjects $true
    This command shows only the system account and not the accounts, which are marked for deletion .
    Please suggest how to get this result.

    It is the usual practice that FI consultants should prepare Account group and also maintain General data and Company code date in Vendor/Customer masters. SD and MM consultants are informed by FI to maintain Sales and Purchase organization respectively by SD and MM consultants.

  • Customer master Query report doesnt pick all the customer account groups

    Hello experts
    We have a custom Query report created using customer master tables KNA1,KNVV,KNB1 etc. We have customers maintained under 5 customer account groups. One of the selection fields in the query is account group. But it displays customers only in 4 of the 5 account groups for some reason, even though we have customers maintained in that group(prospective customers).
    Any reason why this could occur? How do i ensure that customers from all account groups are visible?

    In SAP query if you join
    KNA1 - KNB1- KNVV
    General - Sasles data - company data
    May be your 5th Account type is created without company code data.
    The query will display only if the data is linked in all tables.
    In case if you don't have company code data but you want the details of the account group customer
    In the query join screen.
    Right click on the joining line between KNB1 and KNVV  and select Left outer join.
    Now run the report , it will show all the account group data.

    We already have existing customer account groups and number ranges and therefore customer accounts.
    We need now to restructure Customer Account Groups incl. number Ranges and Number Range Allocation.
    Is this possible? Any advice?
    Can a customer keep is old customer number and be assigned to the new customer account group, which has a different number range?
