Data for navigational attributes # Not Assigned

Hello friends,
Our report is based on Multiprovider which is based on 5 cubes.
These five cubes has one particular Characteristics which hasnavigational Attribute .
We are using the navigational attribute directly under free characteristics Tab in Query.
We are also using Characteristic in Query - for characateristic data is shown in report.
In report we are able to see data as # Not Assigned for navigational attributes.
When we checked data at info object level for that characateristic, correct data is shown for that navigation attributes.
We have checked following settings
At characteristic level - Uncheck Attributes only
At cube level all navigational attributes are checked
In Multi provider identification table - This navigational attribute is checked for all five cubes
In Multi provider Navigational Attributes Tab - This naviagtional attributes is checked
Activation of Master data was done once again
we are not getting any other ideas, can any one please suggest us where the problem is?

I solved my problem
1. Activate the navigation attribute(s) on the underlying basiscube, from which the query displays data
2. Choose the navigation attribute(s) for all relevant basiscubes (multicube -> Change -> Button Identification)

Navigational attribute: "not assigned"

Hi all,
I have a strange situation where I have a characteristic (0NOTIFICATN) in a cube (0QM_C10), where the (navigational) attributes of 0NOTICATN show up as "# not assigned" when I try to report on them.
I have checked under master data maintanence for 0NOTIFICATN that for all notification the attributes have the value I expect.
The attribute I am most interesed in is notification type (0NOT_TYPE), and I have found out that if I add the infoobj 0NOT_TYPE to the cube I can report on it. That means that instead of getting the notification type as an navigational attribute on notification I have to add it to the cube...
(The same argument holds for several other infoobjects and several cubes.)
Am I missing something obvious here?

That is, it works in other cubes, that had the same problem, but it does not work with the cube 0QM_C10 that I have modified several times during my debugging...
I get the error, that the infoobject 0NOTIFICATN__0NOT_TYPE does not exist. I have checked that 0NOTIFICATN is in the cube and that it is a navigational attribute....

How to show data for navigational attribute in a report ?

Hello all,
I have a hierarchy info object A which has a navigational attribute(hierarchy) B. I need to filter on B for a particular node.
I have added A in the filter column and selected B as the attribute. How can i restrict B for a particular hierarchy node ?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
Have you defined 'B' as Navigational attribute at InfoProvider Level?
You can Restrict B for a Particular Value once it is defined as Navigational attribute at InfoProvder level.
Go to InfoProvider maintaince>click 'nav attributes'>enable it (check the box).activate the InfoProvider.
Then you can see it under same dimension where 'A' is assigned and its name would be A_B.
Drag and drop in to rows and restrict(include/exclude) with required value.

Master Data and Navigational Attribute?

Please go through this scenerio and answer the questions?
I have master data ZSTAT for this we have mainitaned the attribute called ZATT.
The data for these is not coming from source.So there is routine in UR which manipulates and updates the ZSTAT as I,N and T based on the conditions given in the UR.But Now If I look at the attribute ZATT I could see only I and N data.How this has maintained.This had done by our onsite folks.My doubt is How did we get only two values for attibute when we are having 3 values for Master data?
Points will be definitely assigned for the right answers?

Navigation Attributes not populated

Hi ,
I am stuck in a situation with the Master data Navigational Attributes.
I created a "ZMAT" master data infoobject which has the Navigation attributes like "Product Platform". Everything has worked in quality and development but after transporting it to
production the navigational attribute is not being populated in the listcube.
I loaded the data in the master data infoobject and it gets loaded successfully.
I can even see the data for the attribute in the ZMAT master data "manage master data" after the load but when I try to select the navigational attribute in the listcube it doesn't populate anything for that attribute .
I have trying moving the transports thrice from dev to prod but no respite.
Request someone to look and provide a resolution.
Your help will be highly appreciated and points awarded as well
It is worth mentioning that the master data IO is a copy of Material and customized.

Hello,
Make sure you are checking the same 'ZMAT' Keys in both Transaction (Cube) and Master data. Also check whether there is some compounding charateristics to ZMAT. In that case, consider compounded characteristics as well as a Key while comparing the Transaction and master data.

What is this message: Base Line Date for rule 11 not set ?

Hello all,
I am doing some test.
Cenario:
I need to create a Scheduling Agreement in transaction: VA41
The material I am using to create the VA41, I have just created.
I created in MM01 the views: Basic Datas 1 and 2, Sales View 1,2 and 3 and Account View 1.
Issue:
When I am creating the VA41 and I enter the material, the system shows the messages:
1) Dates from:: Base line date for rule 11 not set
2) Dates from:: Base line date for rule 9 not set
*obs: the messages dos not block the creation of VA41. It is a information message.
Question:
What that means? What will happen if I do not fix that? What should I do in order to not have more these messages?

Multi-Provider Provider-Specific Properties for Navigational Attributes

Experts,
I need to over-ride the naming for a navigational attribute in a multi-provider.
For non-navigational attributes you simply use the Provider-Specific Properties. This selection is not available for navigational attributes.
Is there a different way to apply alternative naming to navigational attributes in a Mult-Provider without affecting the global definition in the base cube.

my prob. started during cost cal. in prod. order first error was version 0 not maintained for fiscal year 2007, THEN i maintained it in the path as told by you T code OKEQ.
but after that error changed to CONTROL DATA FOR ACTIVITY TYPE NOT MAINTAINED ( 1000/4230/1420)
i maintained data in kp26, but the error is still coming
pl. suggest some solution as i am not able to proceed further.

Idoc INVOIC error Baseline date for payment does not exist

Dear All,
I am facing the following error message when processing an idoc to do an MM invoice reception (operation similar to a MIRO).
The payment term is correctly maintained in the purchase order.
Idoc message type INVOIC MM.
Baseline date for payment does not exist
Message no. M8356
Diagnosis
You have tried to post a document without a baseline date for payment.
The system will not allow you to do this.
Check the purchase order. No terms of payment have been entered in the document header or no suggestion has been defined in Customizing for the baseline date for payment for the terms of payment entered.
If you get the error message during automatic settlement of planned delivery costs, maintain the term of payment in the master record (Payment Transactions, Financial Accounting) for the freight vendor or use the Business Add-In MRM_ERS_HDAT_MODIFY to determine the term of payment.

Date for starting the calculation of the baseline date is indeed managed in the TC OME2 (document date, posting date, etc..).
In my project, there is already some companies using payment term N60N, so it should be possible to continue using it.
I solved this issue by putting a payment term in the vendors master data (company & purchasing views) and also in the customers views (company / sales orga) otherwise the structure of the idoc is different.

Master data values(navigational attributes) are not turning up in the cubes

Hi all,
I have a cube, which contains 0cust_sales as master data and i have clicked on the navigational attributes of 0cust_sales like customer grp1, 2,3,4,5 etc
But then i have the 0cus_sales number 6100034 with all the navigational attributes turning up when i look up at the master data in the quality system.
But then for the same customer number i can see the customer number but no navigational attributes are turning up!!
I have activated master data and the master data contents are active!!
Can anyone pls update me on this!!

It is not part of dimension only 0CUST_SALES is part of dimension,
And ocust_sales-customer grp1, 2,3,4,5 are navigational attributes in the info cube. I have just included them as navigational attributes enabled in the info cube.
And when i loaded the data for customer say 6111035 from the ods to the cube. I can see the data for customer 6110035 but cant see the navigational attributes getting populated.
But when i look at the same in the master data for 0cust_sales i can see the values for the navigational attributes too!!

Navigational Attribute not found on Query for an Infoset

I have created Infoset on two DSO's and when i'm trying to query on it i'm not able to find the Navigational Attribute which are selected on both of the DSO's.So in order to get the Navigational Attribute on the query of the Infoset what should i need to do.

There is no other way to achieve this from the Infoset....
As suggested by Tulsi.. u can include them in the DSO level.. but it requires enhancement and reloading etc.. and its costly..
Or is it possible to join the master data infoobject if the design works out.. but this also depends how many number of Attributes from how many number of MD that u are looking into..!!

Integrated Planning - Navigation attribute not shown for Planned figures

Hello,
I have created a Input ready query to get the actual figures from previous years and enabling users to enter the planned figures. I have created Planning functions to copy and revaluate.
Reg   Account    Actual         Planned
US         123000     $3000         $4000
US         124200     $5000         $6000
I have one more report where it shows the Actual & Plan comparision.
In the Actual & Plan comparision report I have an additional Navigational attribute SIC code to be shown for each account.
My Actual & Plan comparision report should ideally be seen like below.
Reg   Account    SIC Actual         Planned
US         123000      3026         $3000         $4000
US         124200      4325         $5000         $6000
But it is showing as below where it has # for Planned figures and it shows blank.

SIC Code is a navigational attribute of account. What changes do I have to do to make the SIC code to be shown for planned figures.

I figured it out. I didnt assign the navigation attribute to the plan cube in the multiprovider. Thanks!!

# values for navigational attributes in report . (Urgent)

I have a navigational attributes for time dependent master data. In the report I am not able to see values for that navigational attribute. I see # values for the navigational attributes. I checked the master data of main info-object. every thing looks fine.

Check the following two things again just to make sure you are doing everything right. These are already mentioned by Bhanu...
1) Go to the master data table (Q table or the M table) and check to see if there are M version records (OBJVERS = M). If yes, you need to activate the master data using the program RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN (Change Run). If there are no M version records then check the second step
2) If you do not enter any key date in the query, it takes the system date as the default key date. So check and see if any master data exists for today's date ?
Also just curious, which version and support pack level are you on ?

Navigational attribute not showing correct values

I have a Notification cube Z_QM_C09, Apart from other infoobjects, it has Notification (0Notificatn) and one of its Nav attr 'Esc Category (0NOTIFICATN_/BIC/Z_ESC_CAT).
The Master data for one of the Notification is as shown below

Hi,
I believe Master data was loaded after the Transactional Data.
You can do a full load for the Master data from the Data soruce from the Navigational Attribute is beng updated.
And then acitvate it, No need to load the Transaction data as in the cube the value of Notificaiton is being refered from Master data.
The above load will not have any side affects and is worth trying for.

Default marketing attribute not assigned by BAPI.

I have a requirement where I am creating Person type BPs in CRM from
XApps. I am using the standard bapis for this purpose.
In CRM, I have created a Marketing attribute set. I have made this
marketing attribute set default for Person type BP.
When I create a new person type BP in SAP GUI, this Marketing Attribute
set is getting assigned to the BP.
However , when I create a person BP using the
BAPIs 'BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA' and 'BAPI TRANSACTION COMMIT', the
BP is created but the marketing attribute set is not getting assigned.
I think the configuration should work in both the cases.Please let me know whether I am missing out something.

i am trying to upload characteristics data for class using BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE module. Now when people who knows this function module ,they must be knowing that we have 3 tables there for Char data,numeric data and currency data. Now when i upload the data from excel sheet in to SAP ,i put space in some of the cell with numeric data type but this function module put 0 in those characteristics instead of space.Now user want to see space there instead of 0. Is there any way around to have space rather than 0.
