Data in cube is not coming in Multiprovider

Hi All,
When i tried executing the multiprovider for customer analysis, am not getting the account manager corresponding to payer.But where as when i checked the cube (ZSD_C03) under it i could see the account manager field filled .
There are two cubes under the customer analysis multiprovider (ZMARSD01)
1)ZFIAR_C03
2) ZSD_C03
Payer information is there only in zsd_c03, and in mutliprovider contents when checked we could the same request number which is present in zsd_C03 but with accountmanger as #.
identification of the providers corresponding to account manager in multiprovider is checked and it was checked correctly.
More over in zsd_c03, the accountmanger is a navigational attribute ((ZCS_SOLD__ZACT_MGR) and an attribute of zcs_sold infoobject.
Even the master data (zcs_Sold) was checked and for the combination of the division & distribution channel there is only single entry with account manager.
So i request you people to suggest me how to proceed in this case.

Hi,
Where you checking the data in MP or Report.
And also as suggested please check the Navigational Attr. in MP and do identification.
See in MP if both cubes don't have common fileds it will display as # if you do a drill down on the previous cube chars.
Let us know more on how you validating data between MP and Cube.

I created multiprovider above these two cubes. But data is not coming from the cube 2. The values from cube 2 are showing as 0.

Check the following:-
1 Check whether you have made the joins properly.
2 Check data at multiprovider level .
3 is data available for reporting in both the cubes

Oracle Data Guard, SAP instances not coming up after switchover

Dear Experts,
We have implemented Dataguard, Uisng Maximum performance with real time apply (redo log apply). Redo logs are apply from primary to standby perfectly. And the SAP Instances are up and running, when we create a user in primary its reflecting in standby server.
When i do the the switchover from primary <--> standby. There is no communication between R3 and database. I have refered the Note 400241, have not got the solution. I changed the password of the OPS$ user uisng brtools utility. Still getting the r3trans return code 0012.
O/s-Windows 2003 server
DB- Oracle 10g
SAP ECC 6.0

We would like to implement the data guard , the system landscapes are also similar to your site. Can u pls give me the documentation which explains step by step configuration. We are not able to activate oracle enterprise manager where the configuration is slightly simple. Is it possible to have the primary and standy database with same db_name?. Pls help to proceed further.

Hi Ajay,
In your case for the Nav Attr data to appear firstly load the master data where your Nav Attr resides and then do the apply hier/attr change for that master data.

Data Not coming From DSO to Cube

Hi All,
I have data in DSO. When i run the DTP , request status is green.
Now when i go to cube and see the data the request has came but data has not transferred .....
The Request Status is green in cube but data is not cuming....
No transferred data.
How can bring data in cube..??

Hi,
When you loaded the DSO......after that are you loading the cube for the first time?If so .....and still data is not coming..then check if the last loaded request somehow got deleted from the DSO....
If after loading the DSO....you have already loaded the cube...and this is the second time you are loading the cube.........then obviously it will pick 0 records...........since delta DTP always picks the fresh new request..........if there is no new request in the source .......then it will pick 0 records.......
Also both the cased are not working.........then check the End routine or Start routine.if any.......

Report with data that is present in cube and not in ODS from a multiprovide

Hi Friends,
I have a multiprovider with one cube and one ODS. I have a requirement to create a exception report. This exception report should have records that are present in cube but not in ODS. If cube has a record which is present in both infoproviders then report should not display that.
I hope I am clear on my question.

But this is going to give me all the data present in that selected cube. I want to the report to display data only if it is present in cube but not in ODS.

Cube Data

My report should display
Material................Amount
20002...................200
It should not display 10001 as it is present in ODS.

Info-Object data not appearing in Multiprovider

Guys,
I got a problem here. I have created a multiprovider based on master data and cube. My master data has certain attributes which are not present in the cube. I want to display data for those fields in the multiprovider.
I can see cube data in the multiprovider view but i don't see any data coming from the master data info-object. 0INFOPROV shows only cube name.
Is there something i am missing or any setting that i need to do ?

Hi All,
Multiprovider always has issues when you are trying to link two objects vary in their structure. Lets say if you are creating a multi-provider on a ODS object & Cube or Cube & Info-object. Lets say CHAR X is available in Cube and not in ODS or master data.
Any selection on char X will not fetch you any record from ODS / master data as it is not available in ODS / master data. You need to add the characteristic to ODS / master data and update the same way as you are updating it in the cube. Otherwise don't make any selections based on this characteristic.

(Request for reporting available) is not coming in Cube

I have Cube & DSO.
I added fields in DSO & Cube.
Cube1 has Aggregrates built on it.i added 5 infoobjects on it, Now when i load data from DSO to Cube(Request for reporting available) is not coming up. i cant do reporting on it. can anyone help.

Have you done the Roll up ?
Since aggregates are there on that cube....until and unless you do the roll up that request will not be available for Reporting...

Query data does not match with Multiprovider

hello,
I am as confused as my subject.
I executed the query from Multiprovider, which getting the data from sales and inventory cube.
Everything works fine until I try to validate some of the data.
I can validate some early records but I cannot see later ones in any of the cubes or multiprovider.
I deleted the data and loaded all over again but didnt work.
I am trying to display the record from Plant, material and calday ... i do see the date and plant # but not material #.
I hope I am making sense to you guys.
Any input would be appreciated.

Material is part of both cubes (inventory and sales) and I did flag it in multiprovider when selecting "display data" > dimensions.
I am not sure if it makes difference ... there is another cube (store planning) attached to same multiprovider ... which not feed data but as you know does not report on material level.
Do you think it could create the problem. Again (store planning) cube is not feeding data to multiprovider at the moment.

Open Hub not extracting all data in CUBE

We created an FI-SL cube and use the OPEN HUB process to extract the current value of accounts. The problem is that not all the data is being extracted.
I have a couple of examples where some of the data in the CUBE is not being extracted by the OPEN HUB process. I have checked the filter and it is setup properly. I have manually validated the data in the CUBE.
It is very strange that the data is in the CUBE correctly, but just being extracted.
Any ideas?

This is the first time I have seen a comment about the field limitation.
+ A previous message from Deepak Simon states:
"I want to extract data from a cube with more than 16 fields."+
We are using BI 7.0...is that restriction still in place for this version?

Data is not coming in pivot table

i made a request using some measures,month (time) and some other columns but data is not coming when i m working on pivot table though its working in case of table and graph.

well data is populating in tables and chart in Oracle BI and i also executed the same query in sql server 2005 and got the desired result.
the reason to show the results into pivot table is -- i want to show the result(measures) with time dimension and some other dimensions so i have to use this pivot table or if u have some other solution please let me know...

Data not coming from DOE to Mobile After defining Rule for device attribute

I have created a DO and rule for it.In case of Bulk Rule for all definition when i triggere extract from Portal then all the data comes to outbound queue but when i define rule for Device attribute then no data comes to my Outboun queue.Here is the scenario what i am doing :
1. I have order header in my backend which has a field named "Work_Center" and this will be criteria field.
2. In CDS table i have all the records for all the work center.
3. Now in RMM under customized , i have added an attribute named "Work_center".
4. Now i defined a rule with Device attribute mapping and activated the rule.
5. Now on Portal i assigned this data object and in the device attribute tab i assigned the value(this value exist in CDS table for few orders) of a Work center to the attribute "Work_Center" .
6. Then i triggrere extract but its Outbound queue is empty, what could be the reason.
Is my approach is correct

You can check one ore thing, after you have performed all the steps till step 5, i.e. just before triggering
extract. Check if the AT table for ur DO has entries based on the criteria specified by you...
1. In the workbench click on the Data Object, and then right click and select "View Metadata".
2. Select Distribution Model tab.
3. Now select your DO's Association table.
4. For the input field DEVICE ID specify your corresponing device id,and also for status field specify it
as "I" and execute
If there are any entries now in the AT table, and on triggering extract if they are not coming to the
outbound Q there is some EXTRACT Q blocked. And is there were no entries in the AT then the rule
specified is not the satifying.

Data mart cube to cube copy records are not matching in target cube

Need help on the below questions for DATA Mart-Cube to cube copy(8M*)
Its BW 3.5 system
We have two financial cube.
Cube A1 - Sourced through R/3 system (delta update) and Cube B1- Sourced through A1 cube.(Full update). These two cubes are connected through update rules with one to one mapping without any routines.Basis did a copy of back-end R/3 system from Production to Quality server.This happened approximately 2 months back.
The Cube A1 which extracts delta load from R/3 is loading fine. but for the second cube, (extraction from previous cube A1) i am not getting full volume of data instead i m getting meagre value but the loading shows successful status in the monitor.
We tried through giving conditions in my infopackage (as it was given in previous year's loading) but then also its fetching the same meagre volume of data.
To ensure that is it happening for the particular cube, we tried out in other cube which are sourced thro myself system and that is also getting meagre data rather than full data..
For Example: For an employee if the data available is 1000, the system is extracting randomly some 200 records.

Problem in report of cats_da data is not coming for one absence type.

Dear experts,
For one absence type the data is not coming in the report cats_da. When I check the other absence type the report is showing the data. I dont know where is the problem. Customer is entering data throught PA30 transaction. Kindly help me where is the problem in customization.
