Data overwriting n not getting displayed in seperate ro

Hi Experts,
I have a very simple doubt here.
I have two popups with me. Say popup1 and popup2. Both are tables.
popup2 opens through popup1. I have some data in popup2 which i have to pass to popup1. I select one row in popup2 and pass the same to popup1 on the click of button "ok". Now if I again select another row from popup2 and press the button "ok". the new value overwrites the old value in pupup1.
I need the new value from popup2 to be displayed in a new row in popup1 n no overwriting should happen.
In short, the data in popup1 coming from popup2 is not getting poplutaed in seperate rows, instead it is overwriting the previous entry.
Please suggest me complete code to iterate the data in different rows or else letme know if i have to make changes in some property of my tables in popup.

you want to get the details or rows selected in the popup2 to popup1 right?
Get the current row from the popup2 and store it in another(say Node1) node while clicking ok.
write another piece of code to get the size of the Node1. Once you got the size then loop that and create element for the popup1 table node.
Simple.

Hi,
    I have a new problem again.
    I am doing a new form in which there are around 8 blocks. All the blocks have their tables in the oracle database.
    Each block has 18 columns with the same column & column names. But the values in those columns are different & the values do not match.
    The problem lies while i execute the form, it populates only the first block data. Other blocks do not display or populate the values.
    I cannot create a master relationship because all the column values are different.
    How do i display or populate the values of all the tables?

if your form has truly disassociated tables, then you could simply use a key-exeqry trigger at forms level to travel to each block in turn and perform an execute-query built-in, eventually returning to the starting block.
ie
go_block('..');
execute_query;
go_block('..');
execute_query;
etc
go_item(......);
In this case you would use the block where clause to constrain each table to the appropriate set.
If however, the database has no relationships between the tables but the data content has some corelation, then you could craft a forms relation manually.

Master data: Text is not getting displayed

Hi Experts,
There is one Infoobject 0EMPLOYEE..It is the master data.I am loading the attributes and texts for the same..I am loading this object thru Direct Update.When I go in the Maintain Masterdata...there I am not able to see the text..I have selected Medium Description..But text is there in the T table..
Please help me out as what can be the problem..

You need to activate that particular master firstly, inorder to make the changes reflect in the maintain master data.
and as you are saying the text text is visible in Report,so it might
be a problem of refreshing as well.

Data is not getting displayed in the report from an Infoset.

Hi All,
I am having a report based on an infoset. This report is displaying the data in the Dev. envmt. When it is transported to the QA, it is not displaying the data in the BEx as well as RSRT, in the QA envmt. The patch levels of both the Dev. and QA are the same. The Queries are same in the Dev and QA also.
While trying to display the data from the infoset (rt.click- display data), i am able to view the data, in the QA.
Could anyone please suggest why the data is not getting displayed in the query designer.

Hi Ashish,
I ran the "ZPS/!ZPS" in RSRT where ZPS is the infoset name. In Dev, it displayed the values. In QA, it displayed the below messages:
ECharacteristic 0TCAKYFNM does not exist. Check authorizations
WThere are calculated elements. These results are bracketed [ ]
and below that, it displayed the values for Number of records. But, it has not displayed the values for the other figures.
Does this has any impact in QA.

Master data is not getting displayed in the Query Designer

Hi,
I have a DSO in which I have an InfoObject called Emp No. in the Data Field.
The Emp.No is being maintained as master with (Emp Name, Address, Telephone No, DOB) as attributes.
I have loaded the data in the Emp. No. master. Then tried loading the transaction data in DSO.
The Emp.No is there in the DSO active data, but in the query designer its not getting displayed.

Yet my Query Designer doesn't have the Emp. No.
I have done a full load for both Master and Transaction.

Table PA0045 is getting updated but data is not getting displayed in Infty

When i save entries for any employee in Infty 0045 , the table pa0045 is getting updated with the record.
But FOR FEW USERS, who created the record, the data is not getting displayed in one tab of the tabstrip bur rest tabs are filled with data. Its the case with few users only .

We have build one rtf template it has 2 sectrions one is main section where data is being displayed with out any issues.
where as for Sub section data is not getting displayed though there is data in xml file
1) Main section

Data carrier & application field are not getting displayed in CV04N

In TCode : CV04N, data carrier & application field are not getting displayed.
While i compare with my IDES system, data carrier & application fields are getting displayed in CV04N.
Let me know is there any configuration that has been missed out.

Hi Bhanu,
Please note that the fields 'Data carrier' & 'Application field' are visible only if no document type is entered.
Suppose you enter a document type and press ENTER then these fields disappear. This is because the field 'Application' was designed when only the storage is archive, vault or SAP-SYSTEM was possible and the number of added originals was limited.
Currently DMS allows storage of originals on Content Server and there is no limit on the number of added originals, the system behavior was changed due to performance reasons. To avoid performance problems if you search for a document with a lot of originals attached this field gets invisible if you enter a document type which uses the KPRO storage.

Adhoc Query data not getting displayed on Portal

Hi,
I have a problem with custom Adhoc query data not getting displayed on the portal.
It was getting displayed initially but after a user made some changes to the query its not getting displayed.
The query is displaying data perfectly on R/3 but on portal ..Its giving the message no data found.
Can anyone help me on this.
Also if anyone can tell me how do i debug an Adhoc query from potal.
Is there any tool to debug an Abap program from portal.

find out the EXACT query u want to launch if it's display
in BW buisness explorer then change the iview property
for that query in portal . right click on iview
BEx Web Application Query String -> assign correct query

i have declared variable to hold amount in that as v_amt type konv-kwert in my program and in form interface in import parameters i gave it the same as v_amt type konv-kwert..............and in text i gave the variable v_amt.............
but it is not getting displayed................

on the application toolbar on the top a icon is there for Field list on/off.
click on it.
below left hand side field names will be displayed.
now from the import parameter drag that parameter and drop it in the text boc where you are to display it.
try this way.....it can work.....sometimes there is problem when u don't drag and drop the fields from the list box in the text nodes.

I have created an attribute in slapd.user_at.conf and it is associated in slapd.user_oc.conf.
The attribute default value is given through SUN ONE Console. But, In our application the default value is not getting displayed.
We need the default value to run our applicatin. Can anyone help me for this issue

Hi anandkumar,
I belive this issue can be resolved by changing the Query proprties for the perticular field.
Kindly check the Field proerties in query designer and ensure that Text is enabled ather than Key.
__Field property check up:__Go to query designer->click onn the field-> Right hand side in properties click on display tab-> select Text in drop down menu of Display as tab.
FURTHER CHECK UP: check the master data avaiulability for the perticular info object, if masterdata is not available, do the text data for txt data availability in report level.

Material type not getting displayed in the cube........

Hi,
In my infocube material type for one of the material is not getting displayed.
When I check in the content of the cube for this material all the fileds are getting displayed except material type.
However it is present in the material master data from which it is put into the update rules to populate in the cube.
Its getting displayed for some other materials , so we cant say that mapping is wrong or problem with update rules.
Can some body let me know what could be the reason.

Hi Jeetu,
can you check in your cube if you have for one material, entries with AND entries without the MATL_TYPE? If this is the case then you were loading transactional data before having the corresponding material master data.
You should adapt your scenario:
- first do not use the standard attribute derivation during your URules: performance is very bad.
- implement a start routine filling an internal table with your material and MATL_TYPE for all entries of material in your datapackage.
- implement an update routine on the MATL_TYPE with a READ on this internal table an raise an ABORT = 4 if the MATL_TYPE is initial or the material in not found.
Now to fix your situation you'll have to reload your cube or alternatively just reload your missing MATL_TYPE MATERIAL from your cube itself and selective delete those which are empty.

I have created a contextual panel inside a transparent container. And created a method in the same view supply_values of type supply function to supply the values to the panel.Inside the method I have coded like:

Also in the context of the view I have created a node and supplied the method 'supply_values' in the supply function.Under the node I have 2 attributes named text and enabled. Text is of string type and enabled is of boolean type. In the properties of the contextual panel I have bound the visible property with the enabled attribute.
Now when I am running this application , links are not getting displayed in the contextual panel. Though when I debug TAB contains the values. Please suggest if I have missed out something or I need to look into the properties of the contextual panel. Any pointers will be really helpful.

I have already bound the enable property of the panel with a context attribute of type wdy_boolean but it is still not working.
