Hi Deepak,
Please execute the commands below and see if there is any error return:
Get-Cache
Get-CacheHost
You could try restarting AppFabricCachingService.

it is deliberate, and, has been so, for 20years...

Error while crawling LOB contents SharePoint 2013
Error while crawling LOB contents SharePoint 2013
I have Configured the BDC Service application using SQL external content. The connection was successful and I am able to see the external content in the List "BDC Demo" . But when I search in the BDC Demo site it gives nothing.
So I checked in the crawl logs and identified that it shows " 1 " under error. to further drill down the issue , I went to click on "1" and see the error message : Error while crawling LOB contents SharePoint 2013 .
I have created an external DB named BCSDemo_DB for which I have granted my search Service account read& write permission.
I have added the same account under administrators for both secure store and BCS service applications.
I have done index reset , done a full crawl but the error still occurs.
Can someone please advise if I am missing something.
RegardsHi Aravinda,
According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you crawled SQL database table in SharePoint 2013.
This error is caused by the fact that the default content access account does not have any rights to access the metadata store in the Business Data Connectivity Service Application.
Or it is caused by the default content access account has no rights on the SQL database.
For fixing it, you need to grant the default content access account permission on metadata store in the Business Data Connectivity Service Application and the SQL database. You can refer to the link below:
http://www.sharepointinspiration.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=5
After that, do a full crawl for the content source.

Unity_UMR error 113 &137 Event viewer
i Have problem in unity 7.0 the voice mail not recievied to the user and the error come in event viewer that as per i attached Unity_UMR event ID 113 & 137 so can any help on this issue
Thanks,Hi Kapil,
This is generally seen if the you have MAPI CDO installed and the Exchange System Manager has not uninstalled Successfully.
A few possible reasons for this problem:
1)Uninstallation on Exchange System Manager or installation of MAPI CDO was done using Microsoft Remote Desktop.
2)There are some leftover dlls of the of the Exchange System Manager in the Unity servers.
Things that you can try to resolve this problem:
++ Use VNC Session to uninstall/install Exchange System Manager and MAPI CDO.
++ Make sure there is no emsabp32.dll and emsmdb32.dll file in the Windows\System32 directory.
++ Windows\system32\mapi32.dll should be at version of 6.5.7654.9 or higher. Or still at version 1.x. Anything in between is no good.
Hope that helps!

Saurabh -
Okay,
So I have tried the various methods of resolving this to no avail. Here's what I have setup:
db-01 - SQL 2012 SP1 dedicated to SharePoint farm
app-01 - SharePoint 2013 fully patched Application tier (Hosts CA)
wfe-01 - SharePoint 2013 fully patched web front end
dc-01 - Dedicated distributed content server
I tried running the commands on app-01 that is generating the event log errors:
get-cachehost
get-cachehost : ErrorCode<ERRPS013>:SubStatus<ES0001>:Error: No valid cluster
settings were provided with Use-CacheCluster.
PS C:\Users\sp-install> use-cachecluster
use-cachecluster : ErrorCode<ERRPS001>:SubStatus<ES0001>:Error in reading
provider and connection string values. Please provide the values manually.
PS C:\Users\sp-install> get-cachehost
get-cachehost : ErrorCode<ERRPS013>:SubStatus<ES0001>:Error: No valid cluster
settings were provided with Use-CacheCluster.
On dc-01 (everything looks good) I run the following and get:
PS C:\Users\sp-install> use-cachecluster
PS C:\Users\sp-install> get-cachehost
HostName : CachePort Service Name Service Status Version Info
DC-01.contoso.dev:22233 AppFabricCachingService UP 3 [3,3][1,3]
on wfe-01, I don't see any errors generated however, I run the following and get:
PS C:\Users\sp-install> use-cachecluster
use-cachecluster : ErrorCode<ERRPS001>:SubStatus<ES0001>:Error in reading
provider and connection string values. Please provide the values manually.
PS C:\Users\sp-install> get-cachehost
get-cachehost : ErrorCode<ERRPS013>:SubStatus<ES0001>:Error: No valid cluster
settings were provided with Use-CacheCluster.
I have really made some progress with SharePoint and really don't want to start from scratch, what do I need to do in order to get this fixed? Also, there is no slowness with the farm now....pretty fast in fact...so something is working right, but
I don't like errors filling up my event log and not understanding what is going on.
Thanks for your help in advance!
-RichI'm seeing the same thing. I've submitted my question on this
here. My situation is this:
1 app server - removed AppFabric after farm fully deployed
2 WFEs - running AppFabric
1 OWA - not running AppFabric
1 DB
For my farm, this error message refers to the App server and appears only in the App server application log. Generally, there doesn't seem to be any adverse performance impact associated with this error message. AppFabric is UP and
ONLINE for both WFEs. To me, it seems as if this error is the result of some memory retained of the earlier instance on the App server and, so, something on the App server is still trying to engage the Appfabric service, but it can't because the
service is disabled on that server as a part of the removal process.
Anyway, I continue to troubleshoot and update my experiences on my posting.
Here are some useful references:

Error Creating a List in SharePoint 2013
I have a strange error I'm not able to solve. I've done several searches on this topic and found nothing even remotely like it.
Here's the situation, some of my SharePoint 2013 users (who have Full Control rights on their SharePoint sites) are getting the following error when they attempt to create a new list on their sites:
error_pagetitle
An error occurred while getting the items.
[AgrumentNull_Generic]
Agruments:
Debugging resource strings are unavailable. Often the key and arguments provide sufficient information to diagnose the problem. See Link Parameter name: s
When I follow the same steps, I get the list templates that I expect to get and can create lists. I tested this by allowing a user who was getting this error to login to SharePoint with their credentials on my computer. They got the error again. So it is
not a problem on the users computer.
Steps to reproduce this error:
1. On the affected site, click on the "All Site Content" link.
2. On the all site content page, click on the "Create" link.
3. Error message displays.
When I clicked on the link in the error message, I received the following error: "The definition of the resource ID could not be found."
I checked the ULS logs and found nothing helpful. Can anyone give me advice on how to resolve this error? Anything would help.
Thank you.Having the same issue. If the end user had Full Control, what permission was missing and what list could he see if he could never create a list?

Below is our suggestions:
1, try to open the URL in the Browser directly, then to see what happen. Maybe you can do the next action plan based on the error message in the Browser.
http://localhost:32843/99f510a2628e4f24a5dbde00a57f0cbb/ReportingWebService.svc
2,Try to get the application pool id based on the Reporting Web Service id "99f510a2628e4f24a5dbde00a57f0cbb"
Locate The Web Service in the sharepoint Web services in IIS, then click the advanced setting, you would see the application pool id;
Then Browse IIS manager "Application Pool", select the pool with the ID , restart it.
3,If the above two didn't helpful. tried to reboot the server or the steps below.
Update the web.config in the service host IIS web site and add the following. Set minFreeMemoryPercentageToActivateService to a lower percentage.
<configuration>
< system.serviceModel>
< serviceHostingEnvironment multipleSiteBindingsEnabled=”true” minFreeMemoryPercentageToActivateService=”1″/>
< /system.serviceModel>

I am sure above tells me exactly what is wrong, but I can't decipher it, so I can forward the info to the correct team to fix (we are a very departmentalized organization). I have already completely deleted both servers in the farm and recreated from scratch
and I get the same error, even tried a 3rd time to remove SP and download the latest patches again.
Can anyone help?
Kevindid you
configure the object cache on the web app?
also do you have user profile services configured, if yes then web App's app pool should have permission on UPA.

Anonymous Logon Error while using SSRS from SharePoint 2013
I have SQL Reporting Services 2014 for SharePoint installed in SQL Server Box (SQL01) and SharePoint 2013 in a separate box (SPDEV01)
in SPDEV01 i have installed Add-in for SSRS.
when i generate a report using report builder i get an error saying Anonymous logon
initially i got an error (rsClaimsToWindowsTokenLoginTypeError) for windows
login and i followed the steps from below links
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh231678.aspx
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/psssql/archive/2014/04/28/sharepoint-adventures-using-claims-with-reporting-services.aspx
i am not able to complete all the steps mentioned in the above links as i have confusion in which box what has to be done and few are not applicable to the environment i guess
Claims to Windows Token Service is also running
after successfully completing few steps from the above links i am able to fix rsClaimsToWindowsTokenLoginTypeError but now
i am getting anonymous logon error
Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
the other thing i need to mention is i am using my account as service account, setup account and also as a farm admin, will that
be an issue?
i have to use my account as these are development boxes.
need your inputs to fix this issueHi ,
Thank you for your question.
I am trying to involve someone more familiar with this topic for a further look at this issue. Sometime delay might be expected from the job transferring. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

AkhileshHi,
Can you call your web service using jQuery not in an app successfully?
As the error message suggests, it might be an error on the server side.
I suggest you do a simple test to check whether you can call the web service using jQuery.
Here are two links would provide more information about troubleshooting this error for your reference:

Feel free to reply with the test result if the issue still exists.

Hi all
Could you shoe me about an error 62 that i saw in Event Viewer when i send email in SAP B1
Thank you!Hi,
SAP Business One mailer uses only the SMTP protocol port 25. Therefore,
your mail server must allow SMTP traffic on the mentioned port and no firewall must be present between
the client and the server to stop traffic on that port.
The Error "Failed to connect to SMTP server" usually appears if a
firewall or Antivirus application blocks port 25 of SMTP Server for
B1. Could you please check if such applications are installed and if
so switch it temporally off and try again to send a email.
One simple thing you can do in order to test the connection between
the client and the server is to configure Outlook Express with the
desired settings.
If you cannot send email with Outlook Express, than that means that
either port 25 is blocked, your server doesn't listens on port 25 or
that your server doesn't know the SMTP protocol.
The solution for this would be to allow SMTP traffic on port 25
between the client and the server and to make sure that your server
"speaks" SMTP on port 25.
If you can send email with Outlook Express, than you have to replicate
the settings to SBOMailer, knowing that note 782611 states that it is not possible to use
authentication in order to send SMTP mails.
There are notes 782611 & 693306 describing how to configure this.
If your server uses SMTP authentication, then note (782611) will give
you explanations on how to fix this.
Hope this will help.

Drill down error in disc. Viewer
Hi there,
I'm getting the following error while trying to drill down in Disco. Viewer.
Error applying Drill.Press your browser's Back button to undo the last action or click Run Query to start again.<<
It works fine in Plus and Desktop.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!
MajaFirst thing you might want to check is metalink as I seem to recall a problem with drill-down in Viewer (ie: not working correctly) but not sure under what circumstances.
That would be the quickest to see if it's a known bug or your setup.
