Date format in 01/0000 rather than 01/2011

could you plase assist if anyone gone through this issue earlier. We are developing the WebI reports based on Bex queries. The mandatory prompt is defined in Bex on Calender Year/ Month with variable "base period". Once the universe is defined based on Bex query and when tried to create the web I report the Lov's are displayed in impropr format "01/0000","02/0000" so on. We have other Bex queries with the prompt on calender year/month which are working fine in Web I reports.
Apart the prompt works fine in Bex Analyser for the query that has problem in WebI.
Please assist if there is any problem with the calender year/month infoobject.

I will give two suggestion, I think it will give solution to your problem,
Just go to Preference->then choose
product locale ->use browser locale and
current time zone->Local to web server and
preferred viewing locale->use browser locale
or try the below,
Choose the result and right click and choose format number option and then choose date/time option and choose your required format.

My photos were in disorganized folders on different hard drives. I was able to import them into Lightroom 4 using COPY, and now my folders are reorganized by year and month on my hard drive, which is how I want them. However, I now have a copy of my photos in my catalog and a copy of each photo in my photo folder on my hard drive. This is taking up too much space. Is there a way to have Lightroom automatically import my pictures and reorganize them into folders by date using the ADD option rather than the copy option when importing from my hard drive? Meaning that they are still where they were, scattered, and not catalogued in LR. PLUS, there is a copy of each file in the place you copied them to when you imported them, and these are the versions of the files that are catalogued in LR. Right?

Yes, one set, the original ones, viewable only in Explorer/Finder, the other/duplicate set viewable in LR (and/or also in Explorer/Finder).

So just delete the original versions, as long as you are sure that you have them all in the copied-to location (where they are catalogued by LR).

As jd_paige says, next time use MOVE instead of COPY. If you use ADD, they will remain where they are. Sometimes it is easier to do it this way, and then move/reorganize them once you have them in the catalogue.

Make a copy of the table and produce your Line chart or Bar chart from the copy. Sort the copy into the order you want to see in your chart.
Alternately you could use a Scatter Chart...

No file is attached the email that is generated so I assume there is something wrong with the submitForm parameters...If I change XML to XFDF, it works fine.

How do I view photos in a folder by date taken rather than by date imported?

Hi, I've got some 500 photos in a folder which were imported on two different dates. I've created a new album on the right hand side under "Organize" and just the photos I want are in there. When I look at the folder on the right, all the pictures are there. But I can't call up just that folder; instead what I get on my screen is all 2500 photos in all my photo albums! Not what I want! What I want to get is all the photos in the order in which they were taken on the actual day as all 500 photos were taken at the same day. And I want to be able to view just the 500 photos in that folder by the time those pictures were taken. But, when I imported the second batch of photos it showed the date the file was created rather than the date the photo was taken so, basically, I've got one batch of photos showing the date they were taken (which I downloaded via a link a few days later), and one showing the date they were copied! I've clicked on various tabs on the Organize and Display tabs but can't get it to work so any advice would be appreciated.

Once you have all 500 in the album you should be able to use the dropdown menu - there are three choices. Try switching to oldest first. Album order lets you drag into any order of your choice and they remain in fixed positions.

Hi - I can't find how to change the date format whenever I open any creative suite document - my system preferences are set to dd/mm/yy and every other application shows this date except for CS4 it shows mm/dd/yy. Can anyone help please. Much appreciated.

Hi, I'm having the same problem with the date format - all Creative Suite 'open' menu items are showing US format mm/dd/yyyy rather than UK format dd/mm/yyyy... although everything else on my system is set for UK format and all other programs open properly. The strange thing is: I'm sure this has only just happened after years of using Creative Suite... I'm sure I would have noticed it before. I'm on CS3 so haven't had any recent updates that might have affected it.

We have table which is range partitioned on a Date field with the following date format
PARTITION "P200905" VALUES LESS THAN (TO_DATE(' 2008-08-03 00:00:00', 'SYYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS', 'NLS_CALENDAR=GREGORIAN')
But whenever the user is inserting the data he is using this to_date format
TO_DATE(?,'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')
Here while inserting the date he is not using the format which we used to create the partition I mean 'SYYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS' this format instead the user is using 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS' is this will cause any error to insert data into the particular partitions ?

Numbers allowed in the first offset - 0-3
Numbers allowed in the second offset - 0-9
"/" in the third offset should not be deleted

I think it depends what version of SDK are you using... If you are using 1.4 or later, then you should check out the JFomatterTextField class...
I had to do this before the 1.4, and I extended the JTextField and implements KeyListener and FocusListener; and also extended the PlainDocument for something similar. The JFormatterTextField should be much easier.

Date format within smartforms printing

Hello,
I have an issue regarding date format.
When I print a delivery note date format is e.g. 08.04.2011, printing an invoice it shows 04-08-2011.
It seems that depending on the customers country the invoice printing converts to date format within country settings
(V_T005-DATFM) while delivery form doesn't.
If I always want to print in date format of sales company what should I do?

I guess, it should work if you define
/: SET COUNTRY &country_key&
in the Initialization section of your smartform.
Note: The country-dependent formatting options are stored in the T005X table.

Can I show metadata date format in DD/MM/YY rather than MM/DD/YY?

Being a UK user I want to see any date shown in the metadata in DD/MM/YY format rather than the MM/DD/YY . Is this possible, even if I have to edit the XML schema by hand?

Would using the effect - 'Clip name' and then editing your clip name to what you wish get you to where you want?
or you only want it associated with your mete data, not your output? If so, would that not be an option with your camera and setting it before your video shoot?

Hover Card is showing US formated date rather than UK formated date

The HoverCard in the search results is showing the last modified date in US culture i.e. MMM/dd/yyyy rather than UK dd/MMM/YYYY. The culture of the search site collection is UK.

When you say culture you mean locale? Might be worth re-checking the time / calendar options as sometimes switching the locale doesn't switch out the remainder of the options in that config page.

Hi,
You have the choice between xml or pdf, in later versions of designer you can choose with a dropdown on the email button Object palette, the "Submit As";
In earlier version you had to edit the XML Source and change the format from xml to pdf (or vice-versa);

when you open your 'Downloads' folder choose 'View' in the Menu bar and choose:
'as List'
'Show View Options'
In 'View options' window you tick:
'Always open in list view'
'Date Modified', or
'Date created'
Now inside the 'Downloads' folder click on 'Date Created' (or 'Date Modified')
column to get items alined from oldest to newest date (or reverse)…

ICal To Do List appearsin iPod alphabetical rather than due date as in iCal

I have iCal 2.0.3 on my G4 iBook running OS 10.4.7. When I synch to my 20 GB iPod v1.2.1 via iTunes 6.0.5, my To Do list appears in alphabetical order (which is obviously pretty useless), rather than "To Dos by Due Date" that they're set up as in iCal. Any advice as to how to get the To Do list to appear in order of due date, and if no due date is set, by priority? Thanks.

In was trying to solve another "to do list" problem when I had stumbled upon this iCal characteristic that may be your problem.
I have the habit of putting together my "to do list" before dragging my "to do's" over to my calendar to scheduling them as an events. I have found all of my unscheduled "to do's" do not appear on my online calendar.
But if I reverse the order in which I input my data — scheduling an event first and then dragging it to my To Do List, not only does it show up on my online calendar, but my "To Do" tells me when it is scheduled to be done.
