Day-Offs are considering as training days in Training and Event Management

Hi One and All,
I configured Time Schedules and assigend to Business Events, when I check the Time schedule in Business Events It is considering the Day_offs as a Training Days, But my requirement is Day-offs should not be Training days.
For example: I created a Time shcedule for 10 days and 3hrs per day. I asigned this to a Business Event. I checked the Time Schedule. No of training days are 10, In this 10 days there are 2 day-off (not working days). In the time schedule It is showing these 2 not working days. I want to consider only working days as training days.
How can I solve this?

Hi,
Create a suitable Time Schedule (e.g. take note of std Time Schedule DOPLWOCH), or add day per day/week per week to avoid the inclusion of days off (use With Pattern or User-defined tabs only).

    Hi Toa,
    1. Run report RHHISTO0 via SA38. Once the business event is flagged as "historical" no further changes can be done.
    3. SM30 - T77S0 - Make the following swtiches active:
    SEMIN AINST
    SEMIN APART
    Then when events are followed up, these training data is recorded to employee 2002 infotype. You can report on it via PT90 (for department-based selection use "Further selections")

  • Regarding Event Appraisal Functionality in Training and event management

    Hi TEM gurus,
    Client requirement is that an employee can give feedback for faculty daily. Suppose there is an event for 30 days and there are 5 instructors for this event. Now employee has to give feedback for all the instructor and day wise. 
    Is it possible for an employee to give feedback daily and for different instructors in training and event management ?  How we can track the feedback given by the employee for different instructors day wise ?
    I have given value as "A" in switch HAPP00 REPLA in T77S0 table. We have created different templates through OOAM.
    While doing appraisal also i have to select employee individually and give event name again. Is there any way by which system can select all employees an event ID ?

    Regarding your query on appraisal for every day of the business event, I am not sure if that's possible as it's the business event appraisal we are talking of here..and not the day. But I think individiual instructor appraisal should not be a problem.

  • Extraction and loading of Training and Event Management data (0HR_PE_1)

    hello,
    I've got the following doubt:
    before BI 7.0 release, extractor 0HR_PE_1 extracts event data (eventid, attendee id, calday,...) but if you load straight to cube 0PE_C01, as Calendar year/month needs a reference date (for example, event start date), you'll get total duration of event in hours or days refered to event star date.
    So in a query filtered by month, you get total duration of an event that starts in the filtered month but it couldn`t end until few months later o year later, so you don´t get appropiate information.
    Example:
    Event          calday        Hours
    10004377  20081120   500        but from event_attr event end date is 20090410.
    In a query filtered by 200811 you get total duration time (500 hours when in 200811 event hours have been 20) or if you filter by any month of 2009 you don´t get information of duration of that event.
    I had to create a copy of standar cube (without calday, only Calendar year/month, Calendar year in time dimension) and disaggrate data creating as many entries for an event as months lasts and adjust calculation of ratios duration of event (duration of event in each month/ total duration of event).
    The question is: Is there any improvement or change on business content in BI 7.0 to treat Training and Event Management data? Has anybody had to deal with that?

    Hi,
    TEM data is stored in HRP tables.
    You can load the catalog by creating LSMWs for objects Business event group (L), Business event types (D), Locations (F), Organizers (U) as per requirement.
    LSMW for tcode PP01 can be used to create these objects.
    To create Business Events (E) you can create LSMW for PV10/PV11.
    To book attendee create LSMW for tcode PV08 as here you can specify the actual business event ID which reduces ambiguity.
    tcode PV12 to firmly book events
    tcode PV15 to follow up

    Is your question related to allowing the registration for two programs on the same day at different locations? If yes, it will be giving a warning message that your training registration is overlapping with already regestered program. That to only when the time of the programs is same. You need to implement custom checks if you would like to resist from registring for such programs.
    Conceptually, it is always possible for a person to attend two programs in the same day at two locations (here location definition is company dependent and how do you define different locations of your company). So it wont resist from registring or infact if possible from participating as long as the schedule is not collaiding...

    Hi Prosper,
    You need to configure lot of settings, prior to Business Event, because one BE is based on various elements like Location, Attendee type, Instructor, Fees, Resources, Time Schedule, Services, BE type, BE Group.
    After configuring all these for BE type, you need to create a BE for the BE type. Then, you can go for day to day activities like Booking, Pre Booking, Cancellation.

  • Business Event Brochure in Training and Event Management?

    Hi Guru's
    My client has a requirement as follows. The training administrator decides the Business Event Types which for which superiors can book their subordinates or not. Those events are stored at a particular place. Once the administrator stores them, a mail should be triggered to all the superiors. Thus superior can have a list of event types for which he can book his subordinates. When he books for such events, a mail should be triggered to his subordinates regarding the training event. If an employee books for an event, a mail should be triggered to his superior for approval.
    How is this possible? According to me, those events will be "Included in Brochure" (in Business Event Type Infotype). Am I right?

    Hi Dean,
    using internal orders you have to consider that sending and receiving cost center have to in the same company code.
    If you do not want to distribute the costs to FI/CO but only report them, you can use the cost items provided by TEM. We have set up something similar for our plants in South Europe.
    We have created some cost items and fill them manually with the training costs. Additionally we have created a report that evaluated this costs and combines them with the employee costs (derived from salary).

    My client wants that users can see only courses of training and event management business catalog in ESS, they can't book or do any activities related to TEM. How we can put restriction for that requirement. We are using ITS services PV7I and PV8I.

    I would like to know are there any email supported in Training and Event Management Module.
    For example, after HR administrator help book courses for staff, system will trigger an email notification to staff mailbox with certain course detail information

    Hi Bill,
    In your case the event for triggering the email notifications will be when the booking is done. So before booking, for the object like Business event type and/or business event group some relationship exits. Once you do a booking of course, additional relationship will be created in different objects. Not exactly sure about the relationship code, but you can easily find out from hrp1001.
    So yoor program will check for this partcular relationship, and if it exists then will send mail notifications.

    Can anyone guide me as how to create Training Events in bulk through SAP? I am getting stuck in all ways.. I am not sure where exactly FIRMLY BOOKED flag is stored coz of which we are not able to develop any programs.. Please guide me if ther is any way available to create Courses in bulk..

    Firmly Booked flag is stored in Infotype 1026. If you want to create courses (E) in bulk, use planning Menu (PSVP in Training and Event Management and LSO_PSVP in LSO)

  • Training and event management issues

    Hi guys,
    i am stucked with some of issue in training and event management...
    1. Altough client is using TEM but for frontend they are using ESS.. Now problem is search functionality is not working in system. I am getting 0 result.
    2. I can see the catalog properly but when i do the booking for the future course then system shows course is successfully booked but in Training Activities list that course is not appearing and nothing updated in backend and if i do booking for future course in the backend then after that i can see that course in the frontend also.  same is happening for cancellation. other functionality like prebook, qualification working properly in the system
    3. Client is using Appraisal functionality. i have configured appraisal in the backend but how we can do for frontend.
    kindly help me regarding these issue as early as possiblee....

    Can you please check the assignment of PERNR with User IT0105...
    Also, are you using the customized BSP page ... If yes :
    Please create a new BSP page copying from the standard BSP page and then enter the new page in the view LSPAGE_ALIAS_C.
    Regarding appraisals in frontend, you will see a link of "perform course appraisal" under completed courses if you have configured this in a correct way.

  • Training and Event Management Implementation based on competencies

    Dear Friends,
    My client is going ahead for Training and Event Managment Implementation. They have a basic requirement to start with and that is :
    1) They have done competency mapping for all its employees and they want that the competencies of each employees(along with the skill levels) to be recorded in the system and that has to be the starting point of using Training and Event Management module.
    2) They want, if the competencies can flow based on Job/ Position.
    3) Some identifier to the competencies, whther it has flowed from Appraisal or any other sources in the Final Training Needs.
    Kindly provide me help, as to how I will be able to achieve that and in what Infotypes the data pertaining to Training and Event Managment will be stored.
    If u all can kindly share with me the User Manuals and Configuration Docs of Training and Event Management, it will be of great help.

    Competencies can be stored as qualifications in PD and then by activation of PD PA intergration can be seen from pa30 infotype 24.
    Qualifications can be stored against a Job/Position and are called as the Requirements. They are seen as a separate Tab and to which ever position the person is linked to the corresponding qualifications of the position will appear in the requirements tab.
    You can maintain the proficiency and a note along with the qualification when assigned to a person.
    Also Appraisals can have qualifications in the template rather than criteria and criteria groups.
    Also after training is completed during the follow up we can create an appraisal and transfer the qualifications or simply transfer the qualifications to the employee.

  • Training and Event Management - Invoicing in different Countries

    we are on SAP 4.7 110
    we have implemented training and event management in one company now for years and everything is runnig fine. We use also the SD-module to create invoices for the participants.
    We now want to introduce a new training company in another country. This means we need another Country for tax determination in billing. In customizing transaction OOSS I can only assign one default country.
    Does anybody know a way to set additional country settings for different training companies within on SAP client?

    Hello,
    From what I recall, TEM in ESS can be configured via ITS based service iviews. 
    There are some services like PV3I, PV7I, PV8I etc which you can find out using tcode SICF.
    The portal consultant can then create ITS based iviews for these services. 
    Since you are using EHP5, I think these services are now obselete. Please check further on this.
    As mentioned earlier, you can go for the LSO rather than TEM.
