Day timer format calendar

Does anyone know of software that can create what you can do with Calendar but in a week at a glance day timer format? IE - a 5 x 7 size with photos on the left and a week calendar on the right?
Thanks!

No I do not - but it sounds like a good suggestion for Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback

• SPA9000 and Day time format

Hello,
in linksys administration guide for SPA9000 the Day time format is defined as Start time: and End time.
Is it possible to have more than one periods of Day time?
For example lets say i want to define Day time beetween 08:00 and 13:00 and also day time 14:00 until 18:00. Is that possible?
Thanks

• Day View in calendar Component showing the next at times not everytime!

Day View in calendar Component showing the next at times not everytime! My question is when we go to Day view which day does it show? is it Server day where the application reside or the machine time zone day ?

I think you want to know, days & time picked by which machine, locally or from server? It does take from server where the application is running.

• Calculating the planned delivery time in calendar days or working days

Hi,
It seems that there is a way to calculate the planned delivery time in calendar days instead of working days.
When I use the "Planned delivery time calculation" (WPDTC), in Evaluation Options, I got the message :
"Note that follow-on applications are currently interpreting the planned delivery time as calendar days.
If they should be interpreting the planned delivery time as working days, you need to modify these applications. If the planned delivery time should be calculated in working days, there needs to be a factory calendar in Customizing with the calendar ID Country of vendor."
When MRP create a PR -with MDBT, MD03 or MD01- I want my Planned delivery time to be in working days.
I can't manage to make that "If the planned delivery time should be calculated in working days, there needs to be a factory calendar in Customizing with the calendar ID Country of vendor."
I would appreciate your help.
Thanks

Hi,
I understand that it makes sense that vendors calendar has to be different (compared to my plant).
But, I still don't understand why in the SAP help, they say "If the planned delivery time should be calculated in working days, there needs to be a factory calendar in Customizing with the calendar ID Country of vendor."
It seems that planned delivery time may follow a calendar.
Thanks,

• Calendar time format and week start format

Even though I have the time format set to 12H it displays as if it was 24H in the calendar:
Also, is there any way to change the format of the date picker? We want the week to start on Sunday instead of Monday:

Hi,
1. Tested in 8.81 and 8.82 versions that, the time format in general settings does not apply to calendar time format. Changes applicable only to documents
2. You can change starting of week through calendar form settings. But selection of date still appears from Monday.

• Wiki calendars stuck at AM PM time format

Hi,
I was wondering how to set the wiki (web) calendars to a 24 hour time format. It is set at Europe/Amsterdam in the settings but still there is only the AM PM time when entering an event. It does however import correctly into iCal on clients computers. The thing is we want to be able to use the webbased version too.. and nobody in europe uses AM/PM format. I can't for the life of me discover how to change that..
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Nobody, as the same situation is in Mountain Lion

I have had my iPhone 3Gs calender sync. break several times,

Vlingo doesn't consume all the app memory space itself... it can be used by a number of factors, including the browser cache.
Your unintall of Vlingo also caused a reboot of the device in which all the free memory space was cleared, from routine use of the BB device.

• Birthdays a day early in Calendar on Mountain Lion

On my Macbook Pro running Mac OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion) all the birthdays from the "Birthdays" calendar are showing a day early in Calendar. E.g. When I browse to contact Joe Bloggs in Contacts it shows his birthday as 12/03/1987. When I go into Calendar, there is a full day event for Joe Bloggs' birthday on 11/03/1987.
In Calendar I have selected the correct timezone (New Zealand Time) and have also enabled "Turn on time zone support" in the preferences. On my iPhone, I have the same settings and the birthdays display on the correct date.
Is there anything I can do to get the birthdays to display on the correct date in Calendar on my Macbook Pro?
Just clarifying, the date format used here is dd/mm/yyyy.

I tried the "year" view, but it makes not difference. A Spotlight search does not present the info in a calendar format, only in an events and reminders format. It also only seems to be finding the "today" view, but it is impossible to be sure since it only shows a time for the event but no date. There has to be a way to find the last time or all the times I made a Dr.'s appointment without going through an entire year or more day by day.

• Highlighting Current Day on Javascript Calendar

Good day everyone,
I have the script I have worked on from a book.
However, I am confused as to how I can highlight the current day of the month, so that any one looking at the calendar knows what the date is.
I would like to make the current day background color red and the text white.
I also need the current Month defaulted, say like December so it load with the calendar when the page loads.
I have been messing with this code all evening, no luck, or I am just not smart.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

onclick="populateFields(this.form)" />

OK, I have worked out how to do it. My earlier problem was that I wasn't applying the style property correctly to the input field. Amend the populateFields() function like this:
function populateFields(form)
// initialize variables for later from user selections
var theMonth = form.chooseMonth.selectedIndex;
var theYear = form.chooseYear.options[form.chooseYear.selectedIndex].value;
// initialize a variable for the current month
var currentMonth = false;
// get the current date
var today = new Date();
// if the selected month and year match, it's the current month
if (today.getMonth() == theMonth && today.getFullYear() == theYear) {
currentMonth = true;
// initialize date-dependent variables
// which is the first day of this month?
var firstDay = getFirstDay(theYear, theMonth);
// total number of
...<\/TD> tags needed in for loop below
var howMany = getMonthLen(theYear, theMonth);
// set month and year in top field
form.oneMonth.value = theMonths[theMonth] + " " + theYear;
// fill fields of table
for (var i = 0; i < 42; i++)
// reset the styles for the input fields
form.oneDay[i].style.backgroundColor = 'white';
form.oneDay[i].style.color = 'black';
if (i < firstDay || i >= (howMany + firstDay))
// before and after actual dates, empty fields
// address fields by name and [index] number
form.oneDay[i].value = "";
else
// enter date values
var val = i - firstDay + 1;
// if it's the current month and date, change the styles
if (currentMonth && val == today.getDate()) {
form.oneDay[i].style.backgroundColor = 'red';
form.oneDay[i].style.color = 'white';
form.oneDay[i].value = val;
I have added comments indicating what the new code does. You need to reset currentMonth and the styles of the input fields each time the calendar is populated. Otherwise, the old values are preserved each time you select a new month and/or year.

How do I format calendar so it goes Monday - Sunday, instead of Sun - Sat?

• Printing address book on day-timer portable page

Anyone have any suggestions for the page layout to print address book to Day-Timer Portable page format? They don't give any options (like Avery 5160, etc). My wife still likes her addresses printed out for her Day-Timer book. The old app that she previously used on her old Mac no longer works on the new OS on her MacAir.

I used to have the Palm Desktop application on my old Mac and that what we used to printout the Day-Timer Portable page format. Of course the Palm Desktop app no longer works on the new Mac OS. I guess if I could get the page layout for that app, I could duplicate the layout.

• Syncing with Day-Timer

I've been using Day-Timer Organizer as my address book/calendar for many years. Under Windows XP, it syncs perfectly with my Tungsten T5 over the cable.
I have needed to replace my XP machine with a Windows 7 computer, and have run into an obstacle.
The process of setting up Day-Timer with HotSync goes like this:
1) Tell Day-Timer I want to sync with a Palm Handheld.
2) Tell Day-Timer what I want to sync (addresses, contacts, tasks)
3) Adjust conduits in HotSYnc - tuyrn off the Palm Desktop conduitrs for Datebooik, etc. and check off the new Day-Timer conduits.
As I said, that worked fine in Windows XP. Under WIndows 7, I've downloaded the latest Palm Desktop software (even though I don't use it) to get the current version of HotSync.
ANd here's the problem: In HotSync, the Day-Timer conduits don't appear in the conduit list like they do under Windows XP. How can I fix this? Do I need to reinstall an older version of HotSync? Would that work in Windows 7?

Well Windows 7 hasn't been tested by Palm with any version of Palm desktop to see what will work and what will not work although lots of people have been having success with palm desktop 6.2 (which is the latest version available).
Without knowing the software you are using very well have you checked to see if they support palm desktop 6.2? It could be that they only support up to a certain version that does not include 6.2.
You may have to do testing to see what works if information is not available this would include likely uninstalling 6.2 and experimenting with an older version.

• Day link - want Item to contain day number from calendar

I'm a bit stymied here.
Using the calendar, I would like to add a branch to a page based on the DAY of the calendar that the user clicks on. For example, if the calendar is on the screen, and the user clicks on day number 15, then I would like that "15" passed to the page that the user is sent to.
Being a little more specific:
Page 1 is a calendar page. When the user clicks on a day number in the calendar, I want it to branch to Page 2.
Page 2 contains a text field for the calendar day. I would like to populate this field with the day number selected on Page 1.
I can't seem to get ApEx to do this, but it seems like an obvious feature that users would want if they're using the Day Link functionality at all.
Can anyone help??
thanks,
bruce

I just tried creating a custom calendar template. There I changed the Weekday Attributed / Day Title Format to the following:
<a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::P2_DAY:#DD#"><div class="t10DayTitle">#DD#</div></a>
and this worked out.
You also need to change the
Non-Day Title Format and
Weekend Title Format
the same way, in order to cover all dates.

• "Day-Timer" "Day Runner" "Day Planner"

Greetings,
Thru out the afternoon, I have been playing hide-and-go seek in Goggle and Apple Discussions. I am searching for an Apple "Day-Timer" "Day Runner" "Day Planner" type product. I use iCal and Address Book ... they don't offer the variety of features on several PC planners.
It would be wonderful to find an Apple application which I can use on my MacBook (#1 priority) and iTouch. Hope it is out there & someone can point me in the right direction.
Kind regards,

What are those features? If you don't tell us, we can't give appropriate recommendations. (Especially since I'm not sure what a "day timer" and "day runner" are.) If iCal does not fit the bill, you will have to look to a third-party, as iCal is Apple's only entry in the calendar market.

• Easy way to enter multi-day events in Calendar 7.0 (Mavericks)?

I need to create a bunch of multi-day events in Calendar (7.0 under Mavericks)
I think that I had discovered an easy way to do this under Mountain Lion -- double click on the day in Month view, type the name of the event, then type a date range, and hey! Presto!! Calendar created the multi-day event without my having to move the cursor and click to select start and end days in the little calendars.
I can't make that work w/ Calendar 7.0 under Mavericks -- has this changed? I've tried all variations of dates that I can think of - just the numerals for the days (13-19); numerals for month & days (7/13-7/19); including the year (7/13/14-7/19/2014); month names instead of numerals; with and without spaces around the hyphens..
I had Mountain Lion for only a couple of weeks on a new computer before I upgraded to Mavericks, so I don't remember exactly what I'd done in Calendar to enter all the info after double-clicking on a day & have the multi-day entry be created automagically
Thanks for any help
(I'm tying to find any reasons for keeping on using Calendar. I've used iCal for 10+ years to organize myself and my household, but I'm having a REALLY hard time w/ Calendar 7.0 under Mavericks -- no lines between days in month view makes it really hard to tell at a glance which events are on which days, especially if there are a lot of mult-day events; time for timed events after the event in smaller & pale gray letters is hard to see; little colored dots next to events are almost impossible to tell which color so which calendar an event belongs to (I have 11 Calendars); ...)

Tyrone,
The week view affords some of the capability that you are looking for.
Experiment with these suggestions:
1. Select the week view.
2. Choose the number of days that you want to display by selecting (Option +  + 1), (Option +  + 2), (Option +  + 3)...and so forth for the number of days desired for a week display of 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 days. Make sure the mini calendar window is displayed and you will see the number of gray days change accordingly.
3. Create a new item on Wednesday (Double click on the start point) and drag to your desired length, and if the event falls over the weekend change the display length as indicated in step 2 above, and drag the event to the end time.
Let me know if you get the hang of what I am trying to describe. It is easier to accomplish than it is to describe.
;~)
