DB Warning : CHECK POINT NOT COMPLETE

Dear friends,
the following DB message noticed in DB Check :
BR0976W Database message alert - level: WARNING, line: 4004375, time: 2007-11-29 18.06.48, message:
<b>Checkpoint not complete</b>
how to fix the above

basically, you need to one of those solutions:
1. increase size of redologs
2. increase number of redologs
choose one of those solution.
note that getting a "checkpoint not complete" message is not catastrophic if it happens only once in a while. if you get a lot of them, then do what I told you and follow Lokesh Gupta's supplied SAP note.

Check point not complete

Hi all,
Our oracle version is 9.2.0.7 and OS HP-UX.
In DB16 I am getting a warning Checkpoint not complete.( and it is showing increase the online redologfile size)
1.How can I Proceed?
2.Can I create Online redologfiles with big size using Sqlplus or is there other way by using brtools?

1.You need to proceed with solutions with Checkpoint not complete warning.Like increase size or add more groups.
2.Yes you can operate redologfiles with sqlplus or best one brttols or BRGUI.
Do with BRTools.

please help me as soon as possible For as soon as possible , please raise a severity 1 ticket with Oracle support. That said, for the error, the normal suspect is the constant switching of the log files. For that, check the log file size of yours and also play with the parameter archive_lag_target to control it.

in alert log file i found the error like:

it appers suddenly in alert log file and database users are complaining that database is very very slow and not able to complete theri task in database and lot of archive log are generating in archive destanation, what will be the exact cause.

not on itself... I'd rather check the physical configuration of your redologs and the point in time when this happens. See, there is a lot of things going out on disk once a checkpoint occurs. With a bit of misconfiguration you'll have one (lets call it) thread write out the information on the same spindle that tries to switch the logfile. That's the point where your "Checkpoint not complete" happens.

Warning - Checkpoint not complete

We have been getting Checkpoint not complete warning in development every day when we run update chk. in DB13. It is completed succesffully with the above warning. To resolve this warning message, we tried by setting the parameters LOG_CHECKPOINT_INTERVAL = 0, LOG_BUFFER = 1048576. But still we are facing this problem. We have refered one note (79341) which talks about increasing the log file size. In production, the log file size is same development and there is no other difference, but it is getting completed succesffully in prd. But in development it is giving this warning.
Can any one suggest on this?

A Checkpoint is a database event which synchronizes the modified data blocks in memory with the datafiles on disk.Depending on the number of datafiles in a database, a checkpoint can be a highly resource intensive operation.
If FAST_START_MTTR_TARGET is specified, LOG_CHECKPOINT_INTERVAL should not be set or set to 0.
To your concern between Prod and Dev you need to look in to redo logs switch how frequently it is.Then you can look in to actions.
Checkpoint not complete in Dev might be becoz DBWR writes too slowly, or log switch happens before the log is completely full.
So it depends on database activity.So ou can consider option of resizing logfile.

There are still retail packs of LR 4 to be found out there - for example, on EBay. It's just important to be careful whether it's a full version, an upgrade, or a student + teacher version. And to be certain it's genuine, and has a serial number which has never been activated before. The serial number that you get with that, should work with any 4.x version of LR, on either MacOS or Windows. And it will almost certainly be heavily discounted compared with the previous price direct from Adobe.
Of course the other way is to upgrade to Windows 7 SP1, which should also be available discounted, and thus eke out the life of an older PC (I personally would not go to Win8 in such a case). Maybe pick up some RAM also, if that's a problem, provided you can do so cheaply (since that will be simply thrown away in due course, when you get a newer PC),
Using LR4 instead of LR5 you do miss out on a few nice features, as well as potentially the Raw support and lens profiles for more recent camera equipment.

Are you using a USB hub? If so, try connecting directly to the USB port. This may help. Also, make sure you've got a USB 2.0 and not 1.1. If none of this helps, try reinstalling iTunes.

Check Point VPN-1 Securemote service causes Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion

Has anyone ever managed to solve this one?
We have a problem on Windows 7 SP1 32bit systems.
when we try to start the Check Point VPN-1 Securemote service we get this message:
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion
When we install a clean Windows 7 from an ISO the checkpoint client without any issues
when we use the same Windows Setup source and install it from SCCM TS - the CheckPoint client doesn't start
the client we're installing is : CP_SeucRemoteSecureClient_NGX_R30_HFA3
which is supported for Win7 x86
other than that there are no special prerequisites for the CheckPoint client. therefore we know the problem is local :/
we tried to isolate and minimize the cause of the issues by trying to see the differences between a clean installation from ISO and a clean installation from SCCM
We know for sure the problem is not from SCCM Client, Programs and Features, Updates, Group Policy
it seems like the configuration is the same but we can't seem to find any online solution about this issue
any suggestions?

Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
Netlogon
Server
Workstation

Check Point is the company that makes ZoneAlarm, a firewall-antivirus, et al security software suite. They also offer large-scale security "solutions" for companies.
I thought perhaps the blocking may have been coming from your end, i.e., if you were using ZoneAlarm. Can you reproduce this using Internet Explorer or some other browser?
Also, I'm assuming this is happing while using your personal computer and not coming from a work computer. If you're being blocked while using a work computer, that's your answer...
