While activating the DSO, Activation job failed with below message..
" ABAP/4 processor: DBIF_DSQL2_DEFAULT_CR_ERROR
Job cancelled
did anyone encountered such error in DSO activation..Please help..

Yes, This happends during the request activation in the Data store and this is because of the incorrect records.
Please look into SM37 logs and there you will find the object for which you have the incorrect records.
Go to the PSA and edit the incorrect records and load again and activate it.
This should work fine.... I hope this would resolve this issue...If you have any questions please let me know..

I am trying to change the parameter in Oracle DB;
i) PROCESSES = 96;
II) SESSIONS = 192.
Set the same with the command below;
SQL> alter system set processes=96 scope=spfile;
SQL> alter system set sessions=192 scope=spfile;

DBIF_DSQL2_DEFAULT_CR_ERROR": APO Interface without monitor log

Hi
V3.x
'Manage' in ODS - IP displays following message: " Request loaded using the APO interface without monitor log". The request is red in ODS and other requests after this request do not activate. Zero records were loaded from flat file.
The request is green in Monitor.
SM37 displays the following message: "ABAP/4 processor: DBIF_DSQL2_DEFAULT_CR_ERROR"
What do I do to rectify this?

please ignore my previous statement. I've noticed that the IP in the monitor is already green but that te following message is displayed: "Request REQU_49UKKF2TZEX4Z7WRU6BW28IM6 in ODS ZABAND must have QM status green before it ......"
Now I sit with inactive requests before and after this request that is red.
What do I do to rectify this please?

Error while setting up solman_setup

I am trying to setup solman through T.code solman_setup.
When i click on initial configuration.i am getting error.
I check st22 for dumps and i am getting following error.

i check the dump and it says
COMMIT/Rollback error on " default" DB connection.
I understand it is related to the memory management in sap
Please advice how to proceed.

SAP Back ground Jobs getting cancel automatically

All schedule Background jobs getting cancel automatically in ECC 5 server. Also not getting any job log in respective schedule job. please help me out with expert suggestions.

1)Are the bgd workprocess free in the system currently?Check if there are any long running jobs holding them.
Bgd Work process are free but with error code 373,223,007 etc for all 5 bg wp

2)Check for the sm21/sm50 bgd wp traces.
Getting so may Tem se management errors.
Some TemSe objects are stored in files. To do this, a path name is set up from the TemSe object name. To be able to use this path, TemSe management requires a directory. It attempted to create it itself. However, this did not succeed.
3)Check if the filesystem is full as you suggest no logs are being written.
File system having free space
4)Check if the user who has scheduled the job is locked ?
user unlocked

Proces chain problem in production

Hello friends,
i have faced the process chain problem in the production as "Status change of process ZD_BDIT_ACTIVATE" save status and trigge event if appropiate ? . and displayed message is " ABAP/4 Processor :DBIF_DSQL2_DEFAULT_CR_ERROR" . i want help to solved this problem and what exactly the problem is?
actually this problem came to activation and its indicated red but when i went to data target and then i show that activation is not started or not trigger. please give me what is exactly problem and what is the proper solution.
please reply me as soon as possible.

Quick Checks:
1. Check the status of User in R/3 which you have used in the RFC destination i.e SM59 and IDOC Adapter ? if it is locked , then unlock it. If password is the problem, then try to change the password.
Don't reset it ...
2. Also check out the status in XI, SM59... what is the user used ? is it correct etc... by testing the connection
3. I think the IDOC Metadata is having problem.. Go to IDX2 and reimport the metadata in XI.
Also note that, it is prefer to use Service User in SM59, and IDOC adapter instead of dialog use in the Production environment. so that no problem of locking etc
